Amazing only wish parking was easier but it was the beach. When I was checking in valet let me park to the side since I was coming back out after I checked in. Even told me check in is on 3rd floor I never would have thought that. Offered a free glass of champagne at check In. Only negative is the rooms were Hot. I know its the beach in Florida during a heat advisory but shouldn't be that hot in room felt like it was 80° - 85° when I called the desk I was told an room will only be 10° less than outside. This isn't always the case plenty of hotels have ac that will have ur room at 65 all day...

New hotel! Didn’t get great feeling from any employee! I would work on making your guests feel welcome. Great area, still under construction below on ground level. Love Cambria but not sure I would advertise infinity pool on the rooftop. I’m not sure what kind of pool it is but it looks like a regular pool to me. Nothing special

As a hotel that’s been here for about three or four years, the best thing is its proximity to the beach. We have been coming here for over three years a few times a year because of its location. First year was amazing! Excellent service, clean rooms.., all around great. Now it’s average at best. Beginning with the cleanliness. The bathrooms often have hair on shower walls and counters. The floors are not cleaned well. Our bath mat was little wet from showering and we moved it over to the sink and the underside of the mat was black with grime. The sink won’t drain right away and takes a solid five minutes to drain. We notified management and nothing was done. The valet parking is a hassle. The hotel management will let you park your own car but won’t communicate this with valet parking attendants know so to have to battle it out with them each time you leave and return. The bartenders are also hit or miss with service. The only consistently hospitable one is Emily and she works mornings. For the location, it’s a great hotel but don’t expect much more.

I enjoyed my recent stay at The Cambria. I had a king suite on the fourth floor with a nice view of the gulf about a quarter-mile away from my balcony (the view below was nearby streets and shops and a few hotels between The Cambria and the ocean). The bed was very comfortable and the suite had a fridge and microwave. The front desk staff were very sweet at check-in and the food at the rooftop bar was decent. My main issue with the room was that the shower was simply a slightly downsloping continuation of the bathroom floor, so even with the shower curtain closed, the water from the shower somehow went all over the bathroom floor. It would be nice if the shower curtain at least extended to the floor to prevent the rest of the bathroom from getting wet. I also did not like the mandatory valet parking fee of $25 per night. While the valets were all nice and professional, if you are going to charge hotels patrons a daily parking fee, it may as well be self-parking. It doesn't make sense to expect guests to tip for valet service when there is no option for self-parking and valet is mandatory with a high nightly fee at baseline. As a result, I chose not to tip the valets purely on principle, since I was already forced to pay $25 a night with no option for self-parking. I hope the hotel is paying them well; if not, it should not be on hotel guests to ensure they are receiving fair wages.

Guest Services made sure that my birthday weekend was special. Thank you, Kim, the assistant general manager, for making sure that my experience, along with every other guest, was the best possible vacation experience. Our room was clean, well appointed, quiet, with a balcony and ocean/sunset view. Breakfast food was wonderful with great service. Pool was clean, not crowded, with a (cold) infinity pool that overlooked the ocean. We will be back!

We stayed at the Cambria Hotel in Madeira Beach, Florida. The hotel is in an excellent location and the rooms were clean. My big disappointment is that the pricing of the rooms fluctuates on a daily basis. I booked our room two months in advance and unfortunately it happened to be at the high end of their pricing structure. I checked the price the day before arrival and the total price was almost $300 less than what I originally booked for our 5 night stay. I was inside my cancellation time so I thought I would be able to negotiate when I checked in (I also checked a few hours before we arrived and the price was still lower) but when I arrived to check in the price was back up. I had taken screen shots of the rates, so they did comp me the valet parking rate. Big lesson learned for me is to continuously check rates and cancel and rebook when there are rate changes. Also they charge $25 valet parking per day which is a money grab because the parking garage is part of the hotel so there is no need for valet parking. We stayed 5 days and were told we would have the room made up on the third day which was fine with us. We phoned to ensure we would have the room made up on the third day, and it didn’t happen. On the fourth day I went to the front desk to ask for the room to be made up and all that was done was fresh towels and garbage emptied. Also the roof top pool (which looks very inviting) is not heated - it was ice cold. For the price I paid to stay at the Cambria, I was very disappointed in the service. We spent 2 weeks in Florida and stayed at Choice hotels each night and this hotel was by far the most disappointing and expensive.

Great hotel experience. The hotel is just off the beach, but just a skip away. The rooms are contemporary and comfortable. Only thing to be aware of is the mandatory valet parking, but the attendants were all super friendly and always had our car waiting when we needed it.

Cambria has to be my new favorite hotel. After my five star experience in North Carolina, I specifically book here when I knew I was coming to St.Pete for work. Let me tell you it did not disappoint! Balconies in your room and the most amazing rooftop pool and bar you could ask for. Complimentary champagne served on check-in and sunset toast on the roof watching the beautiful sunset over the gulf Very fairly priced an amazing atmosphere better than a lot of places at double the price
