Always love coming here. Hike separate trails, or put them all together for a 5 miler. The stairs have been re-done, and they added a connecting boardwalk. Kids love the Nature Center. Plenty of things to keep them busy. There is a tree house, puzzles, animals to be seen and heard, live animals and bird watching area. The outside deck gives you a great of Rocky River.

My one-year-old daughter and I love this place! The nature center is very kid friendly as well as informative; there are tanks with turtle and fish as well as a big climbing-play tree inside. It is also free, so great for a tight budget. There are a few stroller-friendly trails, but I took my daughter in her hiking backpack up the stairs (what a climb and what a view!). In our short stay here in Cleveland, we’ve already been twice. There is a lot to explore here.

Great park with some fabulous views. You gotta climb the stairs! Your lungs will explode but it's worth the view. Beautiful river and wetlands area.

This is one of my most favorite spots in the Cleveland Metroparks system. There are 150 steps up to the top and a terrific view once you get there! I love this in particular for exercise! Super nice area to walk and relax or hick throughout the numerous trails!

Rocky River Nature Center offers wildlife exhibits, a river observation deck & a bird-feeding station. You can watch birds all day. The deck offers spectacular views of a 360 million year old shale cliff from the deck overhanging the river.

Looking for a challenging trail to ramp up your heart or to reach that inner "rocky" feeling? This place is it! And then some! These stairs are worth the trip alone! They also do a trail trek race. Absolutely excruciatingly hard! Very happy when I come here! Nature's therapy at its finest!

Very Nice and Peaceful. Nice trails to walk on and great scenery. A view of the Rocky River that you can't see from anywhere else on foot. Also the Nature Center that is located here is very nice, educational, and free!

Beautiful paths to explore nature! The walking trails are all very well kept and signs are easy to locate. They have many different paths to choose from and each one holds it’s own adventure. Great place to bring the kids, paths are plenty wide and flat enough to easily push strollers on. Many trash and recycling receptacles are located along the paths so please do be kind and use them. They have a portable potty at the main entrance. The nature center itself is closed right now due to the pandemic, but still many outdoor areas to see. Great place to get out and exercise too, the steps are a cardio workout all by themselves and we saw many people running, biking, and walking their leashed dogs. Plenty of parking available and many of the paths are paved and handicap accessible 👍 but not all are due to steps and unpaved areas off the main paths.

I've been coming here since I was a child. Slight updates to the inside of the reservation, but still nostalgic and timeless. I love it here. Wide paths. Bike friendly, explorer friendly, kid friendly, wildlife friendly.

Great trails for exercise and fresh air. You can stay flat or take some hills or stairs. The trails loop so you end up where you started. Great views and you can stop at the nature center for a break and some education.

I’ve been bringing my son here a couple times a month and we love it! There’s a nice little play area for kids, a nice section of fish/reptile exhibits, and great areas to just sit and relax surrounded by the metro parks. There’s also a small reading room, a deck area, and plenty of room for kids to walk/crawl around and explore. The entire building seems overall clean and well kept.

Love this place, kids love this place! The trails, stairs, overlook and nature center itself are all very well kept. Water fountains and restrooms are available. Plenty of educational opportunities available. We haven't been in some time because the area is extremely busy but we snuck in around noon on a weekday and it was manageably busy.

Beautiful place and cool learning center. The setup is cute for kids and people, of all ages. Also theres a view window with rocking chairs inside, to just sit, relax and enjoy the view. The trails are nice as well, especially the steps one. The views and scenery are amazing year round. This is a dog friendly place but, its a tight proximity by the buildings and I've seen dogs get into it and be led off by their owners.

Such a fun place for kids! My kids loved seeing all the animals on display and playing on the nature inspired play sets. The restrooms were very clean and the staff is helpful. My older kids loved reading all the animal facts that are scattered around the building. It's the perfect spot to start or end your hike at the Rocky River Reservation.

Absolutely lovely nature center and walking trails. All very easy to navigate with children (and dogs). Many of the paths could be walked with a stroller, but a backpack carrier is easier, especially if you want to go up the steps. The nature center is a hit with the kids (16m and 3yrs), they could have spent the entire morning happily playing inside the nature center.

This is a great Gem hidden just south of Cleveland. There is a fantastic indoor Nature Center that offers a wide variety of information as well as educational seminars that occur at different times of the day. There are several walking trails outside that are well-established and Marked and give you a variety of scenery as well as difficulty. Highly recommended for a family to spend a pleasant afternoon exploring nature. No cost to attend.

Beautiful place! Cute little center for children to learn and play in. Walking trails are color coded and tells you how long each trail is.

Cute little place. Not really a lot about it. The trail is really nice but the stairs are so steep so make sure if there's any little kids with you to have them hold the railing. It only takes a three-step fall for your child to become paralyzed so please be careful
