I want to give the most accurate and fair description of living here. So lets look at each item that someone looks for when living in an apartment. 1. Location/safety- It is near the mall and by the highway. It is a very convenient location and I thought it was very safe. 4.5/5 2. Amenities- amenities like the gym and pool are kept clean and its nice to have the mail room/parcel to receive your packages. Also a lot of people don't use the pool so if you like swimming it wont be crowded. They recently updated the pathway concrete so its not as bad as before and there aren't many holes. So less likely to damage your car. 5/5 3. Garage/Car friendly.- the garages are a little small in my opinion and a couple other neighbors complained that if you are not careful you might scratch your car. It happened to mine, I was off for a couple inches. 3/5 4. Staff- overall the staff is nice. Seth in maintenance is very nice and friendly and helps you with anything. The other guys were ok but the "leader" would complain to you if he had to come fix anything or have an attitude. Office staff is nice and they helped me with my concerns even when someone stole my packages after moving out. I think they are the reason we stayed as long as we did. 3.5/5 5. Dog friendly- very dog friendly, mostly accepting of all breeds. 5/5 6. Trash- the trash collector was only one in the middle of the apartment complex so you had to walk your trash over and it was obviously always overflowing or broken. 1/5 This gets worse in the winter months. 7. Apartments inside- were spacious but the kitchen top doesn't have granite is just the regular laminate which leads me to my next point... 8. Price- I thought it was expensive considering I can pay the same thing for a luxury apartment with granite in Westlake or Willoughby. They also had a lot of extra fees and I ended up paying more than what I thought originally. Not to mention I was never able to see how much I owed in utilities- It was always blindly paying 70$ extra so I wouldn't get 100 late fee. Do not rent here unless you are planning to be here for at least a year and chose the apartment you want to be at and don't transfer otherwise you have to pay 600$ on top of your prorated month rate for the rest of the days. We were here for 1 yr and a half because of work and to be honest, after living in 4 different apartment complexes I wouldn't come back. That is my honest review without malice or anger and why I would give them 3/5 in general. I hope this helps someone who is looking to make a good decision for you and your family.

I've lived at Butternut Ridge for about 3 months. I downsized after owning a home for a many years and wasn't really sure what to expect. Honestly, I couldn't be happier! I absolutely love the size of the "town home" style apartment that I'm living in. I have an upstairs with the second bedroom and a second full bath and a very large loft area. I don't feel crowded at all, which was something I was looking for...enough space without having a whole house to take care of. Finding a town home style rental was my goal and there aren't many out there. The staff has been so friendly and helpful. I had maintenence in for a couple of small issues and they were here within 24 hours of my request and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The staff in the leasing office is also very helpful and excellent with follow through...even after I signed my lease and moved in. They have definitely earned 5 stars... And I can't wait to use the pool this summer!

I just moved in, and I absolutely love the office staff. They create the most beautiful events for the residents. They are so creative! My daughters and I look forward to many more! I like the apartment, however, I do feel they could use some fresh updates.

Rob came to fix the AC that wasn’t working at all. He has it up and running in literally 10 minutes! He’s very polite and courteous. Hard worker, too!

Great place to live. Everyone always friendly and professional. Love the Maintenance crew.. Maintenance always there to help and if they could not figure it out Robb would come no matter what time of day or night, always friendly and got things fixed as quick as possible.

While interning at NASA Glenn Research Facility, Butternut Ridge was an excellent place to stay. The leasing office team is very friendly and inviting to its tenants and always there to help you if you need assistance with anything. The residents at Butternut Ridge are also very friendly individuals and bring a very positive vibe. I would strongly recommend Butternut Ridge for anyone out there that is looking for a good and reliable place to stay while interning or working full time! :)

I waited about half a year of living here to write a review. This was my first time moving out on my own and moving to a different state. I had many fears going into living at an apartment complex. I arrived in the middle of winter. With just a few TVs, a bed, and my boyfriend and Is computers. This was our first place to create a home in. The first week being here our neighbors must of been having a dispute. I had a bit of anxiety moving in but the office reassured me that they would make my stay as comfortable as possible. Any type of maintenance I needed, was completed quickly. I am in a year lease with the complex and I'm glad I chose to. The office employees have the best customer service. The maintenance are super friendly and helpful. Now, I know that people can rate low because of neighbors or the cost of living here. My experience here has been wonderful besides some disturbance of my neighbors. This place has a mixture of people coming through and different personalities. Though the few people I have came across here who have stayed here for a while are the kindest people I have met. So you make that decision. I give them a 5/5 for their service, the effort they put into maintaining things, and the quick turn around time on any questions or concerns you have. Remember this is an apartment complex. If you also ask me, this area is convenient as well. Everything is located within this perimeter. The mall is a minute away, walmart or target is close, and there is quite a few good restaurants close by. The Burntwood Tavern is in walking distance from the complex. It's a great place for drinks or maybe enjoying lunch or dinner. Again, it's all up to you but wanted to post everything about my experience already.

It's been a great experience, and I am very happy to live here. Management and maintenance are friendly, and caring about anything needing assistance. They are also always quick to respond no matter what the ask is. Thumbs up all around!

Ok. My name is Kristen and I have a problem. I lived in Columbus for 11 years. 9 apartments, 2 ex bf’s houses (codependent/parent issues and someone with a personalized license plate that was “ZUPDOG”) I don’t generally make great life choices, OK? It was for a boy, OK? Stop judging me, Sharon. When relocating from Columbus to the west side of Cleveland, I had my spreadsheet and options ready. (I’m an organized and type-A psychopath). I made calls, added notes, updated the document. Sometimes I’m OK at life. After touring many west side properties, it was an easy decision to choose this apartment. Has it all been perfect? Of course not. But here are a few notables: 1. My AC went out on a 100 degree day. I’m chunky, OK? There’s AC needed for a non-thigh gap gal. They immediately rectified the situation. 2. The-new upstairs tenement’s dog yapped (ok yes, I’m a cat person) incessantly for the first 6 hours solid before I contacted the office. 7 minutes later, the barking ceased and I never heard it again. Don’t. Ask. Questions. The pool is pristine. I’m a. Self proclaimed ‘pool baby.’ I’m not talking the kinda girl who sunbaths in a bikini with $400 sunglasses (no hate). I’m a fish. A mermaid. The pool is beautiful and pristine. There are cabanas! Beautiful and spacious with TV’s and exceptional furniture. It feels like being on vacation. The workout room is ….stop it. I have no idea. I’m a mermaid. We don’t do treadmills. But it looks like a nice place. The staff is exceptional. It’s hard to even be snarky in this section (I’ll find a way, yep just did). I recently worked with Kimberly, property manager, on a unique situation. She was responsive, empathetic and accommodating. Renewing my lease has been an easy decision. I didn’t renew the lease on the boy…OK that’s another story, perhaps for another day. OK bottom line: live here. They take care of issues before you can finish explaining them. They’re sweet and caring. Like humans. Yes they’re humans and realize that you are too. I have never been happier with a home. Well, that house with ex, that son of a )@$;….but I digress. 5 stars. Staff, quality, responsiveness to issues, resident nice-ness, cute events, safety, overall tranquility. Illl keep renewing this leAse. Maybe. Unless “ZUPDOG” comes back into the picture….. XOXO thank you Butternut Ridge for making my phone stop auto suggesting “Squash” as the second word after I type Butternut. It’s never squash Siri, it’s never going to be squash. Ever.

Butternut ridge has been a great place to live so far! We are loving the amenities, and our pets are loving the shaded walkways throughout the complex. It is a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors and helpful staff. Our leasing consultant and property managers have been extremely helpful, communicative and attentive to whatever we have needed. Plus, the apartment itself has become comfortable very quickly. The open concept and in-unit laundry makes cleaning extremely convenient. Very highly recommended. =)

We have lived at Butternut for a year now. The amenities are spectacular and the community is very safe. If we experience a maintenance issue, it is handled in 24 hours or less. My wife and I love living here and could not say great enough things about the living space, staff and our overall experience! Phenomenal pet-friendly community!

I have lived at Butternut Ridge for about 5 months now and love it. The front office staff is so friendly and always has great communication regarding complex information, issues and events. They have something planned each month for residents which is amazing and even have organized events to give back to the local community. The maintenance staff is awesome too. They are always timely even when I had an after hours issue. I’m very happy to live at Butternut Ridge.

Maintenance team was outstanding when the hotel water tank flooded by bedroom below. Accommodating to my work from home schedule, took care of my belongings, kept me updated and efficient. Another awesome experience with an individual maintenance team member- snow from plow blocking entrance to my garage - he noticed and cleared it. I was so surprised and happy, I never would have gotten out and to work

I lived at Butternut Ridge for just over a year and I absolutely loved it. It was my first apartment and Jessica was super helpful throughout the visit and application process. Whenever maintenance was required, the maintenance team was quick to respond. The apartment is in a great location since it is close to Great Northern shopping and restaurants as well as 480. The pool and area surrounding the pool is outstanding and a great place to relax. The gym is easy to access and usually not very crowded. My apartment faced the woods in the back of the complex which separated the complex from the highway but it was still fairly quiet inside. I highly recommend anyone looking for an apartment with nice amenities and a great location to look at Butternut Ridge.
