In RI for the week from Dallas and had to come here to get my fried clams fix. As perfect as I remember.

Hideous. Went on victory day Monday evening after 5pm. We were 4 people hit corner table. Terrible receiving, waitress and food. Waitress brought lemon in her hands after being asked twice. I could sue you to the department of health for something like that. Food was terrible for the 4 dishes. Waited 1 hr for the dishes to come, waitress lady never kept us updated throughout the time. Risotto was badly cooked and therefore was returned completely, salmon was cold with the salad, you are supposed to serve it warm/hot. Chicken wasn't fresh but tasted aged and the ground beef was sausage. We paid for only two dishes and still regret giving tip for terrible service. Do not know who the waitress was but she and cook should probably be fired along with management for using the ingredients that are not (sausage),learn what ground beef is and how it should taste. You should be ashamed.

I'm Back for my eggplant Rollatini!! 10/03 2021..My latest update My Birthday Dinner, 08/14 2020 6pm!!! great food, great prices. nice people, they never forget my b-day they give me a free Dinner, when you sign up for the bday club and email specials..cant beat that.....I was there sat,night food and service is great....Just Stopped By Last Week11/10/2018, I had some delicous Eggplant Rollatelli, It Was GRRRREAT as Usual. Service Is Consistent, clean Atmosphere.. I'LL Be Back... came by tonight, great as usual.12/22/18,wife had mestlome special,it was huge , I Had ultimate Nacho's,and greek flat bread.it was fantastic,grest service.you know I'll be back.loved It! My go to place on any night.so Glad there open again at social distancing.I enjoyed my eggplant Rolatini.and my girlfriend enjoyed her chicken gorgonzola dish!! service was fantastic as usual.the place was still exceptionally clean as usual!! First time at Atwood Grill. Hostess and server Natalie were very pleasant and friendly. Usually enjoy sitting at a restaurant bar, but heard that the regulars arrive very early and have their usual bar seats, so sat at a booth. Lots of choices on the menu for reasonable prices, but they make up for it with the wine. I paid $25.00 for two glasses of chardonnay. My husband ordered lasagna, but was told they didn't have any, so he ordered chili. Wrong choice...way too sweet. Stuffed clams were Ok, but stuffing tasted sweet, too. And I would have enjoyed the stuffed chicken parmesan, but the tomato sauce on the chicken and the pasta was too sweet, so we left a lot of food. A good sauce is the secret to Italian food. Leave out the sugar or whatever the chef is using to make it so sweet! My husband did enjoy the snail salad appetizer, though. That was a good start. And the couple sitting across from us ordered a meal that they said is the best thing there...egg battered chicken with a lemon wine sauce, and it looked good. Probably won't be back.

If you like a bartender that complains in front of customers and serves people that come in after you first because she knows them, then Gina is the bartender for you. My husband and I were sitting at the bar and she made us move our seats twice to make room for the people that she knew. Horrible customer service. There are so many better restaurants out there.

Had dinner and drinks, great blueberry beer and red wine. The veal parm was amazing, there was a little too much ricotta for my taste, but the flavor profile was good.

Horrible service. We were next to be seated until family of the hostess came in and they were seated before us. Waitress took our order and came back with my salad with the wrong dressing, she said she would be right back. So i sat looking at my salad for 10 minutes before the bus person came to take my husbands soup bowl and i asked her for the dressing and she got it. When waitress finally brought our food i told her the bus person brought the dressing, she kinda shrugged it off and said "oh sorry, i forgot". She also took the bread and asked if we wanted dessert before i was even done. This was our 3 time here and now the last time.

Understaffed, servers did their best but restaurant felt run down, smelly, sticky, dirty. Is it the price? The portion size? I don’t get it. The food was descent but that’s not enough to come back

The Atwood grill is an adorable and reasonably priced place with plenty of parking. Despite the long waiting time for our food, it was overall a good experience. I came here with my mom for lunch, we ordered the seafood lunch special which was a deliciously seasoned mahi mahi and every bite was flavorful, and the meatloaf with mushroom gravy, and there were no complaints. Our hostess and waitress were very attentive and sweet to us. I recommend you stop in, there are plenty of items on this huge menu to choose from, especially for picky eaters. It's a cute place to take your family, a date, or just yourself.

I have been going here for years. The food, Italian or sea food is always delicious! The dinner portions are big. You won't be disappointed!!

Went for lunch and was quickly seated. Good service and drinks and food delivered quick. Ample portion as i needed a to go box for the greek wrap and fries i ordered.

Always love coming here! Miss Lauren working here, but the other waitresses are pretty nice too lol. Very reasonable prices and specials! Make sure to get there early because it's always completely full 30 minutes after they open lol

Had a wonderful date with my husband here. We got seated right away, our waitress was friendly. For the appetizer we ordered bruschetta. It was so good and you could literally taste how fresh everything was. I ordered the Chef’s special which was a beef stroganoff with prime rib, imported and domestic mushrooms with pappardelle. I was amazing!

We ordered takeout. Only problem was there was a .50 cent up charge for EVERYTHING we ordered even a extra side of sauce!!! Really!! Should be noted on website!! We also called it in and waitress that took our order gave us final price but did not mention the up charge to EVERYTHING we ordered!!!!!!

Sat at the bar with Dena Food was delicious and service was on point as always. Get there ASAP

Always a good choice for a huge variety of fresh dishes and daily specials to choose from. Knowledgeable staff and great operating system, gets you fed quickly. We love this place. Tasty cocktails also!!!

Great food, and service, you never leave hungry!

Overall the food is very good. I had the mozzarella triangles and the Veal topped with prosciutto and ricotta, so very good. My buddy had the calamari and said it was rubbery, but loved his chicken picatta. Service is good too.

I just love this place food is delicious never had one complaint and prices are reasonable which is a big plus! Fish and chips are delicious and not greasy like some places I love the penne with meatballs my son loves the Mac & cheese with buffalo chicken tenders on top! The chowder red or white is outstanding so is the Chicken soup and beef lentil, I’m making myself hungry!😋

Very busy for a Wednesday lunch. Had the scallops and bacon over spinach lunch special. It was excellent. Bacardi and diet okay.

Sept 2023. Great staff, fast service and wonderful food at great prices. 5 people with drinks and appetizers and meals just over $100 without tip. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED May 2023 Impressed. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED I wasn't expecting such a wonderful menu and specials.. Nicely made fresh salads. Shepard's pie special was fabulous and full of flavor. Best I have ever had. Sole Franchisee was huge serving and so delicious it melted in your mouth. The Salmon was huge serving also , served hot and sauce on the side, with pasta.... Amazing service and food was hot and delicious.

My sister and I came for dinner and drinks to catch up. The service was great. Very attentive. We ordered the calamari appetizer but we had different ideas. The waitress did everything she could and was awesome. I had veal Parm which was delicious. And my sister had baked stuffed shrimp which was deliciously stuffed! I will not hesitate to go here again.

Food was ok! The calamari was a little tough but had good flavor, the veal was a little soggy and came out cold but the veal parm grinder was good my son had and my brother antipasto salad was good. Service was unattentive to us because they were worried about a large party so we had to ask for our waters and complamentry bread. We never got checked on during the meal how everything was or if we needed anymore drinks also when we did get our drinks she left the empty glasses on the table. I know our tip wasn't going to be anywhere near what you were going to get from the large party but we still have a voice for the business and I worked hard to take my mother out for her birthday. So maybe if a waitress is overwhelmed by a large party don't give her smaller tables to work at the same time it takes a toll on your reputation because it will be awhile before I come back.

My daughter and I Love to come here because they treat us like family. We have gone here so many times when my daughter was going through a very difficult time with some health issues one of the hostess asked if everything was all right because we haven't been there in a few weeks. When I had mentioned what we're dealing with just some very difficult news with her health she asked if there was anything she could do? I had asked her if she could pray and within seconds she came back to the table and let us know that she had already reached out to her family and her friends and employees there. Also, the Manager is the bartender too she is the sweetest person you'll ever meet other than our own two children her heart is so beautiful ❤️ when we leave she continues to pray for our daughters every time she sees us and when we are not around. Our oldest loves to see her and they give each other the greatest hugs and she tells me all the time but mostly that she keeps our family in her prayers. It means more than anything too me! 0 I am a single mom and all the difficult obstacles that I've been dealing with due to her health it's comforting to know there are great people still in this world that care about other people. They're not there just for the work here they always make us feel like so loved and appreciated all the waitresses are wonderful. Her favorite waitress is Natalie no matter how busy she is which is always very busy, she always finds time to stop for a few minutes sit next to her and to give her a hug and tell her how much she misses her. This definitely makes her daughter's day all the I think it's because of the great love that they give her that gives her hope and us hope. She'll sit and talk with her ask her what's been going on they talk about you know boy issues along with sharing pictures of what they both have been doing since we last seen her. We just don't call this a favorite restaurant we go because they're so special to us and the food's incredible that's the second reason! This restaurant restaurant we call our second home because they are family. Food is incredible all the time anything you need they go out of their way. Just always do whatever it takes to make their customers happy and that's why we all keep going back. We wish them nothing but the best for success the staff to be paid well so this restaurant doesn't lose the best thing that keeps them where they're at today. This is a favorite. The food is outstanding, the service is friendly and professional, and the atmosphere is that of an unpretentious neighborhood restaurant. It's mostly traditional Italian-American cuisine, but it's done so well that it doesn't need to be trendy. Always check the specials because they frequently offer some surprising entrées. Never had a bad meal here.

Local Restaurant in Johnston, RI that has been in business for over 25 years. Located just off of the highway on Atwood Ave. Very popular place to eat, serving lunch and dinner. The menu is extensive, with daily specials, and the portions are typical of all the good RI Restaurants, large and tasty. What was the biggest difference, was what they charge for these meals, very reasonable compared to most. They have a main room that has several booths and tables and a decent size bar, and another room with an area for larger parties. You certainly can't go wrong eating at the Atwood Grill. Highly recommended!

My husband and I went for lunch today we both had the chili and the buffalo Cesar salad, the chilly tasted like it came from the can and they added kidney beans and jalapeños, then the salad came first bite of the lettuce tasted like pine sol 🤮 yuck! I thought maybe it was my imagination till my husband said the same thing. 42$ later and not even a penny off the bill after telling the waitress… another horrible lunch. The Waitress just told us she eats that all the time and she will have to check it out. Restaurants should really watch the cleaning chemicals they use often they affect the flavor of the food.

My family has been going here for years. It's one of the last family hometown sittings where you can chill, see people from your hometown, or even if you're out of town, everyone's absolutely a phenomenal experience there

Atmosphere very casual. Haven't eaten here in a very long time. My wife's first time. She is a pescatarian and there is a large selection of dinners for her. She wants to definitely go back again.

Wish I could give less than a star. Absolutely no standards on the food. Moldy curtains too! Won't ever go back!

I've only been here twice. Once for dinning in and another for takeout. Both, times I don't have a complaint. Food was hot, fresh, and tasty!!! They also have a very diverse menu, so finding something for everyone isn't a problem.

We have been dinning here for years. Excellent food, and great service. Staff always pleasant. My only thoughts are why they have a no substitution policy on side dishes. Every other restaurant has no problem with this request. We frequent this restaurant every week, and I make the request every visit..

Awful food. Not fresh. Grilled pizza I couldn't eat. There is a very large menu but I won't be going back. Casual.

Pleasantly surprised with the Chicken Francaise entree ...very flavorful ...I would say for an entree even comparable to some places on Federal Hill or around Garden City ...have been here in the past for burgers, sandwiches, and fish & chips ...they were decent but have to admit that those never stood out to me as much as this entree.
