Very nice atmosphere, and a wide range of nice cafes and shops. Very nice murals on the walls. Also has a good playground and sand pit suitable for young children. Very nice.

Phenomenal place to hang out with kids and adults alike. The playground is fun and inspiring, just watch out for the sand on the included rubberized areas. Overall a great spot. Next have to rye some of the food!

The redevelopment, that taken forever, was a great transformation. For start, it provides a multi level basement parkings with e-charging parking spaces. It offers Direct access to shops like Coles, Aldi. On street level, that's where the real canopy located. A mirror reflective canopy provides a funky dynamic vibe to the area, makes the whole place more energetic. Besides, there are great Canopy playground, lots fun for kids, family time, with a stage for artist performance and giant screen for Australian Open. Don't forget to mention, there are tons of coffee shops here, definitely a place to visit more often.

Good place for Lanecove community. Good car parking, more restaurants, a cocered playing area for kids, and shopping centers. Newly opened.

It is one of my favourite place to be lately. 3 Hours free parking is enough to have a nice meal + shopping. The varieties of the restaurants are very different from each other and all with very high qualities. With just good amount of population hanging around during weekends. Some very good food destinations and plenty boutique stores to shop. People here in this suburb are very friendly and makes the whole experience nicer than the busy shopping centres. It is not the biggest shopping village, but has everything to offer.

I love what Lane Cove has done with this area. Extremely good local restaurants (especially Sho Sushi and Sugar Lane), a lovely public shared space which is actually used, and generally the feeling of a community who cares and is cared about. The shops are great and there's a good range, the area is cleaned and well maintained, there's plenty of parking and it really makes it a great area to live.

The most disgusting revenue generating program I have ever seen, you drive through the lane to pay as you leave and it says no payment is required, and then you get a $110 fine. And the reason they give for the fine changes after it is challenged...even Transport for NSW say their pictures are speculative. Avoid the Canopy as a matter of principle. I know so many who have has this experience. It will be your turn soon.

The canopy is our local mall. We usually visit it 5 out of 7 days a week. It is especially comfortable for families with small children as the amenities are all there. Cafes, shops and grocers are all top notch also. We love to play with our child on the big lawn. The playground and sand play area are also something we visit regularly. Free music and performances happen regularly here which also can be a nice surprise when visiting.

Best place to take kids as there's grass for running around & a fabulous playground. Brilliant Coles & Aldi, easy parking & access.

The space is fantastic and we chose to eat Thai the food and service was great but I wouldn't hurry back on a Saturday evening if there was live music at the volume it was at as it ruined all conversation for the first hour so while we love live music it just wasn't appropriate for the mixed venue so that aspect of the evening got 1 star

You know it's a pretty good place when you order WAYYY too much for 4 people and you still managed to finish it all! Great location, lively and lovely at all times of the day, the Longy is a great place to stop at any time. Food at the canopy is top notch. Feel free to try anything. You won't go wrong.

ticketless parking, but no payment at boomgate as we expected so have to pay online within 3 days with credit card and they charge a dodgy 1% merchant fee. dodgy how they charge exponentially more for each hour you stay longer than free period. no discount if you spend money at any restaurants there. sneaky councils

I loved the Spanish restaurant , food is amazing highly recommend the cocktails which are in proper glasses not downsized . All the dishes are amazing . Serious customer service with a smile and staff have great knowledge of each dish.

Love it. It's a great city centre for Lane Cove with various cafes, restaurants and all services... everything within walking distances. Also, there are plenty of parkings.

There is a wide range of stores to visit as well as quite a few places to get food and drinks. There is a nice large grass area with seats as well as the stage. Very nice place to visit.

While the parking was easy, I found the Saturday night park music way too loud for dining guests. Even after a friendly request by other diners for lower volume it went back up. This made it difficult to catch up while dining. Dinner at Sugar Lane was nice but way too pricey. Staff were lovely though.

When it first started: Lovely wide open space that used to be a car park, with dirty toilets and charity bins everywhere. It's a vast improvement. Now: even better with more restaurants, open air amphitheatre, picnic areas and Coles. Couldn't fault it.

I wasn't aware of the redevelopment as I am not in the area much and so I found it by accident a few days ago. I returned with my wife to try the cafe and do some groceries shopping at Coles. The cafe was excellent, parking was easy and co l es was well stocked and well staffed. We'll be bavk

🫤 Too many many levels and way too many pompous upperclass shops that normal people wouldn’t shop at. I did appreciate the Xmas decorations and the various places to sit. However at 9:45am in the morning there was next to no shops open which was very disappointing
