The park is fenced-in, which is great for smaller kids. There's a decent amount of parking, seating surrounding the splash pad area, and a playground just outside the splash pad. The slide is the main attraction here. The kids LOVE it. There are also water features for younger kids and one interactive feature too. It's a nice little area for hot days. Plus, it's free, so you can't beat that. There's a slushie truck outside the fence, but I hardly ever see it open during school time. I'm sure it's packed here in the summer, though.

There are no signs posted saying if there is a birthday party, no one else is allowed in. Nothing is posted on the “back” gate that says “do not enter“ it only lists the hours of operation. (ha, the gate everyone sees from the parking lot 👍) so if you go in the back way, instead of telling you that you came in the “wrong” way, they tell you they’re “cleaning” the spray ground, wait for you to walk out and then shut the gate behind you and say “we’re at capacity. You can’t come in.” Why even lie about it? You could explain it like an adult so I can explain it to my children, instead of telling an autistic child he can come back in 5 minutes, and then locking him out to cry because he doesn’t understand what he did wrong. I realize these “life guards” are teenagers but you’d think they would have common decency. There is also no sign posting what capacity is. 🙄 I understand why the rule exists, my complaint is them lying about it instead of telling us why. Pic for reference, looking real at capacity. 👍 Wasn’t more than 15 people in there. They had a birthday party under the shelter that MIGHT all use the spray ground at once, which would make it at capacity. Nothing in the rules about making a reservation. “First come first serve” apparently isn’t true. Nothing on the back gate saying it’s the wrong entrance. Do better.

This is one of the best spray parks in tampa Bay. Lots of things to do. Also has a slide. Doesnt cost anything to use. There is a playground near by with coverage. They have a bathroom building near the baseball field and there are swings. You can rent a pavilion or grab a picnic table. Lots of fun!

Great summer place for kids to play. In Florida it is tough sometime to find outdoor activities in the summer where your not sweltering . The splash park is very nice and clean , our kids love it. They can cool down a bit and then go play on play ground . Great way to beat the heat and let the little ones run around!

The kids always have such a fun time here, and best of all, it’s free. Three park areas for kids in Highlander if the kids want to dry out, and plenty of parking for each. We love the variety of recreational areas available for kids in Dunedin!

It's a very fun place to be, a great cool off on a hot day! Lots of different water features here as well. Picnic tables, most under a canopy are available. Bathroom is very far unless you also pay to use Highlander pool next door. Benches inside splash pad area and lifeguard on duty. Pretty accessible as well, my friend has a blast here with their scooter. Kona ice outside in the summer and on weekends during school year let's you pick your flavors and pour your syrup yourself.

My daughter loved this splash park. I love that more and being added to the area. I think we should continue to add them. This one was the biggest I have been to, and we loved it. I'll definitely will be bringing her back again.
