Seriously understaffed. Expect a 15 minute wait at checkout. Examine your produce carefully: I just wasted $5 on a bag of mouldy tangerines. Better yet, go to Giant Eagle or Aldi's, both nearby, for a less aggravating shopping experience. Update: I thought maybe after 8 months they would have improved. No, sorry. Thursday afternoon I got in the checkout line at 2:47, got through checkout at 3:04. That's right: 17 minutes waiting in line. Only three registers operating, plus the poor swamped customer service desk.

This is a great Marc's. Whoever does the hiring does a great job! The employees are so nice and helpful. They have a great deli, really knowledgeable and ready to give suggestions. Their shelves are always well stocked and prices are very reasonable. I do most of my shopping here and suggest it to my friends and family. Just had one incident at the customer service desk....stood waiting while employees walked all around me until one told another clerk I was there. She sauntered over and was not nice at all, very unusual because most everyone is nice. She obviously did not enjoy her job.

The produce department is in need of some real improvement. I have to constantly check dates of packaged items because they are not monitored too well and look partially rotten. I buy my produce elsewhere nearby where everything is fresh there. There's not much to save $ by shopping here anymore. Most of their weekly ad is just products advertised at their regular price. You really have to pay attention to your prices. This Marcs does not update their shelf pricing and you end up discovering paying a higher price at the register. I started going to Giant Eagle because meat and produce are much better and I actually save much more there with their weekly sales.

This is an OK place to shop in a pinch. The North Olmsted location is one of their better locations to be fair. I only really go here now for their pharmacy and to buy pop if they have good sales. Their pharmacists are often very nice especially since I have been using this pharmacy since I was younger. There is only one older pharmacist who gives me a hard time or is short with me when I see her. Unfortunately I do not like shopping here for groceries because of their low quality meat and deli products. Their prices on their meats aren't even that much less expensive than Giant Eagle. For the extra dollar I would rather go there and at least know that my meat will taste better. My mom doesn't even like their meat and she isn't the most picky customer when it comes to quality. It is fun to look through their close outs when you have the time. I have found some hidden treasures here. Overall it isn't the cleanest place and I really don't like giving Marc Glassman our business especially after he threatened to sue my grandmother after she fell in the North Olmsted location back in 2008. Poor woman is still trying to pay off the medical bills from that fall and it was definitely not her fault as there were no wet floor signs present. Bottom line is that you can definitely get better quality food/groceries for probably even better prices if you do your homework. I also recommend looking into Marc Glassman's history if you care about fair treatment for employees and customers.

Store is laid out in a strange way forcing you to enter behind the registers meaning you are going against the traffic of the leaving parties. Slightly dirty. Presents itself as a discount store, but with regular grocery store prices.

Some of the staff really lack knowledge and don't know how to treat customers, there's aline behind me and she asks me how much is in my card and she specifies that saying the card name and a line behind me plus never ever got a cashier knows how to run wic cards ,and they act something is wrong with my card and embarrassing me by how she just flipping my card ,well actually there's sometthing really wrong with the cashiers at this location because it works anywhere else I go not shopping at this location .I could mention the cashier's name but I was raised with manners.

They are getting just as expensive here as Giant Eagle grocery store I wish they had a better selection of things they have to much of one thing and they don't carry some things at all I believe that the management just listens to what you're saying and not doing anything about complaints some of there close outs are to expensive

Five star experience from John at Marc's North Olmsted. Treated me like a VIP and walked me across the store just to help me find birthday candles and dog treats. Now that's customer service!

Cashiers are soooo slow. Don’t see how management can put t he m on the floor when they have no clue what they are doing What a joke avoid this store unless you want to stand in line for over a half hour

I’m going to be working here starting tomorrow, but to be honest it is a small store, but it needs to be remolded and cared upon. They need to have more people clean the store on the inside. And also one comment to add PLEASE BE MINDFUL OF SERVICE DOGS IN THE STORE. PS; PLEASE REMOLD YOUR STORE! IT NEEDS IT!

Excellent prices, with meats, deli, produce, grocery and close-out sections. Organized, neat, clean store, with helpful associates, supervisors and managers.

Finally remodeling. Disorganized. Closed pharmacy and added self checkout that doesn't take cash. More employees there than at registers. Target or Giant Eagle better choices now.

Love the store but lately it smells like the floors are cleaned with a sour mop. You get used to it after 10 minutes or so, but maintenance crew could do a better job. Noticed it last two or three times I visited. Thinking of going elsewhere.
