Everything about this place is good. The food is really great 👍Try the burnt ends appetizer it is awesome. The rib tips are cooked the way they should be.

Ordered the all American bbq feast To feed our family Of 8 and have ordered it about 3 times before over the years. Hair/fiber/some kind of residue all over meat. One employee pretended to be a manager (completely different male voice) and put us on hold for 35 mins and then I called from another phone and manager was put on said his name is Steve and said come in tomorrow I’ll give you Your money back. My boyfriend who was on hold for 35+mins finally had his line picked up after I hung up with “steve” the manager and the guy said he was the manager and his name was “famous chad”. Laughed when I told my boyfriend that was the same voice of “steve” I just talked to. Reported them to health department and will never eat there again!! Will be driving the 30 mins tomorrow to return their food to them and make sure I get my money back!!

I was hungry and Famous Dave's had only two other customers in the entire restaurant. So, I had to enjoy the quiet n tasty experience.

Food is good. No burnt ends available they have thr rib tips all you can eat, 20 minutes been waiting for the next plate of 3 oz refill of ribs each refill of rib tips... no refills yet and our waitress is doing something else. Bad service, bad all you can eat service today for us.. don't know how they serve the others but us it was bad. The food is good bur the all you can eat means wait a long time before the next 3 oz plate of refill of ribs come in. The photo is the size of the refill plate. I gave them one star for the server and another for the food. The 3 other stars i didn't give is one for the long time before the food got here, one for my time waisted and the other star was a couple of the people in our party was done before the all you can eat refill got to the table. This place is so good! My family loves their barbecue food! I usually get the chicken, but tonight I got the brisket! Everything is so tasty! The brisket was very tender! The mashed potatoes are like homemade! I tried the collards and they were also very good! There’s also several types of barbecue sauces you can try which is fun! The desserts look good, but we didn’t have any room! They know carry pies from Bakers Square! There’s banana pudding and bread pudding! ❤️

Food just not consistent when you order take out. I’ve got burnt meals twice now and I keep going back in hopes that it would be as good as it was when I sat in to eat.

My Mom is in town from Missouri and wanted BBQ. Our server was so on point with checking in, beverages refills, and her smile. The food was amazing, fresh, and full of flavor. We didn't have room for dessert, so we took some home for later. My Mom lives between St. Louis and Kansas City, so she knows BBQ, and she LOVED it. I would give more than 5 stars, but Google will not allow that.

We all loved everything we ordered. Food was hot and delicious. The fried chicken is probably the best we've ever had. Service was great, manager came around to check on us and was very friendly. Will definitely be back!

Went out to eat with 2 other couples and had a great evening. Had no problem being seated and had a very good waitress named Heaven. Even though she seemed to be swamped with tables she stayed on top of our refills and our table. Kudos 👏

An amazing place to dine at by yourself or with family! Went here with 3 family members and got a lot more than we thought we would! We ordered the feast for two, and was able to feed everyone with some to spare. The spare ribs and cornbread muffins were especially good. The service itself was amazing, the server (Rose) was extremely kind and helpful! She was patient, answered any question we had, and was super friendly! Definitely planning on stopping here again when in the area!

Being older one of the feasts are two day meal of gooooood food WOW so much then dessert 👍

The food is very delicious especially the ribs I also love the baked beans It has a little spice to it I definitely recommend getting the platter!

I have stopped going here. Unfortunately the food has gone downhill from when they first opened up. I always get the ribs but they have been fatty and look like they were barely cooked. I like them a little crispy but they never cook them that way even if I ask. The side dishes come out but not hot, just warm. The people that work there though are pretty nice and have good personalities.

Ordered the ultimate burger got home and the burger was missing from the bun. It took over 15 minutes for someone to answer the phone, had to order food from another restaurant as it was already late. Won’t be returning.

Honestly if I could rate this a 0 I would have. We use to love eating here but the last few times have been horrible. Will not be returning again. We picked up our order, usually it comes with wet napkins, silverware and sauce packets of our choice. Didn’t provide any of that. We spend 60$ on 2 meals and we couldn’t even finish it. The only thing worth eating was corn bread. Food was dry (didn’t come with any BBQ sauce at all except the hottest one they offer) I had to eat my ribs with ranch from my fridge just to swallow it. Chicken was the same way. Paid 3$ more for the burnt ends and there was only 5 in the box. I asked the cashier for a can of Pepsi and she was going to charge me 3.19!!!! Insane prices for not good food. The salad came in a cardboard box and was put on its side when packaged.

Okay folks, I've done ate in many locayof different cusine, this BBQ is very tasty, Mac is good as well as Walt's beans. The catfish was tender and seasoned well. Now I ate the rib tips and they were seasoned, added some sauce and was delectable as well, If your in Olmsted, Ohio stop in

A really enjoyable and delicious experience at Famous Daves Bar-B-Que!!! If you want good Ribs, good wings, and good customer Service make sure you stop by to have a great time with the whole family!!! The modern/classic southern Aesthetic completes this 10/10 Barbecue adventure 😀

So I GrubHub there 2 meet platter which arrived hot and promptly however that’s where it stops the five bite-size pieces of sliced brisket that I got is ridiculous tasted OK but five bite-size pieces on two pieces of rock hard bread you couldn’t even bite through the sausage leaves quite a bit to be desired for $32 I was expecting more food and better they definitely have lost a customer. That was the first time and the last time I will have famous Dave’s I’ve eaten barbecue all across the country and this is definitely at the bottom of the list

First off waitress was really polite we ordered burnt ends which were very delicious I ordered a slab of ribs I asked the waitress are the ribs fall off the bone or is it a slight pool then off the bone she says they're not fall off but they're bites and pull off clean off the bone I ordered them got the food looked good start eating the burn ends were delicious then I got the ribs start eating them and it was the worst slab of ribs I've ever eaten in my life there was no pull off the bone there was nothing it was tougher than shoe leather and I told the waitress and she said let me see what the manager will say took forever she came back out and said the manager asked is there something else I wanted and I said no thank you then she came back out a while later and said the manager is going to take him off the bill Manager never come out to speak with us which I find very unprofessional and there was mind you there was only six tables in this restaurant and it took forever unacceptable and I will not be back

The food was really good, if you want to try several types of meats I suggest the Founders feast, that was 2 person meal. I added the picture a couple of meat was taken before the picture was taken.

I went here on a Sunday at about 1:00 pm. Next time I visit it will be about 1:00 pm on a Sunday!!!!! I had a burger and fries, which was great, but I am posting this review about the Flying Pig! The Flying Pig is a sharable platter with rib tips, chicken wings, and more! My picky husband LOVED IT! It is perfect for 2-3 people to share. The place was clean, the staff was also nice AND very friendly (which is very important to us). We will definitely be going back!

This was the first time coming to a Famous Dave’s and I would definitely come back. Although the pork ribs were a tad dry on the ends, for it being a franchise restaurant I was very impressed. Not only with those but the sides were extra satisfactory as well. The banana pudding taste like grandma’s, and the complimentary corn muffin with the meal was tasty and just what you’d expect. With all the other flavors of the sides and meal, the broccoli that had no butter nor salt was delicious and steamed perfectly. My only criticism was the bathroom needs some serious work. There were broken doors, holders, smelly, and had no style.

I’ve been a customer of this restaurant for many years. I’ve bragged about the food to family and friends. However, after my latest experience I will NEVER eat here again. I took my family here to celebrate my sons 13th birthday because this was his favorite BBQ spot. Upon arrival the place was empty, the host made it seem as if it were a problem that we had a party of 6 and took about 5 minutes to find a place to seat us in a empty restaurant. Once finally seated the the server introduced herself and she was professional and doing her best. We ordered our food ( which was priced higher than ever before) and waited about 20 minutes. The food was in no way what it had once been in the past. The brisket was dry, the “red skin mashed potatoes” were clearly not red skin, they were from flakes! The fries were under cooked and the Mac n cheese was cold. Everything was cheap and disgusting. Do not waste your money on this over priced low quality food. The management team should be ashamed of what they have allowed this once great restaurant become.

6/26/22 - It's been awhile since we have been here and was pleasantly surprised by some of the changes. This location now serves fried chicken ad it was delicious. The ribs were tender and juicy as well. Our server was fabulous. Desirae made a few suggestions that were on point. She saw how much I enjoyed the chicken and when i asked about getting a few additional pieces she was all over it. She was fun to talk to and made sure we wanted for nothing. Great time!

Food was great. Our slab of ribs came out fresh and hot. Our waitress Jen was amazing (Thanks, Jen!). She worked very hard to keep us happy and satisfied with our meal. Unfortunately, there was a table nearby who were treating her badly, complaining about everything from the food to the bill. Despite this, she maintained a cheerful disposition and continued to provide excellent service. Hopefully, other customers learn to be more accommodating of restaurants that are short-staffed, especially at places like this where the value is incredible.

First time visit & was not disappointed. The brisket was tender & the sauce yummy. You can taste the garlic in the red skin mashed potatoes. Our server, Rochelle, was helpful and knowledgeable and friendly. All around great experience

The floor was sticky. The food was overcooked and very hard to chew and had a lot of fat. Server was nice and attentive but we are concerned about her using her phone while she had our credit card. It looked like she was taking a picture of it, made us VERY uncomfortable. She (of course) denied it and showed us that she didn't but she could easily have sent it to someone or herself in an email... then erased it in case she was called out on it. We will not be returning and do not recommend. The food is definitely not worth the very high price. If course we have notified the credit card company to be on the lookout for suspicious charges.

Absolutely the best chain barbecue joint I've ever been to. Of course your taste and mileage will vary but as far as chain operations I think they do a great job. Went there to grab some food for the game and as usual had a great meal. We are to take out brought it home warmed everything up and couldn't be more pleased with the consistency of and quality of their food. Can you tell I'm a fan? And no full disclosure neither myself or anybody in my family has any fiscal relationship with this restaurant.

Arrived for a joint Bday dinner treat. There were 3 of us ladies and we were advised that it would be a 15-20 min wait, but we were seated within 10 min. Since I was hungry, I was thankful. Dave, was our waiter and was courteous and patient to answer our questions about menu items, since one member had never been there. We had, salmon, ribs, all you can eat rib tips (me, I told you I was hungry), beans (yummy) coleslaw (just the right mix of creamy and crisp) and of course those melt in your mouth cornbread muffins! Unfortunately, we didn't have room for dessert-we all had eyed the banana pudding. One of us earned the clean plate award and I had rib tips for my late night snack. Will definitely be retuning before my next birthday.

Great food, lots of variety. Comfort seating. The staff and service was really great! I took friends twice in a week.

Did a take out order , friendly staff and will be coming back for some more food and they had pretty good prices for their quality of food. I was happy all in all gotta try different sides and then update hopefully to a full 5star review.

Food was good, but not amazing. The service was excellent though; it was fast, quick, and accurate. The atmosphere is cool but while we were there (Sunday afternoon) the restaurant was pretty empty so it was kind of quiet. I can imagine on a Friday or Saturday night it would be a great spot to swing by!

Arrived today around 2:00pm. Was our first time back inside a restaurant in 2 years and were so excited to be back at Famous Dave’s. We stood in the front for over 15 minutes waiting to be greeted by ANYONE. No one came. I even looked for a bartender on the side to see if they could get the host/hostess…. And no one was behind the bar. When we finally gave up and left, 4 families walked out with us. Absolutely disappointed.

Workforce shortages seem to have affected the business. We had a long wait for a nearly empty restaurant, which really threw a kinkin our travel plans. We ended up in a section hosted by the bartender. Busy but friendly and efficient!

I was so disappointed because my ribs tips are normally delicious but they were so dry. They did replace them and gave me more. But they were tough to chew also.

We waited to be seated, which is understandable, though there seemed to be plenty of open tables and staff wandering around. Once seated, we waited at least 10 minutes, probably more for our server. We gave him our order right away. We waited a very long time for our food. Only one of the people at our table was offered a refill on his drink. Our server checked on us only once after we received our food. We had to wave him down to get our bill so we could leave. Overall, we spent 2 1/2 hours of our time on a very disappointing experience.

The service from the host was amazing. She was kind and truly understood the food was either under cooked or cooked some days ago. I ordered the Salmon and it came twice under cooked and slimy. Mashed potatoes came out twice barely room temp.. Brisket was super old and dried out. My friend ordered the ribs, again cold and under cooked, greens came cold pulled pork was just sad.. they tried adding more sauce to it and made it so much worse. The place was practically empty and we honestly thought we were beating the dinner rush since they had so many employees walking around doing nothing. I will never return and will not refer this place as nothing famous but for bad food

Burnt ends are delicious, worth coming back for. Kind of pricey but I smiled the whole time eating them. Fat boy status. Lol. Sides r good. Mac and cheese and the greens!!! Yea, good job with the southern style grub. It's the closest I get in Cleveland! Thanks for having what I'm craving . Need some more choices on the meat. Maybe some prime rib???

I had Shontoria as my sever on Saturday. That girl was great. She kept our drinks filled and was very attentive. We had a party of 24 and she was literally the best ever. She made sure we didn’t even have to ask for drink refills she brought them before we had to ask. Our food came out hot and within 15 minutes. Overall we had the best experience ever and most of it was because of our wonderful server. We will be returning and requesting her again.
