Beautiful beach! Has free parking, and a really nice walking trail that leads out to a dock over looking the water. They also have kayak launches, and a wheel chair accessible beach entrance. Found tons of shells and a few shark teeth. Definitely will return.

Living between Tampa and Bradenton, we have lots of options for beach days. We tend to shy away from the St Pete beaches and the AMI beach situation is absolutely dreadful for parking. In fact, several of the parking locations along Cortez and Coquina are under construction. There is simply no place to park. We opt for a more rustic, less populated, albeit a slightly farther drive, to Blind Pass on Manasota Key. Not to be confused with the Blind Pass at St Pete. Parking is plentiful but get there early (as in all beaches). I never understood why the masses wait until 11am to try and go to the beach and then complain about parking. Duh. Facility building is usually well maintained. There are no life guards here. We always set up our living room for the day along the back near one of the access points and enjoy the view for the day. Setting up back there makes it much easier for packing up and departing too. Halfway between Manasota Beach and Englewood Beach, Blind Pass is a perfect location. Especially for those awesome sunsets! And please note, we have had way more success here finding shark's teeth than we have at Caspersen or Nokomis. Just sayin'

Awesome beach, entry area plugged up with a bazillion people but you can walk 3-400' in either direction to seemingly endless open beach areas. Parking kinda sucks, you can tell no one had any thought to optimizing the parking areas which ends up with creative and unique parking happening. Overall thought great location.

Easy access with free parking just across the street. Not crowded. Clean. Kids had fun in some decent sized waves, and we found several shark tooth fossils. Would highly recommend for those looking for a beach off the beaten path.

Can scoop up sharks teeth. Plenty of parking. Restrooms and showers available. Water is so blue and pretty. We saw a small manatee and dolphins.

With Stump Pass being closed for so long after Hurricane Ian, we had to find another nearby beach with natural charm to visit on our days off. Blind Pass has spacious parking, ease of beach access and is almost as quaint as Stump Pass. The restrooms were clean, and atmosphere was just as we like it- uncrowded and full of animal life! We may have just stumbled on our new favorite beach. 😍

Beautiful beach with plenty of parking, public restrooms, and sand showers. This is our go to beach on the Gulf Coast. Fairly quiet with less tourist it seems. The bathrooms have always been well maintained when we've visited.

Looking for a quieter beach away from a lot of the touristy spots this one does well. Plenty of parking, I’ve never not found a space. Has showers and Rinsers as well. Little bit of a walk so bring the wagons if you have them. In between Englewood beach and Manasota beach. Also in back of parking there are two kayak launches. Both excellent and they feed you out into the ICW for some good kayaking.

Dude, we were touring the entire beach on our E bikes. My neighbor who has a condo in Englewood told me this is one of his favorite spots. After we rode around a little bit and saw all the way different places you can access the water I had to agree it was pretty awesome.

Nice beach! Plenty of parking, but it is a walk if it is crowded. Bathrooms are available. No foot washes here. Where the sand meets the water has a layer of shells. It can feel "Rocky" at times. No lifeguards when I was here.

Nice beach but there was a wait for parking so try to reach the park early.

FREE beach with HUGE FREE parking lot right across the street, bathrooms could be cleaner but grateful they exist, body/feet rinsing station, beautiful views with dolphins and sunsets in a grounding atmosphere

Great spot for sunset pictures! All other reviews talked about finding shark teeth. We found some great shells, no shark teeth. Sand was rough but fun to play in.

Hot, fairly busy, and wonderful. Blue sky and the smell of suntan lotion. The water was so nice. This is one of Florida's best beaches.

Blind Pass Beach is a Sun Kind of Living favorite. Located next to the Blind Pass Bridge, connecting Sanibel to Captiva, this beach is full of beauty and seashells. Be warned, swimming here can be dangerous due to the strong ocean currents! Rated as #11 of 38 things to do in Sanibel, Sun Kind of Living recommends planning a visit to Blind Pass Beach.

We have come to Blind Pass beach a few times now with our 4 kids. Yesterday, the water was beautiful and it’s definitely clearing up more lately. It’s a nice and quiet beach to relax and take younger kids.

Great place for sharks teeth! One of my all time favorite beaches. Perfect sunsets as well.

This was the best beach for our shark tooth hunting trip in October. We managed to find many, and the shells were amazing. Nice and clean beach with plenty of parking and facilities.

The beaches of SW Florida are different than those of the east coast. There is limited parking, limited access, and as a result, limited crowds. This beach is not Ft. Lauderdale, Daytona or even Clearwater. It's more like a remote beach; short span of sand before you get to the water, brush/vegetation right up the the water and shells like you can't believe. If you want to avoid the huge crowds, this is where you go. The water is beautiful, the sand super fine and cool and the scenery is great. Fisherman and sunbathers coexist here. If I only had one beach to go to, this would rank as of my my top choices. Very cool place.
