The staff was amazing, the pool area was nice. The room appeared very clean. Unfortunately, they did have bed bugs. The staff did accommodate us by drying our bags with high heat to make sure we didn't take anything home. Had they not had bed bugs I would stay again.

Overall we had a fine stay. The pros:The bed was comfortable and the room was pretty clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The workout area was surprisingly nice with many workout machines, dumbbells, yoga and medicine balls etc. There are a few restaurants in the parking lot and it is close to several stores. The cons: The breakfast was not good. We stayed 4 nights and only tried to eat it once. There was no breakfast meat (except hard boiled eggs) & few options all around. The pool was a little chilly and the hot tub is closed. We could hear people snoring in the next room. Overall it seemed a little pricey compared to other hotels I’ve stayed in.

We've stayed many times and had a great experience. This last stay, not so much. $250ea for 2 queen rooms. The carpet in one had been cut out and half replaced. There was a giant redish stain on the floor. The couch had so many stains, we put a blanket on it to sit down. The second room nothing worked. Coffee machine. Nothing for the "breakfast" except for a muffin. To bad,it's a nice convenient location for us.Probably won't be back.

The rooms here are super nice. I especially liked the well designed shower with the high-flow showerhead. You could wash a moose in that thing. The mattress was nice and firm, and the pillows weren't so soft that they envelop your head and heat up your ears. Our room was equipped with a fridge. There's a small gym with some dumbbells and the typical cardio equipment. Not much to offer for serious lifters. The pool seemed to be closed or something while we were there. That may have been a pandemic thing. Breakfast is scant. There was some cereal and yogurt. But the coffee was actually excellent. It's a bit of a drive to get breakfast from here.

Bed was comfortable and hotel was pretty clean. No hot tub permanently so it’s false advertisement. No free bottled water. Staff is weird. Pool is NOT heated. Fitness room is really nice. Overall our stay is okay.

The rooms are not bad. It's a little hard to find a comfortable room temperature with 2 different thermostats. It is on the third floor anyway. The other is the Continental breakfast. Pretty much all they have is bagels and French toast that you have to heat up no eggs or anything else hot. Other than that it wasn't that bad of a stay in a pinch.

Not terrible, but not a great value for the cost. Convenient location close to restaurants and shops. Beds are comfortable and room was clean. Bathroom was standard, but toilet paper and tissues were rough. TVs are on the smaller side and unable to connect to streaming services. Our room was located at the back of the building, close to loading docks which were loud. It was fine I guess, but I wouldn't stay here again.

Bring your slippers. The sheets were clean. The carpet was gross. Dirty and lifting. Property seems good at first glance but not well maintained. Light fixtures by couch didn't work. Bathroom floor sticky. One elevator not working. If you want breakfast, $8 to $14. Room was quiet. Just a lot of neglected maintenance.

This is supposed to be a higher quality hotel and we paid a premium rate for the room. The lobby and seating areas were nice, but our room had a broken door to the bathroom (wouldn't shut), a broken closet door that made it hard to get in and out of the bed, and a couch that was broken. There were other minor issues like frayed towels. Generally, it did not seem well maintained. I made a list to turn in at the front desk as we checked out. There was no apology for the condition of the room. The desk staff just nodded as if she had heard this type of issue before. Clearly, this was not a well kept hotel.

Check in and check out was fast and easy. Located near great food options. The room looked and smelled clean. Had good room features that you would typically expect including WiFi, microwave, fridge, etc. but also a couch, two TVs, liquid soap in the shower. Shower was hot with good pressure. Climate control worked well. Heads up for those who like breakfast: breakfast is not included with the room. But they do have complimentary coffee.

It was my two kids and I who got a king size bed with a pull out couch. We got to the first room and there were used wet washcloths still in the shower, go down to the desk and she gives us another room. We move our stuff and pull out the cushions to the couch and there is a cigarette in the couch with tobacco all over. So I go back down and she gave me another room to look at before we moved our stuff again. I go look at that one, removed the middle cushion for the pull out and another cigarette in the couch!!! I go back down And she says she is out of rooms in the hotel. Doesn’t offer to come clean it or anything. For this place having great reviews I thought it was a good place to stay the night but never again. My kids were disgusted with all the cigarettes in that place.

A nice hotel, not super fancy or expensive but good. Rooms are clean and spacious. pool and fitness center are great. Sadly no whirlpool anymore. Has on site laundry as well and a breakfast buffet available for purchase. There are a number of restaurants and such nearby. The area feels safe and has a lower than national crime rate

First, and foremost, I want to say that the staff at this location is undeniably the best their is...especially the employee Greg!! He helped me out in so many different ways, in which he stopped what he was doing to be the.most caring, kind, helpful, compassionate, and helped make it through a very difficult weekend. It's never easy for me to travel when I am by myself as it is, so with many challenges I was faced with, I felt taken care of by the entire staff. There were so many incidents out of my control, but the one constant was that I knew when I walked through the front doors of the window I would say and taken care of. I want to say thank you over and over but it sounds so repetitive. However, those are the only words to express my gratitude and appreciation, especially to Greg! He is a Saint indeed all he could to help me with my situations. My husband feels grateful as well with all that I had happened to me! I would recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, service, helpfulness, and a staff that will meet your expectations and beyond!!!

Gorgeous place! So clean and peaceful. Accessibility to everything locally. Great staff who were friendly and knowledgeable! Loved it! Better than many 4-star places I’ve stayed in!

Overall we ended up having a nice stay but it was touch and go at the beginning. We arrived at 3 p.m. (which is check-in time) and we were told that our room was not going to be ready for a bit. When I mentioned that we had a wedding to be at in 45 minutes and 3 kids to get ready, both individuals at the front desk were less than sympathetic....0 customer service. I was told to stand over to the side and check back in 10 minutes. I can understand if there is an issue with low staffing to get every room ready to go for the next guests, but to have a lack of care around it is unacceptable! Luckily, we did make it to the wedding on time....we got ready at warp speed!

We chose this hotel for the Hot tub, guess what? It's full of cement and permanent. The room was over 90 degrees and everything was unplugged - a/c lamps, fridge,tv. Definitely not ready to be occupied. Front desk just said we had to wait. After an hour no one showed up. For over 300.00 a night we were super disappointed and not ever staying there again while in town.

Really like staying at Wyndham's as the rooms are nice, beds are comfy, and it is quiet and relaxing. But please update your website for the Avon Hotel as there is some misleading information. Where it states Hot Breakfast available, it would be fair to mention to future visitors that it is not complimentary (just coffee and drinks). Also, was looking forward to that hot tub shown in the photo's...it's closed up and furniture is placed there.

Great location! They need to consider duct/ventilation cleaning for this aged hotel. The stench/mustiness/cigarette smells still circulate in the rooms. The carpets are dated and are probably retaining the odors as well. By the 3rd night we couldn’t wait to get out of there. Room ionizers would be helpful as well, until they can get to the root of the problem. In hindsight, we wish we would have found another hotel for the remainder of our stay 😫

So the stay was nice overall, friendly employees, nice bed. Gary and Craig were particularly helpful. But I won't pretend there weren't issues. There is a hot tub pictured on the website and it is concreted over. This was the main reason for our stay so that was disappointing. The room was nice, the bed was comfy. HOWEVER: the curtains DON'T CLOSE. I'm not about bright af light in my face first thing in the morning. I had an eye mask but it was still obnoxious af. It really ruined my morning. Then the breakfast isn't included it costs extra. So that was fun. Plus it ends super early. Idk. It just wasn't an AWESOME time. It was fine. Very meh. Expected better. Overall, not super upset, but definitely won't be back.

We stayed here for a marriage conference with our church. The room was average for the price. The entry light in the room was broken. There was an empty pop bottle on the floor by the bed. The bed slept well. There are restaurants & stores nearby. The coffee in the lobby didn’t taste very good. I probably wouldn’t stay here again unless I got a major discount on the rate.

We requested and got a handicapped room with a roll-in shower. That was all good. However, we noticed that the floor/shoer stall didn't not seem to be slip proof. As a result, my husband was able to use the shower, but I could not as I am a fall risk. I was very disappointed. Also, there was no breakfast available.

Relatively new build has aged quickly. Conference room AC was not working. Water was pouring through light fixture in lobby. Rooms had little sound dampening above, so you could hear noise of people above you.

We enjoyed our stay. The beds were firmer than I’m used to, but now I’m convinced I need a firm mattress. This is one of the first hotels that we’ve ever hung out in the lobby and bar. It was very welcoming. There are two outdoor seating areas with a fire at night. The lobby and bar have ample seating. Breakfast was continental, make sure you get there early. Most things were out when we got there at 9:15 and we didn’t bother the staff to see if we could get anything. Melt Bar is right next door and brunch there was perfect. Location was fantastic for us. Only a few minutes to the beach or Goodwill Bookstore or Cleveland Curiosities. This will be our go to hotel in the area now.

Great people that work there. Very good atmosphere at the bar and outside. Room is very nicely laid out and well portioned. Beds were excellent. Looking forward to our next stay at a Wyndham.

We stayed for 3 nights and housekeeping did not come in a single time, and we were gone all day without ever hanging to do not disturb sign on our door. When I told this to the front desk attendant when we were checking out she said “okay” and then asked if I wanted a printed receipt from our stay. In addition to the walls being thin/hearing everything people above and next to us did I don’t think we will stay here again.

The rooms were definitely fake fancy. The door to the room was excessively heavy, I thought it was stuck at first. There were two TVs in the room but both were very small (didn't use them so no idea how the channels were). It was mostly clean, though the shower was a little dirty. It was quiet and it is situated far enough from the road.

Toilet stopped working on the first day—was fixed in a timely manner. Shower water was not hot the first night. It improved on the second night. The AC unit sounded like a small helicopter hovering outside the window and had a constant buzzing noise. The hot tub was broken. The pool was fine. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable.

Rooms were extra spacious, clean, staff were accommodating to us, also they were very hospitable even at late hours, building is amazing, many amenities offered, and overall a great stay.

The hotel was very clean and the hotel staff were very Friendly and helpful. They are the only hotel that has ever texted me asking of there was anything they could do to improve our stay and asking us if we needed anything. I advised we needed a couple of things to replenish the room while we were out and they took care of it immediately. The pool was nice. The bathrooms are very roomy. The beds were comfortable. 10/10 I would definitely stay here again. We said when we travel, we will look for the cambria brand from now on.

Decent hotel with good service. Having a pool table in the hotel was a nice touch. Their breakfast could be improved though.

The rooms are large and clean, prices are reasonable, unfortunately the breakfast offering is lacking, but it's close large variety of stores and places to eat.
