The Wine Spot is one of those places that truly earned their nearly 5-star rating. I am fortunate enough to live in walking distance of this fine establishment, and I also recently became good friends with someone who loves wine. I, myself, really don't know anything about wine. I know too many things about too many things (Scotch, bourbon, craft beer, etc.) so I prefer to have a few things in life that I don't really know about. It's nice letting some things be a mystery. Wine is a mystery to me. It's definitely not a mystery to The Wine Spot. Every time I go in there to buy a bottle of wine for my new wine-loving friend, someone from the staff takes 5, 10, even up to 15 minutes to kindly and excitedly explain to me which wine they think my friend would like. They are budget-conscious, very discerning, and truly passionate about their recommendations. It's a delight to talk with them. One time, for a particularly special occasion, they suggested such a good wine that my friend was literally blown away and bought an entire box of that same wine the next day. Thank you guys for letting me tap into your wine-brains and utilize your knowledge to impress my friend with excellent wine! By now, I am pretty much a regular, so I will see you soon!

I had been wanting to try this spot for a while, and it was really nice. The patio out front is great and I got a sweet wine (I love sweet wine). If I went back, I might get a non wine alcoholic beverage since they only have one sweet wine. You know how people can get weird/snobby about sweet wines and their inferiority or whatever… lol. The olive and nut dish was good, but also so small (look at the pic). I would’ve paid a couple extra dollars to just get like two more handfuls of nuts or something on that plate. We ate it in about five minutes. Would like to go back and look at the wine selection and all the other doodads inside.

my first time visiting the place. My High School Reunion get together was being held there and I had to admit the beer I had was good. I definitely recommend the wine spot to anyone that enjoys a good place to chill and enjoy a glass of wine or beer.

Came in today for a glass of wine. Being a Monday afternoon, we were the only ones besides staff inside. I had the white wine flight, and was quite impressed. I thought each of the wines was well selected. I do wish that there had been some more options for by the glass wine. The staff was friendly for the most part. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful.

The Wine Spot has a chill yet sophisticated atmosphere with an incredible variety of wines and cocktails. There’s something to drink for everybody! Everyone in the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable about their products, their recommendations are always on point!

I am so glad to give the Wine Spot a stellar five star rating and a glowing review for outstanding customer service! I needed to get a gift basket for a family member who is staying in Cleveland for her husband’s surgery at a local hotel near the hospital. I knew she needed a little pick me up! Sarah, with The Wine Spot put together a beautiful gift basket with wine and treats. The owner delivered the gift basket the next day! My family member was blown away by the quality of the items in the basket and so thrilled to get a little gift to help with the stress of being far from home for such a long period of time due to the surgery. The Wine Spot is easily one of my favorite places in Cleveland. The staff is awesome, Veronica and Claire make Wednesdays really fun. Shelley always picks out complete winners, I can always trust her recommendations and my guests and fellow wine lovers are impressed. The seating inside is cozy, the wine tastings are highlights throughout the month, and my wine club subscription always keeps me on my toes. I could not recommend this place enough!

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. The tastings are cheese boards are great! They have a really unique selection on wine too. One of the best spots in Cleveland Heights.
