Great place for scheduled routine appointments. Not the place to go if your pet gets sick or has an emergency (during office hours). They won't be able to see you for at least a week. I ended up calling around and in both instances was able to get my pet in to see a doctor the same day with a different vet. Very disappointing. 1.31.2023 I was not offered an emergency visit.

I love the whole Team. They are so friendly and are so kind to the animals. My Maggie sees Dr Olive and I like how she takes her time to explain.

Brought my dog in with a badly cut leg, I was told to bring him in after telling them I only had $165 bucks until I got paid 3 days later, so after bringing him in they looked at him and said his legs cut he needs surgery and because you only have 165 we won't touch him, no bandage nothing for pain just told what I already knew said take him home and deal with it till you've got money. Then charged me 165 for all the care they didn't provide and wrote a script for antibiotics I had to go fill myself and pay for separately. When I called to get him in after I got paid I was told the doctor that saw him was out and nobody else could help when I complained about their lack of caring I was told I was money hungry and hung up on this is after taking every penny I had for nothing. This place is a disgrace unless you've got deep pockets

My family and I have been taking our pets to this clinic for years and never experienced an issue. Until now. The other day my husband and I took both of our cats in for check ups and rabies vaccines. The visit went mostly fine but I will not be able to award any more than 2 stars, as the exam table was dirty (covered in fur and clearly not wiped down between patients). Not to mention there was a tapeworm on the tray on top of the scale! Our cat was sat on top of it and the assistant asked me if she had tapeworm. She certainly does not. This means the tapeworm came from an animal who visited previously. The assistant also informed us the worm had been moving, therefore alive! The fact that the assistant was unaware of the worm’s presence on the scale tray shows it was not wiped and cleaned b/t patients, let alone even glanced at to determine if it was clean before use! I voiced my concerns with the vet (Anita) and she did not do much other than to assure my husband and I our cat can only get tapeworm if ingesting another animal (such as a rat or flea infected with it). Even if that is true, there should be no tapeworm or other parasite anywhere within the vicinity of where animals are getting check ups! No money was taken off my bill, as it should have been. I was not offered any other kind of compensation either. With how much you have to pay for a simple check up the items they are using to do so should certainly be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between each use. Very disappointing. I will say both assistant and vet were very kind and gentle with our cats. That is wonderful but the level of sanitation within my visit that day was not adequate.

Second time I go in there my dog, first time she has double leash on her and can’t get off just took her there today for a $1500 CAT scan and she had her collar on so tight when they gave her to me. I couldn’t put my finger between her collar and her coat to get it off of her and leave her with them thinking she’s getting treated well what a shame she won’t never go back there

Brought my kitten for his vaccines and microchip. Dr. Olive was very gentle and soothing to my squirmy Kitty. She calmed him down and the procedure was very professional. I highly recommend. I've brought my two dogs here for seven years and always have a good experience.

Great service always friendly. I feel like they truly care and the price is fair compared to many other vet offices around.

They are extremely competent and their facilities are excellent. Avon Animal hospital was also significantly more expensive than other veterinarian clinics I have been to in the area. If price is no object, highly recommended!

Dr. Poling and Dr. Olive are awesome vets. I've been with this practice for over 11 years. This staff is caring, knowledgeable and dedicated to the welfare of your pet. I would never trust anyone but them to care for Maggie. She's too important to me; and she's important to the staff at Avon Animal H.ospital

We started taking our dogs here for a few years ago after having problems with another veterinarian and the staff has been absolutely amazing. Services are fairly well priced and completed quickly but thoroughly. They have been able to answer any possible question we have had. If you are looking for someone to care for your four legged family member, I highly recommend Avon Animal Hospital.

Great animal hospital the helped my wee little piggies hurt shoulder. She had a little limp and the vet subscribed her some pains meds and some TLC. The visit was smooth and easy we found them on Google while we were camping in Ohio, I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a pet doc.

I have been coming to Avon Animal Hospital for over 30 years. I've always gotten the very best of care for my four-legged family members here. I recommend Avon Animal Hospital to anyone who wants top-notch veterinary care.

Wonderful vet and great staff. Both my daughters like brining their pets here. My dog oldest daughter had two bad experiences with her dogs vet that made her after, many years leave. She plans for her dog to see this vet. She likes Animal Clinic Northview too but this one is closer and even better experience with them.

The staff were very nice . And the medicine is working , still waiting for her hair to grow back but I know the vet said it would be longer but approximately a month. But she's looking good , no scratching anymore . Thank you . The prices are some what high . Especially for someone on a fixed income. Like disability which that's me low income . Thank you again for your help .

The staff is very friendly, and they were so patient with my dog, an 81-pound scaredy-cat! I hate that it costs more than my own doctor appointments, but I know she's in good hands here!

I've been a client off and on over the past 30 years. My first cat, Cuddles, lived to 21 years of age due to the care she got from Dr. Poling. Since then I've brought in Peaches and my current rescue, Milo. 2 of the 3 have had dental care there. I have confidence in Avon Animal Hospital.

Best service anywhere. The staff treats your pet with care and attention. Best ever✌️

Been going there for years. It feels like the service went down and the price went up - I took my indoor cat there because it was bleeding out of the rectum. They were more interested in charging a lot of money for vaccines. I still don’t know why it is still bleeding weeks later. I guess she won’t die of distemper.

We drive from Cleveland to go to this animal hospital. I first came when my rabbit was having seizures and rabbits being considered exotic animals this was the closest vet I could take her to. The doctor ran out of the room and took care of her immediately and saved her life. She got put on seizure meds and hasn't had one since. Recently out Boston terrier Oz got his cornea scratched, and they tried everything the could to help him and have it heal. We had to go back 2 other times because he wasn't getting better. We were told we have to take him to an optometrist bc they tried everything they could. I do not feel like I got ripped off at this vet, they did their best to help him and make sure he wasn't in pain. I highly recommend them!

Was charged over $410+ for shots that would have cost no more than $225.... also received an additional shot intended for dogs that are around other dogs when they were aware he isn't socialized or around other animals

Very thoughtful staff! Explained everything in detail. You can tell they all care very much for each animal they see.
