This place is amazing, so authentic. The wine and cheese guy up front is so nice and knowledgeable. Ms. Gina is very welcoming. The deli has a great variety and the imported pasta is as close to the kind you would find in a kitchen in the boot. Always love stopping here.

I'm Italian and so is Tony's. It feels like the 50s on federal hill once you step into the place. A little hint; if you like coffee you must get Lavaza brand. Pricey yes but worth it ....... Yes! At the counter pick up some very flavorful biscotti. The imports the cheeses the cold cuts the beautiful aromas what's not to like. My grandmother would love it and she probably did. Ciao!!

Old style Italian deli in the federal hill area of providence. Made to order grinders, really delicious. Definitely coming back.

We stopped in at Tony's colonial on Columbus day weekend for a quick bite to eat. We came at the end of the festival on the last night. I'm sure it had been a long day, but the staff was super nice and the food was excellent. We got an order of arancini and eggplant Parm. They where both excellent.

Great local Italian grocery store. Some of the imported items are on the pricier side, but that’s to be expected. I love their fresh baked daily sandwich rolls. And the owner, Gina, is very kind and goes out of her way to make sure you find everything you’re looking for.

Tony's colonial food and Deli has been around as long as I can remember. It's it's at the end of Atwells Avenue right across from another Deli called Roma. Tony's Cooks the food right in front of you there or prepares food and usually has a couple really nice people serving you from behind the deli. This is Italian at its finest for Federal Hill at a deli. You can get quite a few varieties of olive oils spaghettis Italian spices breads, and much of it is ready to eat. A definite Stop on Federal Hill.

Place was amazing. The help was great and you could tell this is one of the best and most authentic of its kind. It made me happy to see another Italian-American community outside NY flourishing.

Very nice place, great selection of salads, hams, pasta etc. Italian wine, olive oil and pasta. Very pleased with the quality of the products.

Love shopping at Tony's Colonial. They have the best selection of pasta, olive oil and everything Italian. One of the few places that has stuffed zucchini flowers!! Their made to order deli sandwiches are awesome, and they offer indoor and outdoor seating.

I enjoy going here every few months. I choose a wide collection of their prepared foods, some marinara sauce, parmsean and bread. Invite people over for an Italian banquet. Good stuff A staff member was very kind yo carry box to my car, much appreciated as my back was pretty sore

The staff here are as wonderful as the food is perfect every time. Picked up sauce, meatballs and pesto for my mom's 85th birthday party. For years and years, I have always had every confidence that every delicious bite I pick up from Tony's will be savored by everyone at the table and extra servings will be needed!!! The staff couldn't be more helpful and delightful! I look forward to my trips down to the Hill to restock! Bravo! It couldn't be better!!!

Best Lobster Ravioli and meatballs I've ever had. Super organized and friendly staff.

My go to Italian deli in Federal Hill. They have an adjacent parking lot and very good food. Their Balsamic marinated mushrooms are to swoon over, the pizza is excellent, and their Lasagna and eggplant parm are wonderful. This would be a five star review if the prices weren't so high.

Authentic Italian cuisine. Perfect for nights that you don't feel like cooking. I don't cook Italian so I prefer to let them do it for me! Thanks to other chefs I know great Italian...this is great Italian!

A must visit if in Providence. I love this Italian market. The perfect place to pick something up for dinner and the staff is amazing. Lots of variety as well. Pre-made foods as well as ingredients to cook at home as well!

I lived in Italy for four years and their selection brought me back to that time. The staff is super friendly and we discussed Italian travel while in there. Great wine selection and an even better meat and cheese selection.

Great place. Sandwiches are delicious! Prosciutto with artichokes and sharp provolone sub is my favorite.

Our favorite Italian grocery in Providence! Family run great staff, great selection and before the holidays it's even better. LOTS of different brands and types of Gluten Free pastas, the good imported stuff you can't get at a regular grocery. They are taking care to label GF foods and Gina at the counter can answer if you're unsure.

Great bread and desserts. There's also a pint of Bolognese sauce that's excellent $13.95... worth it.

Italian grinder was good quality, but at nearly $15, a little too pricey for such a small amount of food.

The smell of the food is so wonderful. Everyone is very friendly. However, it's a little expensive. Found exact same items, and brands elsewhere for less. But the atmosphere makes it worth it.

I’ve been going there for decades! The place is immaculately clean! But it smells like your in a neighborhood market in sunny Naples! Pasta Fagioli is the best! Next Rabe! Then eggplant parmigiana. It goes on and on. They have a new and very friendly counter clerk born and in Sicily and raised in Italy. Her English is flawless but you can tell right away “she’s not from Rhode Island” as people say here! She knows her stuff so ask her what she likes today!

Tony's is phenomenal! The food is always fresh and made with love. Very inviting, they make you feel like family.

Amazing, high-quality gourmet Italian food! Service is wonderful. Everyone was so welcoming! A real authentic Italian experience. Can’t wait to eat there again! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!!

Amazing deli sandwiches...very friendly staff and authentic Italian vibes...one of the owners (I'm guessing) even brought a small glass of wine to try.

I have my favorites here. The castelveltrano olives are so good, the link vodka gnocchi, prepared eggplant, grilled veggies and all of the foods there are deliciously and freshly prepared. I go with my dog often, and she gets a sample of something too. The wine they sell is really nice and there is always specials. Even the occasional wine and cheese tasting!
