I was here just last night and was disappointed all around. Dirst glance, i was excited to go in. Looking around, tbey recently had a face lift with new flooring, tables, chairs, etc. We walked in as a group of people were checking out and weren't even acknowledged. Once the only server on the clock was done ringing them out (about 5 minutes?), she finally comes over and seats us-not acknowledging that we waited and looking somewhat annoyed that more people were coming in. We sit down and wait...and wait. I almost left at the 10 minute mark, but it was late, and I was hungry... The server finally comes over and takes our order...and I find out they are out of more than a couple things. It is a little after midnight, so I'll give them a pass. We then proceed to wait 8 minutes for our soda. In that time, I notice my feet are sticking to the floor...umm, ew? Another 20 minutes pass...The food comes and we are informed that they were also out of the cheddar bun for the burger, so they subbed out a regular one and "sprinkled cheddar powder on it". And, to make it better, the meat on my Prime Rib Philly sandwich was horribly overcooked and charred (see the picture below). We eat..and wait...and wait..and FINALLY get the check. When I go to stand up, I realize that the chair that I have been sitting on is also sticky because suddenly I was (painfully) pulling the exposed skin from my legs off of the chair and trying to NOT tear my dress that was also sticking. I understand that they were short staffed and a bit busy for midnight, but the service was bad, the food wasn't good, and the place was dirty. I wish I would have just rolled through a fast food joint instead of dealing with that. Dine at your own risk.

I frequently went to this restaurant on a regular bases years ago before moving away. This was my return and though they were very short staffed (as most restaurants are during this Covid era) the service was friendly, quick and efficient. And the food was well prepared and tasted good as usual. It wasn't busy but the tables, restrooms and seating area was very clean. Good to see this location continued its high standard after all this time.

Love the grand slam birthday deal! & the milkshakes are really good 😊 Denny's is comfort food to me. I enjoy it. & I love that they have the calories on the menu. it's so convenient. The staff at this location seen to be really chill. I came here around 9:30pm so reply calm vibes. Really quite peaceful place to enjoy a late night meal.

I just had horrible service here. It was abysmal. My friend I ate out with could not even touch all of her food. Our server was horrible. She was nice at first but then it was horrible. She said the cook is efficient so our food should be out shortly but it took 40 minutes to get our food. And the food was so bad we left a lot of it on the table. Horrible service. Just horrible. The pancakes were burnt and tasted of cardboard.

Too bad leaving "0" stars isn't an option! Worst Denny's experience EVER! On the night of St. Patrick's Day, I called in a "TO-GO" order just after midnight. I was told by, [who I later found out was] the manager on duty, that it would be ready in 10-15 mins. Arrived within 10 mins, checked in (with the same manager who I spoke with on the phone) at the counter and then took a seat. After sitting for almost 20 mins, I politely asked if the order was almost ready. I was responded to with a "less than friendly" attitude and was [then] told that my order was never received by the kitchen. "I'm gonna kill them back there, I put it through but no one saw it", the manager told me. I thanked him, then sat down and patiently started to wait (what I thought would be) another 15 mins. After 30 mins I realized I was being blatantly ignored/avoided, so I tried calling (from inside the restaurant) and watched as every employee ignored the call...TWICE! At one point 2 employees were chatting at the counter by the phone but never answered it. After all was said and done, I was given the wrong order so had to wait longer for them to make what I ordered. One of the side items (which I specifically asked if they had) I ordered was on my final receipt but not in the bag. I went back in and politely mentioned they forgot it, then was told they no longer carried that side item. In the end my 10-15 minute wait turned into over 2 hours! I can excuse quit a bit from a busy restaurant after midnight, but on a night when there are more empty tables than full...I cannot justify why the service was so sloppy with a manager who was clearly overwhelmed and incapable of doing the job. I stopped ordering from here through Uber eats awhile ago thinking it was a delivery service problem, now I know that it's a Denny's in North Olmsted problem. Oh, and I am including pictures of my order. Sadly I didn't open the box until after I returned home. Tell me, would you eat something that looked like it was stepped on?... In the end (after over 2 hours of horrendous service - $12 - what looked like inedible "food", and NO VIABLE APOLOGY), I went to bed hungry...

Don't go here around 4 am..the waitresses and everyone here is extremely slow and don't seem to know what they're doing..takes 5:min alone to seat you then they don't have sugar packs or anything for coffee..30 min wait with only 2 tables to serve just waiting on eggs and bacon and pancakes..felt sick to my stomach afterwards too..I won't be back

FOOD POSSIONING ! This place has gone so far down the drain. Rude waitresses, poor quality & prepared food & very loud mouths in the kitchen area. Long wait for food & check out, even though they are dead. (1 visit) Our waitress disappeared to take an order & said she was sorry she fell asleep. (2 visit) salad was ordered - brown lettuce, with no eggs on it - it was a Cobb salad. I asked where’s the eggs, they went backed to boil some (WHAT ??) it takes 20 minutes to boil an egg !! I told them to take away my rotton lettuce salad & ate 2 pancakes. (3 visit) Last visit !!! I asked if they had fresh lettuce - waitress said yes. I ordered the Cobb salad again. This time I ate it. When I got home I had the worst stomache ache - (strong cramps), Nausea & hot flashes / I felt if though I was going to black out & had massive diarrhea - I had food poising. The day before we also visited this Denny’s and a strong smell was in the restaurant, I asked about it, they said it was cleaner. It smelled really like molding dirty rags. There is so much more I can add but the toilet is calling me for the 8th time now. This Denny’s use to be so busy - I can definitely see why they are dead now every visit. The health department should shut them down !

Despite being short staffed the 2 ladies took good care of us. Our food wasn't hot but warm enough to still be good. I had the bourbon chicken skillet. It was delicious!!

We needed a quick stop to grab breakfast for our 6 person party, we chose Denny's. We were greeted and guided to our seat. Our server was polite and quick and definitely made sure we were happy & satisfied. I would definitely go back for the strawberry pancakes with vanilla cream....So GOOD!

People never complement the management General Manager “Amanda” always goes out of her way to help her employees. She is always helping the cooks when he has a lot to cook, She even goes in to help with the dishwasher even The services without asking We need more Amanda’s as manager working in our restaurants. My wife is ADHD and it’s very hard for her to stay focused. Amanda always makes sure she stays focused and does her work, not a lot of managers care anymore. De’Adrea

Me and my kids have not been to Denny's in years due to going to the only one near our area on West 150th. Unfortunately that place has gone downhill today me and my son was craving some Denny's and came across North Olmsted location. Our server was amazing and the food was overwhelming what the amount they serve you but in a good way food was delicious we will be back to visit again

Free food! Joined rewards club and received free value slam. Hadn't been to Denny's since my last call days after the bars closed. Were talkin' eons. Heather (waitstaff) was on the ball and was very friendly. Ordered value slam and received French toast (one piece), two eggs over easy, and two crispy strips of bacon. Also added cheddar hash browns. Eggs perfect, as was crispy bacon. Hash brown portion skimpy and barely any cheddar. Tasty but left you wanting more. Thank you Denny's for the deal. I'll be back!!!

Very grateful for the free grand slam on Veterans Day. Only problem was the waitress was terrible. She messed up our order and it took 75 minutes before they straightened it out. People that came in a half hour after us got served before we did. Food finally came but we had no utensils to eat it with. I had to go look for her to get some. The place was not even that busy. I wanted to sympathize knowing many places have staffing issues but she was rude and dismissive no matter how nice we tried to be. Didn't complain to manager because we see they have help wanted signs up and they are probably stuck with her.

Scrambled eggs with cheese. When called to let them know no cheese they said they cooked the cheese in it. Dennys employees now using the new invisible and tasteless cheese.

We got there late at night after a concert, waitress was a little rude, said there would be a wait there were only 2 cooks, and 1 was leaving. A lot of people ended up leaving and not staying. We waited the 30 mins. Food was ok, I got the Denver omlette with cheese, didn't get the cheese, toast wasn't toast just warm bread and omlette over cooked. But waitress we had was nice, she seemed frazzled though. All of this was really no fault of staff,as they were short staffed.i understand this so that's why I gave a 3 star.

This was horrible. We got there at 8:52 pm and were told we were the last table to be sat. They close at 10 pm. My club and hash browns got to the table 12 minutes before the Lumberjack Slam and a Hamburger. My hash browns were coated in grease. The eggs were cold and sat in grease and the ham slice was burned. The burger was the problem. It was ordered well done with bacon, lettuce, tomato and pickle. It came with cheese and we asked for it to be fix. The server took it to the cook who scrapped the cheese off. When we refused the server told us it was the cooks idea. After making us a new one and putting it in a Togo container the server proceeded to tell the cook we were being 'snobby' to her. Needless to say the hamburger came home, the club as well and the Slam wasn't eaten. When I got home I found the burger wasn't cooked thru at all. It was still mushy meat texture, and raw tasting. This was an appalling meal. We will not be back. I will drive a little farther to a different Denny's to have a good meal. My daughter and I went today to talk to the manager and she was fantastic. After listening to the entire situation she apologized profusely and offered to make it right. After speaking with her we will be back to try again later this week.

When we arrived they let us know they were short handed but were willing to sit us if we were ok with the food coming out a little slow. Zaid was the only server and he was amazing. He was doing his best to get our drinks, help out in the kitchen, roll silverware, bring out our food, and get refills. Our food was great, it was probably the best food I have ever had at any Denny's.

I ordered their Philly Cheesesteak Omelette. But instead of hash brown and toasts I asked if it’s ok to switched it to pancakes and they did instead of adding and being charged for extra $2.99. When the food arrives it’s freshly made. The pancake is not fluffy and there’s a little gooey batter in the middle but that I really want. The omelette lacks of salt and pepper and it’s still alright coz I was able to add it and maybe it contrast with the pancake syrup. The veggies are nicely toast. Lastly, the steak. Oh the steak is so soft, tender and juicy. I finished my order without using my knife except spreading the butter on my pancakes. That’s how soft the big chunks of steak. The staffs are so great!!! By the way, the exact location is 25912 Lorain Rd, North Olmsted, OH 44070. Hope I will get the same fantastic experience back in IL.

Server was great. Order was mistaken, on my part from mishearing, but they brought out correct food very quickly. Cooks, server, and food went way behind what i was expecting. Thank you for a meal that was so good im salivating as i type this... that meal was 5 days ago haha

Food doesn't taste very good. With the $10++ a plate, I get a better quality meal from "first watch". The bacon was chewy, although it was well cooked. Service was good. the new staff was in the middle of training, yet he was very good and attentive to the customers. The place was okay. Need a deep clean though.

Very surprised. For was actually good. I used to work at a dennys years ago and the food was decent, but in the last 10 years or so it has gone way down hill. That being said, my kid wanted dennys, so we went. Service was good, food was good. Very surprised.

I use to work at Denny’s North Olmsted, they fired a General Manager on her day off and over a Text message. Brought in someone who really doesn't care. They also have a manager working there that makes women feel uncomfortable. Second shift service is lazy all the way around.

No one makes better flapjacks. They are as light as a cloud, just the right size, and the taste is scrumptious due to the butter milk. They offer a variety of toppings too. The waitresses are pleasant, accommodating, and serve you cheerfully. I don't mind tipping the. well, as they deserve it. 🤗

Very slow service. Two servers for the entire restaurant. Food was okay. Parking was plentiful. Front door slams very hard. They need to fix that asap. Busy place for Monday morning breakfast. You have to wait so long that you lose your appetite. Avoid this place if your are hungry.

They close at 9pm. So if you want a dinner and not a started dish I would get there well before 6pm. There was only 1 waiter and a cook, Oh and by the way the waiter has only been a employee for 6 weeks and left to do everything by himself. I well not be returning.
