    We moved into the Penthouse (unit 2015) on May 15th sight unseen. You have to sign a lease before actually seeing the unit until move in day. Thankfully they offer a 30 day move out guarantee because our unit was a NIGHTMARE. #1) Floors, doors, and trim were destroyed by prior owners two large dogs. Avalon agreed to replace the floors, but took about a week to complete as we paid our expensive lease payments. Move in was delayed a week. #2) Place looked like it was painted by a 5yr old. Over paint on walls, fixtures, switch covers, etc. #3) Nauseating Sewer Smell. More on that in a minute. #4) Noise - Paper Thin Walls. Train and city noise around the clock. Trash chute sounds like an incoming attack. #5) Garage Parking is a total joke. Building support columns right next to many narrow parking spots. I have no idea how some people parked unless they exited their vehicle from the sun roof. We had to argue to get three spots for our two cars on the top floor which took 5 minutes to get to the top floor. Thank goodness the management offers 30 days to get out of the lease, because this was the biggest nightmare of our life. The biggest problem would be random sewer smells that would wake us in the middle of the night or appear mid-day coming from the master bathroom walls. We asked the Avalon at least 4 times to send a qualified plumber to investigate, and they sent someone with a caulk gun to try to fix it. The smells were so nauseating and intense, my body told me to run far away from this place and never look back. We met our downstairs neighbors while we were moving out and they told us they had the exact same problem that led them to a hospital visit. They even called the fire department because of the nauseating sewer smells. Come to find out there were multiple people that have moved out because of the sickening sewer smells. #6) Certain AC units on the roof would vibrate when running and create a hum that was intolerable. Not sure if the rubber isolators were missing or not working right, but the sound actually made me dizzy.

    Elevator fell with a lady inside with her dog… great… Horrible management system where the corporate office tells you to work with the local team and the local team tells you to call corporate. If you ask them for anything, you are the problem. Residents generally agree the building issues stem directly from the failed management. People self tour here so expect random strangers in the hallways regularly. High turnover means the elevators are always busy or broken.

    Excellent staff and location. A few shortcomings though overall a very nice apartment. Felt like the rental agent/rep Sam was one of the best I have worked with looking at locations. Near restaurants and coffee shops downtown. Unable to rent common areas for gatherings which is unfortunate. Also common areas are not quite as nice as some other units in the area. Overall very good building.

    I was a walk in looking to view a two bedroom apartment. I was asked to fill out a card and told that a leasing manager/agent would be with me shortly. After 30 minutes of waiting the front desk attendant told me that she would not be able to see me today. Not a good first impression.

    I just moved into the Loft building after a long search all around WPB. The process could not have been more user friendly. FIrst and foremost, the amazing Sydney took me through the entire process. She is knowledgeable, works hard, super pleasant to deal with, defines excellent client service, and made everything as easy as possible for me. Did I say amazing! I had one, very small issue in the unit. Entered a maintenance request through the portal, and in a flash Tristan was there taking care of it. Again, amazing. I can't recommend Avalon enough.

    Maintenance team is amazing - Very prompt and respectful and they fix it right the first time. Tristin even showed up after-hours when our AC unit broke down and he fixed it quickly so I didn't have to sleep in a sauna. I give the maintenance team 5-stars. Overall the place is pretty solid - good amenities and location. Everything is walkable. A lot of concierge turnover but they are always pleasant. Management responds quickly and has good attitude.

    I came to see a good friend and she invited me to their Halloween party. I specifically remembered Kimora because she was pleasant and friendly; her personality is so inviting. I fell in love with the staff. I do plan on coming back to get more information about the community.

    Keeping with the Avalon standard, everyone that works here is truly amazing! A few people I wanted to name especially are Hilary, Kimora, David, and Tristan. They have each gone out of their way specifically to ensure my living experience is the best it can be! It feels like they really take pride in their work. Hilary and Kimora are always willing to help and listen to any concerns or requests and answer any questions I have. They are both excellent in explaining things and helping me understand different scenarios. Each has gone above and beyond to help me with my lease and ensure I am happy with my unit. Tristan and David are incredibly efficient, knowledgeable, helpful, and quick to respond. Tristan is always ready to share education on the way things work and why, and David has the patience of a saint. The whole concierge staff is amazing as well - they always acknowledge me when I'm passing by and say hello. They are very friendly and quick to help if needed. Working with people is tough, but each person here is committed to giving their best to us every day. Everyone has helped me adjust to Florida and feel at home, and I am happy to sign my third lease at this property with confidence that this is the right place for me. Thank you everyone!
