A multitude of different stores check it out online. Here’s some pictures to help.

this mall is not going downhill as some reviews say. sure its not flourishing. sure it might eventually head down the inevitable route of urban blight who knows but from what i have just witnessed its doing just fine. if they want to see malls that are dead, head down to marion and check out the mall in fond du lac wisconsin. those malls are dead. this mall is still standing and looks to be doing just fine.

I feel this mall is thriving! Especially the food court with many places to choose from! The area is thriving with many selections of restaurants and ect.

Last Sears in Ohio until mid-summer 2020. Still has the rest of their anchor stores including Dillard’s and JCPENNEY. Busy mall with all the usual mall businesses and pretty good food court with a few restaurants around and in the mall!

Gosh, I haven't been in this mall for some time. I'm getting the feeling it's on the decline. Express had a last day sale regal cinemas was closing and there are a few other empty storefronts. I was pleased to see Dillard's Macy's and JC Penney was still open. There are a few stores that seem to be fillers...the sign of a declining mall. I hope it has the momentum to stay afloat.

I'm really glad that this mall is still operating. It's so sad to see malls being shut down or not having enough stores in them to operate. I can always find what I need at this mall. There are definitely some empty storefronts, but there's enough options to find what you're looking for. I wish more people would still go so they could fill these store friends because malls are freaking awesome. Especially for someone like me who hates online shopping.

We are at Charley's in the food court here. It is always a good experience. I've shopped at this mall many times, and I've even lost my phone here. Someone on the cleaning staff turned my phone in!! I was very relieved. For the last several years this mall has been kept exceptionally clean. That's no easy task with large crowds. It is a brighter and happier place than most malls. The displays are usually well done, and there's a wide variety of food, clothes, accessories, odds and ends to find. I highly reccomend this place.

It's not the best experience. I did try Asian massage 💆‍♂️. However, I was not impressed, and the language barrier left me feeling robbed. I asked for change to tip despite how I felt. The one in charge refused to give me the money to tip the person. I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

Horrible food court needs life put back into it. Bring back cookie store, Starbucks and Cinnabon. Noone Manning the smoothie place on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon? Seriously badly needed cleaning of restrooms this mall is in dire need of an overhaul. Either close or revamp immediate.

Great Northern Mall, a mall that has existed for a while now. The newer establishments instated in the mall has really made me start going more regularly! More unique stores that I would have to travel a long ways to see are now in the mall! I've been going here since as a kid and never have gotten bored of this mall.

Let me start by saying that Andrea was absolutely AMAZING!! Not only was she friendly but she was incredibly helpful! I just had a horrible experience with another mall in Northeast Ohio that made me give up hope of being able to shop at any mall for the Holiday's. Especially since I have mobility issues and I know that I am not able to walk through the entire mall. NOT only do they have electric carts to motor me around the mall to have my independence. The WONDERFUL human Andrea also explained to me how it works (First come, first served). She also gave me very good directions as to where to find the office that "rents" them out. The shortest route to get to that office, as well as, the phone number so that If I know that I am on my way to that mall I am able to call ahead and see if there is a cart available and see if I am able to reserve it. Talk about amazing customer service. It literally trumps my experience from the other Mall. I definitely will be experiencing my holiday shopping and other shopping at Great Northern !! Thanks Andrea! Your a bright light in this cold dark world! NEVER CHANGE!! You truly are the best!

This mall is clean and nice, but like most malls today, many of the storefronts are empty. Which is okay if you live within a 15/20 minute drive. Otherwise, it isn’t worth the trip. It’s eerily quiet and dated.

One of favorite parts of visiting great northern mall are the massage chairs throughout the mall. Over the passed 6 months we have gone up there to find them not functioning. No signs have been posted to why. It's pretty disappointing.

Great mall to shop at amazing stores with great deals. Food court has many restaurants that are very reasonable and give you an amazing quantity, more then you could eat alone. Mall also has an outlet mall with more amazing stores.

Great mall, the whole area has a ton of stuff to do. This mall has grown dramatically and so has the area around it. You can find anything you need within 5 mins of the highway exit.

Your typical mall.... It is nice and clean.... The day that I happen to go there a lot of people walking around which is nice of them all to let them in and with the older people walk and get their exercise..... The shops were just beginning to open everybody agree with me with a smile on their face and ready to work.... I won't be back to visit this mall again.......

a few store fronts were empty but now like most other malls in the area. A great place to shop or to sit back and people watch. Even have a play area for the little ones to run around and Play

Zebrano is a complete SCAM! BEWARE! My wife and I visited Zebrano in the Great Northern Mall because we were interested in purchasing furniture. We were told they required a $1000, fully refundable deposit to start working on designs. We were also given an estimate of $10000-$15000 for a living room and dining room setup. We made the deposit and the store showed us the design. They then told us it would be $50000. Which was quite a bit more than the initial estimate. So we said it's too expensive for us, and we asked for our deposit to be refunded. They then told us the deposit was no longer refundable. In order for the deposit to be refunded we would have to purchase furniture and they would then take our deposit out of that furniture purchase. It's a complete bait and switch and scam. They also tried to get us to apply for a line of credit before we even agreed to make a purchase just to see how much money they could try to swindle out of us. This place is a complete scam.

  • 3/5 Cory 11 months ago on Google
Surprised to see the Starbucks and H&M gone. The cinema is gone too. Seems like less people are shopping at GN. The only thing new was a high-end furniture store which most people in the area can't afford.

My opinion is biased. This place is a piece of my youth. All the local malls were. So this will always be a 5 star establishment regardless of it's steady decline

The mall the almost deserted when I was there, even asked a staff member at American Eagle if it was usually slow like this, sadly, yes, it is, but picks up on the weekends. The mall was pretty clean though, and the food court had many great options to choose from.

  • 3/5 Katie C. 9 months ago on Google
This mall used to be great but the stores that have been taking over empty places, suck. The food court is good with a variety of options but I really only go here if I absolutely have to

  • 5/5 Crystal Sanders (. 8 months ago on Google
This time we only visited the food court. It was still clean and organized. I would recommend their food court if you need to have a place to sit and get a quick bite to eat.

  • 5/5 Terry R. 8 months ago on Google
Mall was very clean and had some really nice stores. I wish more people would shop there so they could fill every empty space.

  • 4/5 Deidre W. 7 months ago on Google
The mall is still decent, even with so many stores closing. We spent most of our time at the food court, which has some nice selections. It would be nice if, like some places, there was a sign outside to let you know which door was for the food court. Also, the food prices are slightly astronomical, but I guess that's to be expected at the mall. It was clean, and we saw people cleaning while we were there. There was also a cool cotton candy vending machine. Again, astronomical pricing, but it played music and was pink, so your kids will want it, lol. Heck, I wanted it! I do miss the movie theater, but hopefully they'll get someone in there.

Shopping Center has gone downhill in recent years. Several stores closed or vacant stores that at one time were nice to visit and maybe make an impulse purchase. "Great Northern" isn't all that 'Great' anymore. Maybe 'Good' at best, but not worth making a special trip out here to shop at, sadly. This mall's "glory days" are long gone.

At the age of 77, I went to the mall to get my ears pierced for the very first time , at Claire's. I rarely ever went to the mall , except to go to the movies (which isn't there anymore). It was not as busy because it was Labor Day and people, I guess, were doing outside activities. The place is huge and it took me a while to find Claire's. It is a thriving mall. I did not see any empty stores except for one that said they would be back at the end of September. As for Claire's, I had a very good experience. The person who pierced my ears explained everything to me as she went through the process which included instruction on how to keep the holes from closing up or getting infected until the holes healed. In addition to the instructions, all supplies were included in the price.

We really enjoyed walking this mall. Visiting for a wedding and this was just to get in our walk of the day. Nice food court, some unique shops.

After yesterday ...I will NEVER shop at this mall again...There is a very nice Asian woman that runs a sunglass booth....As I walked up two Middle Eastern Men between the ages of 18 and 21 was trashing her booth and harassing her....I looked them both up and down....As soon as that happened security shows up ...They both left ...slowly laughing and making remarks at the security guard....Now I have made my purchase and now the same two guys are harassing the next booth....Crazy thing is ...this is the second time in a month these same two guys were hassling booths in the mall...what I find to be ironic ...the only booths these two hassle are the booths that are not Middle Eastern ran...Its two guys strong arming people like a mafia ...I feel bad for the security officers that have to deal with this kind of behavior ...As a consumer ...that was my last trip there ...NEVER to return ....As a mall its your responsiblity to make sure your vendors are safe....along with the clientele ....It makes me uneasy ....I have bought things from this nice lady the last six months ....My best advice to her ....moved to a different mall.... This behavior is setting this mall up for a Randall Park /Euclid Square/ Midway mall.....and its the malls fault for not getting a handle on this ! Open your wallet up Great Northern and hire Police Officers or be the demise like the other malls that have closed ! #Pitiful

It's alright although it does look deserted/abandoned from the outside (the outside upkeep needs improvement especially the grounds that apparently isn't well-maintained in the most recent times). The mall is definitely a bit smaller as it has some good places inside to go to but again not so much selections to choose from etc,

  • 5/5 Larry V. 2 years ago on Google

Good amount of stored and restaurants to choose from. Locations are good to other stores and restaurants if need be. Off a highway, which makes it easy to get around, too.

I just feel like this is a dying mall. Nothing opens till 11am which is hard for a mom that wakes up at 7am and her kid naps at noon. Not many stores.

For the love of god do something with the former sears section its become an eye soar. The mall itself is ok its just always quiet. Same stores as in every mall. Food court is always a bit pricey. Bathrooms are clean.

Went to a covid pop up site run by dcltesting.com. staff was very nice. Got a "your personal data is not safe" warning from my phone when I was entering info. Looked from them online found an add from mapquest with testing locations diffrent company name but no web site for this company, sketchy. I bailed and got a test slot at the Walker Center. Nothing negetine just sketchy as heck.

Barbara took care of me in the men's department as I was looking for some men's swim wear. Kind of held me by the hand the whole time and led me to where everything was. Cindy at the registers was Just as polite and nice and took care of me very quickly and very interactive with me while I was checking out. It's good to see some great customer service.

We went to the mall this time to see the Easter bunny. Went mid evening. Wasn't to crowded at the mall. We had an appointment online ahead of time so got right in, there wasn't much of a wait got our pictures and we were done. I only gave 4 stars because sometimes parking can be such a pain but overall great experience this time.

Love this mall. This is one of my go to spots. So much to do plus a movie theater. What a great way to spend the day. Everything is close by so if you want to grab food outside the mall its convenient.

It's a mall... Kind of feels like it's dying from the outside but most the places seem open and people definitely are walking around when I am there. The driveways coming in are a little annoying so just make sure you read the signs and pay attention because there are a lot of one way stops and bad angles.

2nd time I have arrived @ 6:45 and the door was half way down - when I asked I told we close at 7. I felt too rushed. I left and they lowered the gate even further. We saw 3 people look in and walk away. Bad business

Everything is ridiculously expensive and the place is eerily empty. I took my watch there to get the battery replaced at Dakota, but that's the only reason I go to Great Northern anymore. Except for the food court, all of the restaurants and bars and are gone.

Great place to mall walk! They happens to have a cool kids New Year’s Eve celebration. They dropped a bunch of balloons at 12:00 noon and let the kids pop them all and rock out with loud music. Giood time for the next week and a day family.
