    I need to point out this happened at both the Hammond, and Portage locations. I came to get my teeth fixed. Ordinarily when you have as much extensive work that needs to be done as me, you would usually receive antibiotics, some pain medication, and an appointment to start working on them. The dentist at this location is extremely lazy. I must point out however that the other staff are extremely professional and courteous. The dentist has no bedside manner, is rude, judgmental, and just plain unprofessional and lazy. He didn't even look at my teeth at all. Just handed me an itinerary and sent me on my way. He did the same thing to me last year, so I gave it a little while to let the opioid epidemic go away so maybe this time I would get pain medication. Nope. They still leave you in pain no matter how bad it is. For example last year my wife had a baby and the hospital sent her home with motrin. Don't go to this place if you're in any sort of pain or are going to have a procedure that is painful. They will not give you pain medication. They will treat you like a drug addict if you ask. What happened to our Medical system? I am currently in the process of filing a formal complaint with the state ADA.

    This location is very pretty on the inside, but the pharmacy tech was so rude. She talked us into paying cash for a 3 month supply of inhalers after we gave her our insurance card. She said it wasn’t covered we called our insurance and they said it was she just simply didn’t put it in. My husband and I decided to just take the lost. When it was time to pick the other prescriptions we bought she then said we did not pay for them. We told her we would be back with a receipt and then she gave it to us for free. Her customer service skills were very poor and she had an attitude both interactions. If we didn’t pay for it the first time why was she so quick to give it to us for free when we said we would get the receipt 🤔even though I live in portage I will not be returning to this location. Save yourself the headache & money and go to the lake station one.

    Whenever I have an appointment I arriver 15 minutes early. I understand being busy but honestly I sit here waiting to see a doctor longer than my actually appointment takes. It has been 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment time and im still sitting in the lobby. 😒

    Took me 1 hour from appointment time of 10am to get covid shot and leave I arrived 15 minutes early (9 45). In treatment room i was given 2 pieces paper to fill out. One was regarding child I brought with me, which did not happen. I don't remember what 2nd paper was But I filled out both sides of both forms. I was told North Shore was very busy that day, the same as I've heard all other appointments for covid shots.

    All good but the medical field can't keep appointment times . My time was 3 pm not 3:25 pm. It not just you the hole medical field is that why and why to often. Shouldn't have to fill out info everything I come here. If something changes you will know.

    Nurse was in such a big hurry that the needle wiggled in my babies leg. I understand the need to be quick with little ones, but there are good ways of going about it. They really need to work on eye contact with both parents present in the room or at least the primary care taker.

    Need to be more professional, some the young ladies are unprofessional and the doctor always in a hurry when she finally arrives in the room after waiting almost a hour. I get it I know they be busy . But I feel like the professional part needs to improve. Last time I was there I felt so uncomfortable 😕.

    I’m always greeted with a friendly smile. The services I receive from NorthShore are stupendous. From the moment you step into NorthShore and the moment you leave you're either greeted with a friendly smile either from the nurses, receptionist, pharmacist, dental hygienist making you feel welcome and at ease with yourself. The medical staff, psychiatrist, and the front-line staff are always on point. I've never encountered a problem with this facility. The counselors there have been my rock during my recovery. 👍

    The young lady at reception for dental care was rude. In the middle of taking my information she said "I have to go to the back. Go sit down." I was just about done checking in, why she couldn't wait 1 minute to go to the back I don't know but she was pretty rude about it.

    Elizabeth treats me better than any Dr I've ever had and she's not even an MD. I would recommend using North shore if you want to be treated as an individual and not just another patient.

    Kyla is amazing! She always listens and explains things so I can understand. She never makes me feel rushed or an inconvenience. Her nurse is also very kind and the front ladies are always helpful.

    Dr. Jones is personable, caring, and knowledgeable. I always learn so much during a visit. His explanations are clear and diagnostic ability expert! North shore is lucky to have this excellent specialist.

    My visit with Dr. Dan in Chiropractic went extremely well. All the staff members are friendly, efficient, and helpful. The treatment really helped alleviate my pain.

    The nurses are awesome. When I had blood work done, the lab techs were very efficient and I was in and out, with no pain. The pharmacist himself was very nice and asked my preference in the amount without taking it for granted that I wanted 3 months supply. My Nurse Practitioner is a very kind, knowledgeable provider and she takes the time to explain or listen. The counter people seem pleasant enough with the exception of one in the pharmacy. But maybe she was having a bad day. Overall I like this place much better than Northwest Health.

    I see Patience Tieri at the portage or lake station locations . She is absolutely the best physician I have ever encountered. She communicates better then anyone and takes the time to make sure you are hears and explains treatments as well helps you plan a healthy lifestyle. She works hard and cares deeply for all of her patients. She is my reason for using Northshore . Thank you Brian S

    The Portage NorthShore treated me well ! The receptionists at the front desk , all asked if they " could help me"? Then they direct me to : the dentist , the optometrist or what have you. And they're good at Lake Station also So , thank you , NorthShore Centers!! Gricelle. ( By the way, the ladies that had my glasses ready; were wonderful too! )

    Patience is awesome and the nurses that take bp etc. However, when there are 3 people sitting behind the counter with no one in front of them, why doesn’t anyone say hi and help? This isn’t just a one time occurrence, but EVERY TIME! The people that register you at the desk are not friendly at all and often make me feel as if I am interrupting them.

    Never been a fan of going to the doctor at all but when necessity strikes sometimes we must and my experience at North shore clinic this Monday past was as pleasant of one I have ever had as an adult. The staff at the counter was very helpful with my questions about the forms, the doctor's assistant and doctor communicated well and had good bedside manner, and the payment was more reasonable than I had anticipated. If you don't have a personal family doctor and are in need of medical attention I recommend North shore in Portage Indiana if you are going to see a doctor. Caveat, explorer all avenues of natural remedies first. Wholistic health existed before doctors did.

    Dr Toader, Monique, and Barbara made my appointment so easy and relaxing. I had just met the team and I was treated like a long time patient. I left there knowing I was in good hands. There was an error with my contact choice and Monique called me right away (as I was driving home) and made sure it was fixed. She went above and beyond to fix MY mistake. As I sit here typing, I can see clearer than I ever have in years. That team is amazing!!!

    I was recommended to Dr. Dan for my son. Dr. Dan made us feel very comfortable during our first visit and explained everything thoroughly. He even cared about the distance I drove to see him and assured me another member from his team which is closer to me can help my son with his condition. We hope to continue to make strides and are look forward to our next appt at the Hammond location.
