I
was
given
a
voucher
and
used
it
for
a
remedial
massage.
Underwhelming.
No
benefit.
The
receptionist
made
it
seem
like
it
was
a
hassle
to
bring
up
my
details
(maybe
it
was
not
her
job?)
and
spent
an
inordinate
amount
of
time
pulling
up
the
electronic
consent
form,
which
she
claimed
had
been
emailed
(I
even
checked
my
junk
mail
-
it
hadn’t).
The
$155
50
minute
massage
felt
like
the
$90
Thai
massage
up
the
road
-
she
basically
just
lathered
me
up
with
oil
and
then
kept
poking
at
sore
spots
without
seeming
to
know
what
to
do.
I’ve
been
having
remedial
massages
for
20
years
and
this
was
not
what
I’d
expected.
I
suppose
the
consolation
was
that
I
didn’t
pay
for
it,
although
I’m
sure
the
giver
of
the
voucher
would
have
preferred
for
me
to
have
had
a
better
experience.
Maybe
their
other
treatments
are
better,
but
if
you’re
given
the
choice,
pass
on
the
massage.
