    Been coming to this location for years and my results have been mixed but yesterday i came in to the paint department where i was served by Julia. She was amazing not only did she go above and beyond to make sure i chose the right paint but she also saved my money and time by storing my number in a data base so anytime i need these colors for my business all i have to do is give them my number and presto all the info is saved! Thank you Julia!

    I'm doing some home improvements and went to the Great Northern location. They pretty much have the same things as the other home depot in Strongsville but what sets this store apart is the customer service. I've made several trips here and every time, I've had an interaction with such friendly, knowledgeable and customer oriented individuals. Some of them are Bridget, Susie, Scott and Donna. Bridget is so sweet and is constantly involved with customers. She's not like most of the people that are at the self checkout who just stand around and talk to other staff members. She actually talks to customers, will answer questions and keeps moving things along. There's also an older gentleman who works in plumbing and he is also very accommodating. Though this store is further away from me than the Strongsville store, I go to this location because of the service. I hope management reads this and gives recognition these sales associates.

    First garden shop closed. Second no cashiers to ring you out so u now work here as a cashier. The lone employee said they were short handed, not my problem. Hire better and treat the team good so they want to work here.

    I had a mishap with a delivery. At first I was angry that our delivery was delivered to the wrong house. I visited the store and eventually talked to the manager, Amy. And Wow, was I shocked. First of all she was kind and compassionate. After I explained the problem and she realized that the picture of the delivery posted on her site didn’t match the previous deliveries with the same address, she immediately contacted the regional office. She called me each day to update me as to each and every step and walked me through the process. I was not left guessing. In two days she resolved the issue. Amy exemplifies what customer service should be. She listened to my problem, she asked my questions to ensure she fully comprehended the situation, she swiftly acted in a professional matter to resolve the issue and most importantly communicated with me every step of the way. Such a great experience!

    Had visited The Home Depot last month to get some wooden boards. There while looking for someone who could help in cutting the boards as per required length, we met Faraz. What a man! He knew many languages and greeted us in Hindi. We are from India 🇮🇳 and our mother tongue is hindi. He even shared multiple stories of him while his stay in India. He helped us in getting the boards cut and also guided us. If you are visiting This home depot, do meet Faraz. You are going to love your experience with him.

    I wanted to share my personal experience with the Home Depot in North Olmsted. I can’t say enough about the Manager Chris Jabo. He really went above and beyond for us! He is a super nice guy who genuinely cares about making the customer happy! Just like every other business out there right now they were also short handed. That said he personally took the time to help us! I will tell you this was the friendliest Home Depot I have ever been too ! Everyone was so personable & nice the cashier Bridget and the two guys who helped load the grill into my car. I truly believe that speaks volumes to how the store is managed. It had such a friendly atmosphere about it. I live in medina but I will definitely be shopping at the Home Depot in North Olmsted. Thank you again Chris Jabo we can’t wait to cook out on our new grill!

    The pricing is OK and the products are what they are. It always depends on the brand you buy. The big issue is that any workers on the floor would rather run away from you than help. Good luck if you ever have a question or need help in making a purchase. I would say you have about a 30-40% chance of finding someone helpful, professional and knowledgeable.

    I come here quite often and it's very rare to have a bad experience. Of course you may have a rep that may be aggressive for whatever reason, which has happened to me, but otherwise every other experience has been good. Good prices, good option, and for the most part good customer service.

    Excellent staff here. We needed a part for a toilet in our home. I asked at the front desk where I might find it,she directed me to it. Super friendly folks at the check out and we were finished quickly.

    I had an employee go the the North Olmsted store to get some wire and some plugs. They did not have the plugs which is not a bid deal. The problem is the wire. We requested a specific length and size wire. They cut the wrong size to the wrong length (too small of wire and 4 feet short). They also billed us for the correct stuff. So we paid for a bigger size wire and a longer length than we were provided. The person who I send does not know what they are looking at and took their word the product was correct, as one should expect to be able. When we called they said it would be no issue and it could be returned. When we went back, they were very rude and said they would not accept the return as they had a sign stating they do not accept returns on cut wire. They essentially pointed to the sign and said tuff luck. Thanks for paying too much for the wrong product. The callus and rude nature of the customer service staff to younger people is simply not acceptable. The staff took advantage of a younger person. UPDATE: A manager ended up getting involved and corrected the situation. They issued a full refund. The manager did a fantastic job recognizing the error.

    I am going to give Tom a thousand stars, earlier today my husband was received by Tom, he had to unload his semi truck in the garden area, he also needed help with the language and with a pain and irritation in one of his eyes. Tom was very kind, empathetic, and cooperative. It is not every day that we find human beings of the height and great quality of Tom. Thank you for giving of your kindness and for all your help.

    Was a bit disappointed in the fencing. My nephew had to go through about 20-25 slats to find 4 decent ones. Now, it was the wrong style we have to return this week. So sad after getting decent ones. We are always happy here for major purchases

    I've been trying to get some light bulbs for a candelabra that dates back 90yrs. They make the bases the same size,but the actual glass size is much bigger. I'm sure I could find them online, but I don't shop online. Think 🤔 that they don't carry those old school bulbs anymore. 😔 😔 😔

    They did not have the circuit breaker I needed. Not a big deal but I asked for help, 10 minutes later a young kid came over, looked at the shelf & said they don’t have it. Didn’t check a computer or offer to order me what I needed. I needed several items but the kid had no knowledge of electrical. He went to get help & after 15 more minutes I left. I know it’s hard to hire but just putting bodies in the store doesn’t help. I’ll order what I need online from somewhere else. I’m not paying extra when I’m not getting extra.

    Arrived and checked in for curbside service and had to go in after 30 minutes. Staff was appropriately apologetic and got on it right away. Great way to bounce back from an easy enough mistake.

    Five stars for their positive and pleasant cashier ladies. Especially Robin!.. there are many others as well. They are pleasant and friendly.. they make you want to buy stuff and take on that project! Enthusiastic customer support is a big selling point at the North Olmsted store. Keep up the good work!

    I waited 51 minutes for curbside pickup. It was to exchange an order they had messed up the previous day. Customer service rep offered no apology and was short and snippy when I called after a half hour to check when the right product would be brought to my car. Don’t waste your time here like I did.

    Delivery service was a nightmare. The delivery service never bothered to show up twice for the delivery dates they promised. Had to cancel the order then reschedule it because the company went past the 30 day delivery due to their errors.

    Needed to pick up some tools and came to this location. They provide an app that allows you to easily find what you’re looking for in the store which makes things convenient. My experience was fine, but sometimes the reps working the registers are impatient when you ask for help. I asked a young woman for help while I was at checkout because my item didn’t have a price tag and she seemed bothered. She had me go to the aisle where the item was and take a picture of the barcode. I did so only to come back to see she hasn’t held my place at the register. Overall an alright experience.

    We had a washer delivered today purchased from home Depot great northern. I confirmed the day before delivery that a 6' waterline is to be installed. Today a 4' waterline was supplied....isn't long enough. I'm told by the delivery service that they don't carry 6' and Home Depot doesn't supply 6'. So the tech hooked up a new machine on old waterlines.... The sales person is clueless and the delivery service lacks interest ....it is the second applicance purchased from home Depot and it will be the last!!!!

    Awesome place!!! Plus I brought my new Akita puppy and it was fine!! Seriously thanks to all the employees at the North Olmsted store you people were outstanding and isn't it f#@king crazy how the PetSmart is nextdoor to you and the employees are F#@king horrible. Anyway, thanks. Silent H.

I said no, I haven't finished yet, he stood and then takes my things out of the cart and puts the trash can on top. Picks up the cart and leaves. Was it really so hard to wait a couple of minutes...
