This place is such a vibe. It’s a really cute & cozy space. The cocktails were lovely. We came here a bit late and missed out on food but keen to visit this place again soon. Also, the owner of this venue is quite funny and was so gracious in telling us that his liquor licence expires at 11.30 😄 *****UPDATED REVIEW***** We finally tried the food and it was so good! I highly recommend the cheese puffs, chicken arancini balls and the charcuterie board 😋

Despite the fireplace, don’t expect a warm welcome. We were rushed from the get go. We ordered drinks and dessert around 9pm after going out for dinner. The bar was by no means full. One of the waiters announced that the fireplace table had become available if anyone wanted to enjoy it. As no one stood up, we decided to enjoy the seating area. The waiter came and asked us what else we were going to drink (though 2 of our party we’re still on their drinks). I made it perfectly clear that I was the designated driver and was not going to order to make sure we got home safely. After another 10 minutes the same waiter came back and abruptly asked if we were going to order another drink. When we said no thank you, he said “you either need to order more drinks or get out.” No surprise, we decided to leave. Without another word he dumped the eftpos machine in front of us and didn’t even say thank you or goodbye. We would have been more than happy to move to a different table (because there were other empty tables) or to have them kindly explain that they wanted to give the table to another party. Unfortunately, neither of those options were made available to us and we were simply told we needed to “get out.” I found the older waiter to be rude, ill-mannered, loud and in need of customer service training.

I recently visited The Lodge Bar and had a fantastic experience. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot to unwind after a long day. The attentive staff was quick to offer recommendations and made sure I had everything I needed. The drink menu was impressive, featuring a wide variety of options to cater to different preferences. From classic cocktails to unique creations, each drink was expertly crafted and packed with flavor. The Lodge Bar's attention to detail extended to the presentation, elevating the overall experience. Whether you're looking for a quiet evening or a lively night out, The Lodge Bar offers a wonderful atmosphere and top-notch service that I highly recommend.

Had a fantastic night at The Lodge Bar. Amazing cocktails, great food. The owner & staff are wonderful. Has a lovely warm fireplace & great music. It’s a great vibe. It’s now my local place to go.

Had a great night in the Lodge on Saturday night. A welcome smile from Karen, lovely service from young Xavier and shared a couple of tequilas with the owner, Hermant. Nice food, can strongly recommend the meatballs. A warm atmosphere in comfortable surroundings. Dog friendly too! Thanks for a great night, will be back again soon.

Love The Lodge! Was there on Friday with friends and had another awesome night. They do table service, so no queueing at the bar. Hemant, the owner, makes the best cocktails and is always helpful with suggestions. Now they serve food, yummy, makes for a complete night out, and heaps of fun!

We had a 50th birthday party at the Lodge this weekend and everything was excellent! The food, the drinks, the service and last but not least the host Hemant. He made sure that this party was a great success. We can absolutely recommend the lodge for a venue for a party or gathering with friends/family.

This little gem is a great venue for catchup with good friends. Cool and cosy vibes. Great for cocktails, and the Oysters and Prosecco on a Thursday night are the perfect start to wind down the week!

This place is what I would class as my best finds of 2023/24. When you arrive, you are treated like a super star the only person in the venue, the food is out of this world, the cocktails are world-class. This venue is not for those who just want a massive party with 500 of you non closet friends. It is intimate, classy, and above all full of character and style, just like a lounge or bar you would find in NYC or LA. As a performer who sings or as a chill out space with your good friends look no further. A shout out to Sam who provides the music and mic. Cheeky, glamour, and style is what I would state and recommend for this bar. Thank you to the team and owner for making my night memorable. This venue is also LGBTQI + friendly, and all are welcome . What a great place for drinks. My friends and I had a gorgeous Friday night there - excellent wine selection and bonus of being able to being in the fantastic pizza from across the road. Already booked to come back again !

Great subterranean bar which serves good cocktails and wine. Recently expanded food selection which is great, more substantial meal-like fare along with a selection of smaller bites and meat and cheese boards. Small outdoor area with heaters too. Strongly recommend for a great evening out with a small group or drinks before dinner.
