Tommy's
today
Nov1
2020
took
my
mother
and
wife
there.
We
haven't
been
there
in
awhile
because
of
covid
.
We've
been
going
to
Tommy's
for
over
30yrs.
We
have
told
hundreds
of
friends
,
acquaintances
,&
family
to
go
to
Tommy's.
Many
poeple
we
have
told
had
gone
to
eat
and
enjoyed
the
food.
The
servers
prior
to
Covid
were
friendly,
warm
&
welcoming.
Today
was
a
very
disappointing
experience
.
The
servers
were
not
customer
service
friendly
at
all.
My
wife
&
mother
were
greeted
with
in
a
demanding
voice
about
the
mask
requirement.
My
mother
was
on
oxygen,
very
obvious
she
had
her
oxygen
tube
in
her
nose,
the
server
sternly
demanded
my
mother
wear
a
mask!
Totally
no
consideration
for
her
obvious
health
issue.
We
sat
at
the
table
for
20
minutes
with
no
one
giving
us
a
menu
or
even
greeting
us.
My
wife
had
to
ask
for
menus.
I
went
to
park
vehicle,
walked
in
,
I
made
it
to
the
table
where
they
were
sitting
about
8ft
from
the
door.
I
was
ready
to
sit
down
when
I
was
approached
by
one
of
the
servers,
demanding
me
to
wear
a
mask.
The
table
was
only
a
few
feet
from
the
entrance.
I
had
to
walk
back
to
the
entrance
where
they
had
the
masks.
I
put
the
mask
on
,
walk
back
to
table,
with
in
2
mins
I
walk
to
the
restroom.
Again,
I
was
stop
by
the
same
person
telling
me
,
I
need
to
cover
my
nose
with
mask
.
I
replied,
"
no
my
mouth
is
covered
."
I
was
,comng
our
of
men's
bathroom
when
I
was
approach
by
the
owner
of
Tommy's
.
He
stated
he
could
refuse
to
serve
me
if
I
dont
put
the
mask
over
my
nose
.
He
told
me
in
an
unprofessional
tone
"
don't
give
my
workers
a
hard
time
"
As
a
business
owner
myself,
trying
to
retain
business,
professionalism
and
courtesy
is
key
.
Presenting
a
welcoming
dining
experience
is
very
important.
It's
unfortunate
that
we
didn't
receive
the
warm,
welcoming
dining
experience
we
used
to
receive
prior
to
Covid
.
Initial
impressions
make
a
difference.
We
will
not
be
dining
there
anymore.
Negative
experience
travels
fast.
