Been a guest of One World since 2008, the food is consistent and delicious. When on the go i like to stop in for a coffee and a bagel.

Today I went with the Tex-Mex Burrito, Home Fries, and fresh baked apple/almond/vanilla pastry... Oo it was all delicious! A girlfriend of mine introduced this place to me and I loved it every time I've been back! Vegan-friendly with gluten-free options, as well. If they have it available, try the vegan banana bread... So good! The pastry counter in front is always tempting! The service has always been friendly, I've been greeted with smiling faces, and I can't help but love coming back to these people. Great coffee, too! This place also introduced me to one of my new favorite hot sauce brands, local to Baltimore, Huckle's! The atmosphere is wonderful and welcoming, the seating throughout is cozy, and the food and service is top quality every time. Please stop by One World Cafe and enjoy what they have to offer! 5/5 stars from me :)

Food was good, service was good, and prices were good! Coffee is very strong (in a good way), which is great for any Coffee lover. Only criticism I have is the water cups were dirty. They were dingy with soap scum and couple tiny spots of dried food. Also I didnt realize it was a vegetarian place until we arrived, but I still would definitely return for brunch.

I have gone a handful of times, and though enjoyable, I always go expecting more and leave with a satisfactory experience. The place is poorly lit yet not in a romantic or intimate setting - either too bright or too dark. The food is as I said satisfactory. The menu descriptions can be delightful. In my personal taste the food could use more flavor, and they could be more creative with how they prepare their tofu. The hot chocolate was warm, yet simply tasted of chocolate syrup... I feel the quality and inventiveness could step up a margin, as well as the atmosphere.

I went here for brunch for the first time based on a recommendation from a local friend, and One World Cafe did not disappoint! They have a divey diner vibe and many vegan options. I ordered the vegan French toast, and it was tasty. The server was super friendly. I'm surprised it wasn't busier, but maybe it picks up during the school year.

Great coffee, fun atmosphere. I love that they cater to everyone from college students to families to single adults just looking to hang out and get some caffeine. I cannot believe that this place is walking distance from me and I waited a whole year to go there!

Nice vegetarian and vegan cafe! The beyond burger wasn't anything special, but the French toast and the coffees were very yummy. This is a sweet place to have brunch or lunch right off campus!

Can't say enough great things!!! Food is fantastic. Service is warm and friendly. Atmosphere has a great vibe. Whether you are vegan, vegetarian or just looking for a great place to eat...highly recommend!! None of us have ever gotten something we haven't liked. My husband loves the tofu scrambler and he isn't vegetarian or vegan! Brunch is always great.

Right by the wonderful school I graduated from (JHU- wink). I was looking for great vegan food on a Sunday morning and found it. I had the Vegan loaded french toast and some fakin-bacon. Loved it! My wife had some non-vegan options and opted out for a loaded egg scramble. I will be back yall!!!

Cute little spot with a ton of vegan options which make me happy. On this day I got the vegan ruben. Previously I have ordered the pancakes, tofu scrambler, and other dishes that the chef changes weekly. A truly wonderful place.

Been a regular for years, love this place for it's amazing vegan and vegetarian menu. Everything is amazing! The best part are the breakfast and dinner specials so you always have something new to try. The owners are amazingly hospitable! Highly recommend!

Today, during my visit to this cafe, I encountered some difficulty with the weekend staff. I found their behavior to be quite rude and unprofessional, and it seemed as though their actions were motivated by racial bias, which made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected. In contrast, the staff during weekday evenings are always kind and helpful. I believe that everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity, regardless of the day of the week or the time of day, and I hope that the staff can be reminded of this important value.

This restaurant is great, but literally never try to order it online or they will just cancel your order. Have tried many times, have never gotten food. Just go offline if you're not going to sell food online.

Great service. Our server was kind, knowledgeable, and prompt. Great vegetarian options. Loved my faux crab cakes--they tasted like the real thing for half the price. Super bar there too.

I had the eggplant sandwich/ wrap it didn’t have much flavor at all unfortunately, but their vegan banana bread was to die for. One of the larger vegan restaurants that I’ve seen in awhile, complete with a back area for private events it seems. A mixed bag - might try again..

Excellent Philly Cheese “Steak,” made in accordance with the art of the grill. Fresh ingredients. Supple, fresh bread. Should have checked this place out years ago. To the manager/owner: consider a no-bean chili with tofu crumbles. Cook up a small batch and taste it. No-bean chilli is a lost art.

My mom got the pumpkin French toast and she absolutely loved it. She was in awe. I am gluten and dairy free and was delighted to see all the options I had. I ended up getting the impossible burger with gluten free bread and soy cheese. It came with chips and salsa. It was fantastic. We also got the hummus as an appetizer and it was awesome. Highly recommend! Hidden gem.

Went on a Friday morning for brunch. It was not busy. The staff, nicely, allowed us to sit in a closed section. I had the huevos ranchero. It was light and refreshing. They gave a healthy portion of guacamole. The elements didn’t blend into a mash of flavor; rather, it could taste the tortilla to eggs to beans, even the little crunch and flavor of the lettuce. Also, I love the size of the latte. I’m usually a black coffee drinker, so I would have preferred a little less milk.

I am so taken a back by the behavior and lack of customer care and service I just watched from an older black woman with a ponytail, who works behind the bar. A delivery driver walked in trying to get two orders. Yet you could tell there was a language barrier because he started the conversation with a hi and pointed to his phone . She walked away as he was trying to show him something and dropped the food off to him with an attitude. He then tried to explain that it was two she said “ look at me look at me” with an attitude and picked up one order and the second and walked away while he was speaking. I felt her attitude and demeanor towards him was very negative and unpleasant for no reason. Everyone should be treated the same and he was not. Maybe she should be trained again in customer care.

This place is amazing. Food is good and atmosphere is better yet. Great personalities and very attentive to your needs. Small business that I recommend visiting. Definitely won’t be disappointed. Looks like a small place from the outside but definitely is very roomy inside!!

Nice ambience, very earthy 🌎 down home feeling. Intimate and comfortable seating. The staff is phenomenal and cheerful. I enjoyed the Vegan Chilli bowl 🍜 along with the ginger tofu with veggies. Sorry didn't have my phone 📱 to take pictures of my meal nor the cafe. It's a bit in the pricy side, however it's a Baltimore staple and enjoy SUPPORTING QUALITY local businesses....and well . One World Cafe meets this exception. My 1st time visiting but it won't be my last. 🌍💚🌍💕

Best vegetarian and vegan food in Baltimore. This is the one place where everyone in our vegetarian/vegan household can be very satisfied ordering all kinds of things. We order what we want that day and then get a whole bunch of sides to take home for the next few days. And the service is excellent. Wonderful crew. They always want to be sure our food is great and we are happy. Don’t forget to grab some vegan cupcakes for dessert.

Best vegetarian eggplant gyro! Grilled to perfection. The staff was so nice and welcoming. I drove by this spot for many years. I always thought it was a coffee shop. I will now become a regular customer. I intend to try the weekend brunch soon

Visiting from NJ and was told about this place and glad I went! We ordered the special of the day, chickpea soup and their Philly with fries. Everything was freaking delicious!!!! We left but came back to get dessert I got their vegan cupcake which was stale and old unfortunately but their banana bread was very good so not sure what happened with the cupcake. Great place nonetheless friendly staff so I’ll definitely will return when I come to visit again

I love this place. I’ve had the seitan cheese steak a couple of times and I really liked it. My wife got the tofu club which she loved. My daughter got the veggie meatball sub, which we ALL loved. The meatballs are house made from tofu and walnuts. I’ve eaten many varieties of store bought veggie meatballs. These were maybe the best I’ve ever had. I highly recommend this place for the vegetarian and vegan menu options.

Hadn't been here in years, but it holds a special place in my memory as the first place I had a vegan cheesesteak and sloppy joe. The cheesesteak tastes a little different than I remember, but now I know this as a go-to place for cake. I've had the vegan lemon vanilla and a non-vegan chocolate layer (I think). Both were bomb. Also tried the reuben sandwich which was a lot, but worth trying again.

I enjoyed my visit, but I was limited in my menu selections due to their choice of meatless meals. But, I did find the place welcoming, and my lunch was very tasty.

Horrible experience. Not sure if the manager is racist or just lacks manners in general. She is unethical for sure. The menu that they gave us described tofu scrambler to be served with toast and fries, which made us choose it over other options. When we didn't receive any fries with it, we mentioned to the server who casually replied that the menu is old and they don't serve fries with it anymore. She told us that we would be charged if we want fries. Appalled by this unethical take towards the situation, we requested to talk to the manager. The manager talked to us very rudely, again reiterating the excuse given by the server. It would have been tolerable if it was only this. Next, she said in a very condescending tone that if we were really "desperate" for fries, she can get us some. We were in shock and thought we misheard. But she repeated herself and made it clear that she has no respect for us as customers. We could just nod at the time. When she left, I got the time to process what had just happened. They then served us with what can be only described as a sorry excuse of an order of fries. Few pieces of burnt fried potatoes in a small plate (picture attached). My partner and I paid immediately and left without touching the food. We refuse to eat at a restaurant that undermines our dignity. This awful experience forced me to write my first ever Google review of a restaurant.
