A great dining experience. Amazing service by the friendly staff. Prices are great considering the portion sizes we were given. We ordered the falafel ($16.50) and the Sahara Platter For 2 ($64.50). Food arrived piping hot and fresh but the actual grilled portion of the Platter arrived a little late, though its mid-dinner service, so it's expected. Amazing friendly staff were happy to accommodate and reheat/toast the bread and topped-up some of the condiments. All were flavoursome, colourful and well presented. We left very well fed and are happy to return sometime in the near future. We did book for a table an hour before rocking up, quite lucky a table for 3 was available. Otherwise, do plan ahead with those bookings. Highly recommended.

This is the first time trying Turkish food and I have to say, this place definitely sets the bar high. As you walk past the restaurant, you can smell the beautiful aromas of their succulent meat selection cooked over charcoal. The dips were flavoursome, the meats were so very tender and moist. My personal favourite was the Adana shish. It was like an explosion in my mouth, I cannot explain how good it was. Its like a Lebanese kafteh but 2000x times better. As for the rice and salads they were just okay, Overall I'd definitely be back. Price honestly wasn't bad either. My sister and I shared a banquet and drinks for under $60. So for those commenters below who have said price is expensive. They obviously don't appreciate good, wholesome food. Thank you Sahara for the dining experience.

Delicious shish (skewer) - mixture of lamb and beef mince with bread, rice, salad and aioli. Friendly staffs and professional service. Outdoor seatings are available.

My friend and I visited this place today. The food there is amazing! We both ordered the chargrill dish and a beetroot deep. The meat was grilled perfectly. Tender, and full of flavour. The dip was excellent and the bread that came with it was very soft and fresh. The portions at this place are MASSIVE. The prices are above average, but given the size of the portions, it is fair. My friend couldn't finish hers and the waitress gave us takeaway containers for both the food and the deeps. Amazing food, great service. Highly recommend place.

An institution of Burwood here for decades. Food is always excellent with massive portions to share when dining in or smaller/cheaper options on the takeaway side. Service is prompt and efficient. Comfortable inside with not too much bright lighting.

The food at this place was very nice. The egg and sujuk was delicious, the skander was full of flavour and the kebabs were light and nice. The service wasn’t anything special. The owner of this place is very kind and generous, though staff can do better.

Food was okay. Nice service and good for a quick bite. I didn't quite like the salad part but chicken was nice.

In regards to the food quality was kindawise good, the serving size was perfect but inside the chicken with the rice that ordered was a bit dry and tasteless. But overall with the others within the corn broccoli etc was nice.
