Nice atmosphere, clean, and friendly staff. Awesome mozzarella sticks with a good marinara. Loved the garlic bread and Pizza was on point. Saw someone with their spaghetti and it looked delicious. I went during the absolute busiest time so service was a little off, but again it was "rush hour". Overall good experience with quality food.

Found this little gem on Maps when looking for a different pizza joint to visit because our regular place is closed on Mondays. It is right down the road from where we are staying so we figured why not. We are very glad we went. It was packed for 5pm on a random Monday but we didn't wait long. Turned out that Mon. and Tue. is half off pizza day! It was very good! We did Not finish and took the leftovers to go. Our server, Nicole, was awesome! Friendly, prompt, and gave great advice on what to order and how to warm up our leftovers when she found out we are just visiting from Chicago. Got a super large pizza with pepperoni, green pepper, and onion and chicken alfredo which came with a choice of soup or salad. I got the salad and it was very good. The "bread" they serve to the table was delicious. Pretty sure it is made of the pizza dough smothered in butter, garlic, herbs and cheese. And they presented the fact that if you pay cash you save/ don't get charged the credit card surcharge,,, unlike another place we visited that had signs that said "discount for cash paying customers". When it really WAS NOT a discount, you just don't pay the credit card fee. Discount is Not the right way to phrase it. But Luigi's is doing it right and doing the pizza well! And again, we're from Chicago where the Best pizza comes from. So if you are in the Port Charlotte, North Port, Punta Gorda area, visit Luigi's. You won't be disappointed and you will NOT go home hungry!

This was my first time going to Luigi's. Actually, I found it accidentally looking online for a good burger in the area, and for some reason Luigi's popped up. I think I clicked on the website out of curiosity about burgers at at a pizzeria. As soon as I entered the website, their specials were across the top, and saw that the pizza is 1/2 off on Monday. Wow...that's a great deal, so I thought I'd give them a try. They recommend using the app, which I downloaded & signed up. Unfortunately, it wasn't giving me the 1/2 off price, though it WAS showing the 1/2 off price in my cart. Frustrated, I then tried ordering via their website. Exact same problem, so I just ended up calling it in. It was obvious that the hostess (assuming that's who answered the phone) was very busy, and very frustrated herself with having to answer all these calls that should have been taken online. I gave her my order...Extra large NY with extra cheese & onion on all, and pepperoni & banana peppers on half. I have no idea where she got the price she gave me of $11.40. It should have been $13.50...but again, she was obviously very busy. When I got there to pick it up, it was 7:15, and they were very busy. I stood at the hostess stand for about 5 minutes before someone came over to direct me to the bar for my pizza. The bartender was busy as well, but at least the hostess gave me a smile & a hello. Not the bartender. Unhappy with all the to-go pizzas on 1/2 off night? Probably. And it did cost her a tip from me. Being in the service business myself, it should never matter how busy or unhappy you are at the moment....a smile goes a long way!! The pizza itself had a good taste to it, which was probably the sauce. As you can see in the photo, it was way too greasy..which of course made it soggy on the bottom. I didn't like the tiny diced onions, as you could hardly tell that they were on there. Perfect amount of cheese, in my opinion, but with the pricing being off, I'm not sure if that was the normal amount of cheese that they put on, or if that was extra cheese. The toppings were inconsistent. There was like 2 slices of banana peppers, but the pepperoni was 2-deep. All in all...for $11.40, it was a great fast dinner and I will probably give it another try on a 1/2 off Monday. Now, had I paid the normal price of $27, I would not have been happy at all with the pizza. However, that's not to say that other things on the menu aren't fantastic. I'm here in PC to stay, so I look forward to one day dining in and giving something else a try!

AND THE SIZE, FOURTEEN DOLLARS!! for something a little bigger than my wallet!! Pizza dough/bread barely palatable!!......someone from this placed asked: "did you ordered it well done"? Is this STEAK!!!???

Worse pizza ever. No value for what you pay for. Even half price pizza night had poor value and I spent over $35 for 2 people. Service was a little slow yet friendly. There medium 12" pizza was really about 10". Items were skimpy and we paid for each item, we didn't get a specialty pizza.

Stopped by to grab my kiddo some pizza by the slice and man, I can say the quality is superb. I'm fairly new to the area, and finding a good za spot is a challenge anywhere you go. The crust is delicious (that great quality cracker flavor), the sauce looks homemade, and the toppings are decent. This was a pit stop visit today, but will definitely check it out again soon! I would've taken a pic, but stopped by on a way to an appointment.

Not impressed. Pizza was super greasy. Got charged $11 for 4 shrimp. Walked away with a $40 bill and still hungry. Edit: Dropped from two stars to one due to the snarky response from the owner. Also, no, I didnโ€™t say anything to the manager. A lot of reviews state the same thing... โ€œsoggy, greasy, and overpricedโ€. This is a problem with the how the staff is trained and the way they are required to present the food, which is a problem with the owner, not the manager on duty or any particular cook. The prices are also a problem the owner has to handle, not the manager. If customers are unhappy with your prices and management has to apologize for the lack of quantity, that puts the manager in a spot which requires them to apologize on your behalf for something they have no control over. Seriously, the coconut shrimp is $11 for 4 shrimp, and theyโ€™re not even big! Itโ€™s 2/3 breading! Compare the size of the tail to the amount of breading and itโ€™s obvious. Furthermore, the fact that the owner of the company has the audacity to respond in such a way as โ€œgoogle canโ€™t help youโ€ is embarrassing. Shame on you! If you had been kind and understanding instead of replying to every criticism with a bad attitude you may have had a chance to save some of your customers. Lastly, your menu is like 6 pages long in small print. No wonder your kitchen staff is putting out sub par food! They have to cover so many different things theyโ€™re overwhelmed and cannot keep up with it! Cut the clutter out of your menu, retrain your staff on the new menu, and price things like you actually care about your customers... then maybe, just maybe, you might have a chance of becoming a successful company instead of a hole in the wall, over priced, poorly managed, corner store pizza joint.

I had an absolutely delightful experience at Luigi's Pizzeria during lunchtime. My friend and I were treated to a fantastic lunch special that included two mouthwatering entrees, a delectable appetizer, and the choice of a soup or salad. I opted for the eggplant parmigiana accompanied by the Italian Wedding soup, while my companion relished the spaghetti and meatball paired with a creamy potato soup. Our server, Kelly, added an extra layer of charm to our meal. She promptly served us with warm, freshly baked garlic bread, setting the stage for a memorable dining experience. Our soups arrived promptly after, and my goodness, the flavors were out of this world. The Italian Wedding soup had a rich, homemade taste that transported me to a cherished family kitchen. It had one of those multi-generational homemade family recipe to it, sooo delicious! When the entrees were served, I was once again blown away. The eggplant parmigiana was a symphony of flavors, robust and bursting with authentic Italian taste. My only request would be for the outer breading to have a crispier texture to it, but otherwise just perfect. Not only was the food exquisite, but the portions were also incredibly generous. I was pleasantly surprised to find myself with enough leftovers to enjoy for two more meals. Without a doubt, I wholeheartedly endorse Luigi's Pizzeria. The level of culinary craftsmanship and attention to flavor is truly commendable. I've heard they offer a special on pizzas every Monday, and I am eagerly anticipating the opportunity to savor their pizza creations. Luigi's Pizzeria has earned a special place in my list of favorite eateries, and I can't wait to return for another culinary adventure.

Gluten free pizza now cauliflower. Burnt, no taste. Loved the old gf pizza. Also, no sauce except for several dots. Same for extra thin crust. No taste. Don't know what happened. We loved this place for years! Drive 15 miles, past other pizza places. Very disappointed.

The food and drinks were pretty good. We ordered drinks for while we waited for our food. We ordered our food to go with the bartender. She seemed a little annoyed when I asked if I could put in a to go order with her. I Ordered 4 meals. 3 of them came out great. My meal was a sub. I told the bartender the specific toppings I wanted on my sub due to dietary restrictions. (Cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, banana peppers and mustard. There were no tomatoes and no mustard and they added oil which I did not ask for. I specifically ordered a sub because I thought that was probably one of the very few items I could order that wouldn't have oil on it. I ate half of the sandwich before I realized they had put the oil all over it. I was in the bathroom all night long.

Went on a Monday for the pizza special. Wait wasn't near as long as the hostess said it would be. Has a drink at the bar. Bartender was awesome. Service was excellent all around. Pizza was fantastic. Really good Italian sausage. We will be back.

Luigiโ€™s Pizzeria of SW Fla is incredible. Their specials are great values and their menu is full of flavors and foods to satisfy any craving. The large Antipasto salad fed 4 of us easily and had all kinds of great and plentiful toppings Their included hot buttered bread loaf was amazing. The pizzas were delicious. The pastas were aldente and sauce was a classic Italian done right. Laura is a server who is on the ball. Keeps your glasses full, your needs met and your experience a good one. EAT HERE if you make it to Port Charlotte!! You can thank me after.

Dinner last night... Food was not good this time around. My boyfriend said spaghetti and meatballs were pretty dry like it sat under the heat light for quite a while. I myself have never seen or tasted chicken francaise like theirs. There was hardly any lemon taste and I was overwhelmed with a greasy, oily taste from being breaded and deep fried, I barely found the chicken there was so much breading. I sent it back and asked for muscles marinara and received muscles on a bed of linguini with very large cuts of onions and tomatoes that were not cooked very much. It was in a white sauce which actually was pretty tasty but not what I asked for. Hmm, I thought marinara was red! Oh and if you're thinking about the chicken or veal Marsala, it's not Marsala sauce it's brown gravy and doesn't taste anything like Marsala wine. Besides that, the service was pretty good, but we probably won't go back again, too many other Italian restaurants around.

We have been loyal customers of Luigis for over ten years. Always appreciated the lunch discounts and Monday half price pizza. We love your anti-pasta salad. We were disappointed that the lunch discount was discontinued and now the price is almost double. Our small works pizza was served on paper plates which made the crust very soggy. Ingredients seemed light. Your quality has always been excellent. Hope to see it back that way.

Edit: We no longer eat here. The service has always been bad but it's too a point now where the atmosphere is mostly unenjoyable. Most of the waitresses seem miserable which probably says more about management than the waitresses. They also don't care at all about the quality of your food. We ordered pizzas to go and when we got there the pizzas were made incorrectly. The lady said she saw they weren't right but was hoping we'd be okay with them. They literally didn't want to make new ones and wanted us to take the incorrect pizzas. Pioneers pizza is nearly right across the street and has equally good food. We go there now instead. Food is excellent. Service is not. Most of the servers seem like they don't want to be there. They probably don't but it's their job to take care of the customer and make them feel welcome. Food typically comes out slow but it's worth the wait.

Wanted this to be a great experience so I would have a favorite place to unwind. The pizza was good. I ordered from parking lot and was told 25 minutes, decided to go into the bar and wait with a drink. Bartender looked at my sister and myself several times from the other end of the bar, but mostly glances. Never welcomed us, never asked us if we want a drink, intentionally did not engage us. Was not busy, just stacking glasses and checking a few people out. She disappeared after 22 minutes. Another bartender came to the bar area and asked us right away if we have been helped. We only had three minutes until our order would be ready so we just gave her our name for our order. She brought it to us and was friendly. I left a tip specifically for her, by name, on the cc receipt. Walked out to the car and just outside the door the bartender who ignored us was smoking and was sure to say โ€œgoodbyeโ€ as if she finally decided to be friendly, too late.

We like Luigi's. This past Saturday my wife ordered Chicken Marsala. The chicken and pasta was good. The Marsala Sauce appeared to have been thickened with cornstarch? There were congealed globs of gelatin-like substance. We pointed this out to our wait staff and they took a sample back to the kitchen to show the cook. The flavor of the sauce was not a 'classic Marsala', it seemed to be a commercial product that wasn't prepared correctly. The mushrooms seemed to be canned! We didn't send it back because it wasn't a 'deal breaker'. Please make the Marsala Sauce from scratch, it's very simple and quick. We will be back.

One of my favorite places to eat, but the service is poor at best, sat at out table for 20 minutes with out a waitress even saying she'd be right with us. No one training the new waitress at all. Sad situation, may not even come back. Got nothing but excuses.

Casual Italian restaurant with an extensive menu. Very large portions came out nice and hot and very quickly. The garlic butter on the rolls made them delicious and choice of soup or salad. The Italian wedding soup was great. Not much of a wine selection, only the house brand. But I went for the food, not the drinks.

Great traditional family Italian. Tried the meatball parm sub and it was fantastic. Good sauce and flavorful meatballs. Fries were piping hot and crisp. Had to try a slice of cheese and glad I did. Good dough and tasty sauce.

We came by about a week ago and the line was wrapped around the building. We anticipated a great Italian dinner, but were disappointed. I had the penne vodka and it was very bland. My date had the chicken parm, which he said was good. Wondering if this place is just better at pizza.....

We had been wanting to go here for a while and finally had family in town and we went to Luigi recently while they were here. The food was good and portions were generous. Chicken parmigiana was good, the trio was good, and we tried the pizza which was good. The garlic bread was wonderful, and you know what, we chose the summer special which included one of several appetizers; and we ordered wings. The wings were amazing! The wings were crispy and plentiful, likewise the wonderful garlic rolls were the best. I would recommend this restaurant and will definitely go back. I like the atmosphere at Donatos a little better because it is a bit more private and quaint.

Bread was soaking wet. Sandwich was greased apart in pieces before even picking it up. Asked multiple times for no mozzarella cheese and sub was covered in it anyways. Not the first time order has been entirely incorrect after waiting on hold for 20 plus minutes. I won't waste 60 dollars again and won't embarrass the restaurant by uploading photos of the sandwiches

Have been here several times when busy and not so busy. Have had great service by host and waitress. Very hard to find a good Italian eatery. This is a good place and the food is always hot and delicious. Had Pizza and other meals. This is our forever Italian Restaurant in Fl. We have a favorite in NY too and NJ. Thanks for all the hard work it takes to open and serve customers with menu and your waitstaff we never have had poor service. Always great. Thanks. Will always be back Tom And Donna. Brought my brother here from NY. He loved it.

Food is not that good. Boneless hot wings are not crispy nor spicy and they were chicken tenders. The Stromboli is basically a calzone and the mozzarella sticks are not cheezy or crispy and they also don't taste good. Don't forget googles prices are wrong your going to have to use there website for the correct prices.

Ordered Fettuccine Alfredo $17 added chicken $4. Noodles were over cooked, sauce was spectacular and there was only a couple tiny pieces of chicken. Garlic bread was perfect. Portion was large enough to feed two except for chicken. Never been here before and I will eat inside next time as the atmosphere was fantastic and servers were on top of their jobs. 4 stars, come sit and enjoy a terrific meal.

Two out of three ain't bad? Hands down most delicious Italian food in the area(I'm Italian,I don't often applaud Italian restaurants). We got a cold, messy order delivered once... not enough to keep us from going back again at some point. We've had pizza and lasagna from this restaurant.

Kitchen cleanliness mediocre, Prime Rib outside had flavor, didn't have any rare ! Was dry. The sides they served, salad to much, i couldn't eat the mashed potatoes or the veggies, no flavor. Waitress on Saturday night she was ok. But have been their once before for Prime Rib and it was better than this last time. Honestly for a $36 Prime rib not worth it. And the sides were just poor quality.

My family has eaten here for years and they have the best pizza by far. The prices are great and they offer special deals on different days of the week. We recently tried one of their newer additions to the menu, mini garlic knots, they are amazing!! Much better than the original bread they had. I've been living in Port Charlotte for about 1011 years And no food there has been consistently getting better if that was something Possible first of all Calamari or the Italian word galamad Is very hard to find consistent and made correctly I get that without even a second thought from there for as long as I have been going there 10 to 11 years and it's always great I tried chicken piccata the other day and I used to have a pizzeria Restaurant in New Jersey in East Brunswick They made it as good as I have ever made it So whatever they're doing their keep it up kudos to you very hard to find good Italian food And to be consistent Highly recommend
