This is the 3rd visit to the park - the first was 2 weeks, and the second and third a week each time, I combine work with camping and its absolutely brilliant. A $150 tent from kmart that accomodates 8 standing and a powered site overlooking Lane Cove national park and you have the best of both worlds. The park is well sheltered, the first few nights i was in a serious airport closing thunderstorm but the wind in the park was never heavy and the site so well designed no water runs under the tent. Power and water are great, batherooms super clean and kitchen facilities ample! Trust me, try waking to kookaburra's and trees instead of garbage trucks and bricks - people at your Sydney meetins will wonder why you look so fresh!

We stayed here for a long weekend in winter in a powered site, fabulous location and super beautiful park. Park itself is very well kept, it’s hard to believe that you are in the middle of Sydney. With the new Metro line it’s around an hour to be in Circular Quay for Darling Harbour! The park itself is full of gum trees and greenery; it really is a stunning park. The run into the park from North or South is pretty clean with the vast majority of transit being on motorways. We were nervous about being around Sydney with a large caravan and tow-rig but we’re pleasantly surprised. Only negative from me is some of the sites are pretty tight for larger caravans, plus there is very low levels of light at night time. I pulled in around 6:30pm and parking up my van felt pretty scetchy solo; would recommend doing this one in daytime hours! Anyways, would happily stay here again!

My boyfriend and I had a great stay at Lane Cove Caravan Park. The reception is super friendly & helpful. The park is located close enough to the city, but still feels like you’re in nature. We even made friends with some wild birds around our campsite! Ubering almost anywhere into the city costs about $35-$40 per ride, or you can take the transit system which is just a 10 minute walk from the park. The showers were nice and hot which was a bonus. We would return!

Stunning location in the middle of the city! It was like stepping into another world. So calm. The park is lovely, as were the staff and manager. There is a perfect spot for families to camp outside a kids play area, making it super convenient for adults and children to enjoy. New bbqs and shared camp kitchens.

We’ve just returned from a fantastic stay here. The staff were helpful and friendly when booking, and again on the day of checking in. The accommodation was super clean and tidy, and had everything we wanted (I would prefer an oven over a microwave in the cabins but that’s just my personal preference). The pool was pristine every day, and the other ammenities we used were all up to scratch. Not a single complaint. We would definitely return should we be looking for a stay in Sydney again. Highly recommended.

I stayed here for few days and had very wonderful time. It has everything we could expect from a holiday park. The only disappointment was the cleanliness. The kitchen drawer and utensils were stained. May be some basic dusting around window and bedside table. However, Staffs were very accommodating and happy to help. So I would definitely recommend IT.

A great spot near Sydney 3 night stay. really convenient 40 minutes by bus from the city centre. very neat and clean campsite. pitches in grass and concrete, very clean bathrooms with laundry service and many services such as a BBQ area and kitchen area with everything you need. it also has living areas and a cinema area, parks for children, a swimming pool and a gem; a trekking route starts from the campsite which leads to the Lane Cove river. $50 a night powered site. Great

I cannot recommend this place enough, it’s nestle in a city that makes your home away from home feel like a retreat. The ladies on reception start every conversation with delight and joy. There is a grounds man that drives around and with the biggest smile and wave and great chat to check in on you. Everyone is so helpful, Lane Cove hire so well. The amenities are clean and well looked after. They handled a busy period over new years ever like pure professionals. Thank you x

This is our second stay here and have found it to be a very comfortable place to stay while visiting Sydney family. This time we stayed at site 125, which is sited in amongst the trees and is very peaceful considering its location behind the road and by the pedestrian exit. Amenities are basic and dated, but the staff are always about cleaning. Good pressure and temperature in the showers, guess the people complaining were using different facilities? Some spots are definitely cramped by trees, but I do like these in comparison to the larger non tree sites that are completely exposed to the summer sun. We paid peak rates as it was Christmas. $127 a night for our caravan site for 7 nights for 2 adults and 2 kids. Expensive, but so are hotels and airbnbs at this time of year.

What a Park. My husband and I have stayed at this park many times, and despite it not being wheelchair friendly, the staff are exceptional. They go above and beyond to help you, especially when I was unwell and ended up in the hospital. They always asked my husband if he was ok and how I was being The cabins are cleaned to perfection and they always leave the outside light on if you're coming in after dark. The grounds are loo,ked after beautifully and being in a wheelchair I have no problems getting around. This is a tremendous place and so very peaceful and I certainly can't wait to come back for the peacefulness of the park.

Have stayed here many times. Each time we booked, we added our requirements in the menu request provided for a powered site near the entrance due to mobility issues and each time, the staff on the desk had no clue of the extra requirement. They were obliging but still--why ask if we need any extra requirements if you’re not going to read them? This time however, we need to head to Sydney for van repairs which will only take one to two days & EVERY accommodation option has a FIVE night minimum. I’m absolutely disgusted. Unbelievable gall.

Great place to stay if you want to Sydney. Close to public transport. Can be in the city in 20 minutes. Some sites are a bit soggy when they are wet . Surrounding bush is beautiful. Amenities are well kept and the camp kitchen is well set up and has a soft drink and chip vending machine in it . Electric bbqs are scattered around the grounds along with kids play areas.

Slapped in the face with a bee hive and then rubbed in the mud. That's how I felt when talking to a lady who answered the after hours number on the 14th of September when the entrance wasn't opening for my camper. The attendant was not helpful on the phone and sounded as if she just wanted to complain about the phone ringing all night. Ignoring my concern and complaining left me with a nasty impression. It is clear they are in need of more staff! Other than that, really nice place to stay. Tranquil and dreamy. Super clean bathrooms every morning with hot showers! Was greeted by a gentle possum on my first night. Will be changing my review after a better experience next time I go. Will return.

We were delighted to find this park. It was hard to believe it was just 10 minutes to Sydney’s CBD and yet we felt like we were in the middle of the Australian bush -peaceful, large leafy sites and with beautiful bird life. We’d recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Sydney without the hustle and bustle. We’ll be back.

I'm actually astonished to find a caravan park in sydney. Furthermore, I was even more surprised to find the caravan sites to be even more spacious than holiday parks out of sydney! Lane cove caravan park is located right up against some beautiful remnant bushland, which means you get beautiful morning mists over the river, abundant birdlife and what I call the 'rainforest smell', that beautiful natural clean soil smell. Unfortunately our arrival was poorly timed with the wettest weather in many decades so the grassy sites were a muddy quagmire, but I saw caretakers working regularly to try and help keep sites as clean as possible. The amenities were clean and it was easy to get coins for laundry. In our spot in the park, the WiFi was basically useless, we got very poor signal. So be ready to not be able to use it. The kids playground was OK. There wasn't much for our 1yr old to use, and we ended up looking for playgrounds elsewhere. She did, however, delight in the ducks, bush turkeys, and kookaburras. It's easy to get to from the M2, and the road into the park not as narrow as I thought. If you need a pleasant spot to stay with your van in Sydney, this is a great option, and I'd far prefer here over the couple of parks near the airport.

Lane Cove Caravan Park is a massive and top park well placed in Sydney. We've been there and had one of the cabin's that are very highly quality and well done. The staff are really good too - especially for out of the box situations / fixing problems (that aren't their fault).

Fantastic accomodation for time spent in Sydney. Don’t expect a beachside resort, as it doesn’t claim to be that and is not that, and no one will be disappointed. But it is a very quiet and comfortable place to spend time in Sydney.

Great find as a location from which to explore Sydney. Surprisingly quiet as it backs up on a National Park which has hiking trails and a river; however the Metro system is within walking distance.

Staff were lovely, especially the 2 grounds keepers , always a smile and a hello everytime they went past. Kids enjoyed the little park and obstacle course/park. Laundry facilities are eftpos friendly at the top laundry room, coin operated at the bottom one. 10mins down the road to Chatswood Mall and close to the motorway if you need to head out West . Overall enjoyed the experience, and so did my family who checked in to the cabin next door.

I have used 13 campsites in 3 weeks from Cairns to Sydney and this is the worst I have seen Dirty, the equipment does not work, no product to clean the dishes, no tables to eat.... It looks like this campsite is abandoned. The only positive point is that the campsite is close to the center of Sydney.

This park is so big, yet so incredibly quiet. We feel like we are the only people here! Amenities are lovely and clean. Grass powered sites are spacious and well maintained. A lovely place to camp in a National Park.

Great location, lots of cute animals, we saw an echidna eating ants on one of our walks through the camping area. Great entertainment for the kids. Would have been nice if the camp kitchen didn't have open/close times, not the best for late night snacking.

Wonderful location in Sydney and very comfortable cabins. Staff were incredibly helpful in enabling us to stay an extra night. Will stay again.

Great little park, very quiet. Plenty of native fauna to observe. Though the pool closes far earlier than we had anticipated (7pm even during daylight savings) it is still a great place that is somehow both close enough to anything you may need, yet isolated enough that it is still peaceful!

pulled up on a cold wet july night and was thrilled to find a smooth check in process followed by an easy plot to locate. the blemish and hence 4 stars is when the big 4 rolled in for our nightly group shower ritual the pressure was only 💯 for one member with others reporting they ‘had to run around to get wet’ as much as we all like throwing a few sheckles on a pony from time to time - i prefer to keep my gambling on the casino floor and not at shower roulette at lane cover caravan park. regards, big 4 p.s excellent waste water facilities (pictured)

Absolutely terrible customer service. We had this site booked for three nights. My friend had symptoms of covid so we called to cancel our stay. They wouldn’t refund any of our nights. Doesn’t really make any sense. I don’t recommend staying with these guys.

Our favourite accommodation on our 2.5 week road trip. Amazing to believe this location full of peace and wildlife is so close to Sydney CBD and the cabin rooms were great quality. Highly recommend!

My entire family booked out 5 cabins and we recently stayed at this holiday park last week for 4 days. We all agree that we had a beautiful time and experience was beyond amazing, cannot fault anything. The cabins and amenities were as exactly pictured on their website. Thank you for allowing us to create beautiful memories. Will definitely be booking again for sure in the near future!!!!
