I
came
here
to
get
my
belly
button
pierced
and
the
first
time
I
did
I
was
told
to
get
pierced
with
a
small
bar
so
that’s
what
I
did.
When
I
had
gotten
it
done
the
bottom
was
not
visible
and
my
mother
had
asked
if
that
was
normal
and
they
said
yes
it’s
just
swollen.
A
week
later
the
top
of
the
piercing
was
inside
my
skin
scabbed
over
(I
made
sure
to
keep
my
piercing
clean,
I
wore
pajama
pants
and
leggings,
I
did
everything
I
needed
to
do),
I
did
some
reading
and
everything
I
found
said
that
due
to
swelling
you
should
get
pierced
with
a
long
bar.
So
I
went
back
in,
told
the
people
working
my
problem,
they
confirmed
that
yes
my
bar
was
too
short
and
took
out
my
piercing
and
told
me
to
come
back
once
it
was
healed
and
I
would
receive
a
free
piercing
in
return.
I
came
back
to
get
it
repierced
to
only
find
out
that
my
belly
button
wasn’t
right
for
standard
belly
button
ring,
even
though
I
was
not
told
this
the
first
time
and
was
pierced
with
the
normal
one.
I
was
fine
with
the
floating
naval,
but
the
jewelry
that
was
given
to
me
was
not
threaded
and
had
only
had
a
snap
on
top.
which
for
a
while
was
fine
but
it
had
caught
on
my
clothing
and
came
out
the
top,
without
my
knowledge,
so
if
you
were
to
get
your
floating
naval
pierced
I
would
make
sure
to
let
them
know
you
want
a
threaded
screw
on
gem.
Everyone
who
works
here
are
all
very
nice,
but
I
would
love
if
there
was
more
background
when
it
comes
to
belly
button
piercings,
I’m
hoping
that
in
the
future
they
check
peoples
belly
buttons
prior
to
payment
and
selection
of
jewelry
and
that
the
anatomy
is
taking
into
account
by
all
piercers,
because
I
was
almost
pierced
with
the
same
jewelry
as
my
first
piercing.
