Gets an extra because it has the majority of shops and entertainment the average person would look for. Loses many points for the most ridiculous layout and difficulty of getting around of any mall in the multiverse. One set of lifts for most of the mall that takes half a day to come, with the only alternative being incredibly long, slow travelators where the majority of people stand still. Where there is a nod to the far more practical escalator, these are off to one side. Moreover, the management of this mall must be the only people on earth who don't understand that escalators can still be stairs when they're broken - the moment the thing stops working they'll cordon it off like a chemical spill, meaning you have to walk to the other side of the mall to go up or down one floor. This happens with improbable frequency and lasts for weeks at a time. Parking, too, is ridiculous both in lack of volume and in layout. I cannot wait to stop having to come here when my child no longer needs swimming lessons.

4.1 - A range of shops have changed since the effects of Covid and now we have large play areas like Mini-Golf and Sports Bars, and Timezone! It's a good provider of groceries (Woolworths, Coles & Aldi), produce (Chicken Shop, Butcheries & Bakeries) services (Post Office, NRMA, Telstra etc.) and entertainment for the local residents. There is also the Piazza for meals and fun (ping pong tables, water fountains, large screen TV). The lifts and elevators are also slow but I do bear in mind that the local residents are of an ageing population so it may suit them.

Top Ryde is my local shopping centre, I have no complaints about it except for the trolley/trolley bay situation in the car park. Partly it is just shoppers being to lazy or stupid to place their trolleys back in an orderly manner, the other part is that there are 3-4 different trolleys and that the bays aren’t taken care of as often as they should be by centre staff.

The food court at Top Ryde Shopping Centre is quite spacious, offering a wide array of dining options. Whether you're in the mood for fast food, Asian cuisine, or something more exotic, you'll find plenty of choices to satisfy your cravings. The seating area is well-maintained and comfortable, providing a pleasant environment to enjoy your meal. What stood out to me the most were the good restaurants within the shopping centre. There were several establishments that offered a higher-end dining experience with quality food and attentive service. It was a nice surprise to find such a diverse range of dining options all under one roof. Top Ryde Shopping Centre truly caters to all tastes and preferences. From well-known chain stores to unique boutique shops, the variety of retailers available is impressive. Whether you're looking for fashion, electronics, or home decor, you're bound to find what you need within the centre. Overall, I had a positive experience at Top Ryde Shopping Centre. With its ample parking, large food court, good restaurants, and extensive variety of shops, it provides a convenient and enjoyable shopping experience. I would definitely recommend it to anyone in the area looking for a one-stop destination for their shopping needs.

This is a very nice shopping centre. The biggest downfall for this shopping centre is the parking. Getting out is so convoluted and confusing that it's an immediate turnoff to shop there. Whoever designed this need to be severely reprimanded. There needs to be more signs for exits to Devlin road exit and Tucker road exit. It's a simple exercise yet nothing has been done since they built it. You are following the way out signs and then the Devlin road signs disappear. How much does it cost to put up good exit signs?? It's a turn off to shop at Top Ryde

The place has heaps of shops. However the way finding and signage is very bad. There is directory for shops. Especially finding events cinemas was easy. First time shopper will definately get lost. Not sure how old is the shopping centre was but it looks old and dirty. There is only 2 lifts in the main area. Not practical

One of my favourite shopping centres! It has amazing stores inside and many tasty food inside as well as around the shopping mall. There are heaps of amazing Persian restaurants and cafés around there. So if you want to do a little bit of shopping and then have some tasty Persian kebabs and traditional Persian ice cream then Top Ryde City Shopping Centre is the place to go!

My recent trip to Top Ryde Shopping Centre provided a well-rounded and satisfying shopping experience. The mall's blend of retail options, dining choices, and amenities created a positive atmosphere, although a few areas could use some enhancement. The mall's layout is easy to navigate, and the variety of stores caters to a range of shopping preferences. From popular fashion brands to specialty stores, there's a good mix of options. The presence of anchor stores and a supermarket adds convenience, making it possible to tackle various shopping needs in one visit. The food court offers a diverse range of dining choices, accommodating different tastes and dietary requirements. Whether you're craving international flavors or local favorites, you're likely to find something that appeals to your palate. The seating areas are clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable space to enjoy your meal. The mall's amenities, such as restrooms and parent rooms, are easily accessible and well-kept. This attention to detail contributes to the overall comfort of visitors, especially families with young children. One area that could be improved is the overall ambiance. While the mall is clean and functional, it lacks a certain charm or atmosphere that could enhance the overall experience. Additionally, some sections of the mall felt a bit crowded, especially during peak hours, which might impact the ease of shopping. In conclusion, Top Ryde Shopping Centre offers a satisfactory shopping experience with its variety of stores, dining options, and amenities. While there's room for improvement in terms of creating a more inviting atmosphere and managing crowds, the mall provides a convenient and diverse destination for shopping and dining. If you're looking for a comprehensive shopping trip with a range of options, Top Ryde Shopping Centre is worth considering.

One of the best and unique shopping centres. Pretty much has everything you could ask for. Parking is never an issue and given the multiple entries and exits, it's truly a great mall! They hold lots of events throughout the year and the lightning during festivals makes the mall even more aesthetic. It's got a taxi rank, a library, numerous bus stops and what not - all combined as part of a single-stop solution! It's really well maintained and clean. It has got an indoor food court and an outdoor late-night dining piazza!

This shopping centre I feel used to be better, it doesn’t feel like it has many stores anymore and I usually only come here to buy my groceries. If I want anything else like food, movies, retail shopping, I’ll head over to Macquarie Centre instead. The new arcade / bowling alley is really cool though and a great addition to Top Ryde. Checked it out with a few of my friends and we had such a good time. They have something similar to dodgem cars and really fun games I’ve never played before, I’d definitely go there again.

One of the premier shopping centers, conveniently located in Ryde, accessible by both car and public transport via bus. The center offers parking facilities accessible from A3 and Tucker Street, as far as my knowledge goes. Elevators connect different levels, hosting numerous flagship stores. Additionally, the surrounding area boasts cinemas and various amenities, including a wide array of cafes and restaurants offering diverse culinary experiences from around the world, making this center highly appealing to both tourists and shoppers alike. Similar to other shopping centers, it tends to be crowded on weekends, and finding available parking may prove challenging. It is advisable to consider parking your car on the lowest level of the car park to increase the chances of finding a spot.

Great shopping complex, have every shop you can imagine and need. Great place to eat and shop for family and plenty of activities for kids to do. The carpark is a little odd for navigating but you’ll get used to it. 3 hours free parking as well.

Great mall with heaps of options for shopping, dining and entertainment! Only few things that's missing is a good bar, an outdoor adventure accessories store like Macpac or Kathmandu and a good hardware store. Other than that, this is one fantastic mall!

Top Ryde City Shopping Centre is an outstanding centre that my family goes to all the time. It's got easy parking, the lifts and accessibility is great, if you're walking there you have that impressive bridge and lots of kids play equipment. The shops there are really good too and the place is quite stylish. I've gone there with clients too, and you have the Restaurant Level at the top as well if you want a more sit down upmarket experience (although the food courts are really good!). LOVE THEIR WORK!

We had a good shopping experience as there are plenty of famous stores and cafes. Weekdays are as busy as the weekends here. However parking is a pain. You need to navigate through some narrow spaces and curves. Else, a great place to spend some hours.

The shopping centre is very good with ample parking (3 hours free) .However, it is a bit confusing for new visitors (remember your floor and lot where you parked) The biggest problem is lifts. The other issue is trollies of one brand. Aldi is available on one side of parking, so you need to sacrifice your coin sometimes.

Top Ryde Shopping Center has undergone enormous upgrades and updates since I last visited. The addition of a Pokémon and Hotwheels vending machine have put them just a nose ahead in innovation and the ability to read the current market and trends. The shops were plentiful, and I wasn't stuck on things to see. Overall a very pleasant place to shop

Lifts and escalators are not working going down stairs but upstairs only. People are stocked at high levels and can't get out. They can easily stop the escalator so people can walk on it, but they don't. How stupid.

Good collection of shops. Ample parking spaces. Good food options. You can get all kinds of shops starting from personal care to household goods. Luxury items to discounted products. You really need more than a day to enjoy it as the parking limit is 3 hours for free and very reasonably priced after that. The kids friendly area and GameZone are really good to have a fun time with kids.

Top Ryde Shopping Center is one of my top choices for shopping. It offers a first-class shopping experience, whether you're there for retail therapy or leisurely entertainment. Firstly, the layout of the mall is very convenient, with all stores neatly arranged, making it easy for me to find what I need. Additionally, it boasts a wide variety of stores, from fashion to culinary delights, catering to almost all of my shopping needs.

Big and lovely place to spend time with family. It has changed a lot recently but for good. Lots of entertainment for kids, plenty of shops & lots of eating places. The negatives would be - the mall layout, car parks layout and the pathetic lift/ elevators which are way too slow.

  • 5/5 Tony J. 6 months ago on Google
Like this place except for the parking (don't mention Macquarie shopping centre - horrendous!) Happens to have an Indonesian food / fresh produce place that sells the best rendang I have found in Sydney along with other authentic dishes. Don't be put off by the tall Mediterranean looking gentleman that likes to serenade out the front - he's just part of the atmosphere... Otherwise a great selection of stores spread over 2 & half floors or maybe 3 & quarter, not sure which & try & remember where you parked your car

  • 2/5 IMTIAZ A. 1 year ago on Google
Although the it has lots of amenities, it lacks the organisational structure big time. As a large shopping centre, it should at least have layouts for the location of the all the shops in a visible monitor or interface so we don't have to go all the way top to bottom finding ourselves lost without even getting into the shops of our needs. Even the details in Google map does not show the exact location. It shows the shop numbers. But how would we know where does it start and which floor to go to, and which side.. Simply frustrating.

  • 5/5 Marian L. 6 months ago on Google
Love shopping here. The parking can be busy but I have always found a space. A great choice of cafes and food outlets. Clean bathrooms and places for keeping small kids occupied on a really hot day.

  • 3/5 Leo F. 7 months ago on Google
While it is the closest shopping centre and has all 3 supermarkets and BigW, Kmart, JB hifi, Dan Murphy, medical centre and many other useful shops, it has some frustrating designs. 1. Supermarkets are spread out on levels LG2 and level 1, makes it 3 levels apart 2. Even though southern escalators are mostly good, the northern escalators are very strangely long-winded and so make more people use the lifts which can then be very slow. 3. Although carparking is plentiful, if you park in one that you are unfamiliar with, the signs are confusing and make it complex to get out via the desired exit. Also, still does not have ticketless parking that most major nearby shopping centres have 4. Access to centre via Devlin St pedestrian overpasses can be unpredictable with one of the lifts on one end often not working. This makes it especially frustrating for people with prams and for cyclists Overall a convenient major shopping centre but with some room for improvements that would make it top class

Very nice shopping centre with great food options for Asian food. Came out here for the Bahn mi from the bakery near Woolworths and it was so worth the trip. Will definitely have to come back to try out some of the sushi places too!

Always love to go to this. Great number of stories including electronics, home decor, groceries and food. Plenty parking spaces, however, first time it was confusing when we wanted to drive to upper floor parking as I could not find clear direction boards. Great juice and food options as well.

  • 2/5 Vic P. 10 months ago on Google
On numerous occasions the escalators are broken meaning the lifts are crowded and take an extremely long time waiting for them. See photo of the number of persons ENTERING from just one floor...

  • 4/5 Zara 7 months ago on Google
Nice small shopping complex. It is small mall compare to other shopping centers in the region but has all necessities shops. Parking is a hassle here. Be ready to spend long time to find a spot to park specially Fridays and weekends.

  • 3/5 Valent L. 11 months ago on Google
A strangely shaped shopping centre with mismatched travelators and escalators. The lifts are very slow but the top levels are better now with an extra escalator, the bottom levels they didn't have any space to add more. The car park is a maze, takes a few times to get used to getting around. For example you must go to b2 to exit. Even if you parked on b1. Still uses paper tickets shockingly.

This place is spacious and big. There are many shops and seating spots in every floor for customers to take a rest in. The toilets are very clean, well maintained and well designed for customer convenience, too. It has both Woolies and Coles, a chemist, lots of retail and food places.

  • 4/5 Sam S. 1 year ago on Google
The convenience is certainly a plus. It does not look that large from the outside but, the parking can be a bit confusing. It took us a few trips to get our head around where is what and where to park for better access. Also, there are a couple of corner islands and if an escalator does not work, you will get stuck and have to wait for the lifts for quite a bit of time to get to the other side or another level.

  • 4/5 Em K. 9 months ago on Google
I’m sure I only see a very small fraction of this shopping centre! It has a good variety of stores and an excellent selection of places to eat. Good maximum heights in car park at 2.2m.

  • 3/5 nanditha s. 1 year ago on Google
Good shopping centre but the lift situation is nightmarish. The lifts are placed in inconvenient locations and not the most accessible. When you want to ditch the horrid, long wait for the lifts and take the escalator instead - lo and behold! The escalators are ‘Under Maintenance’ and not usable. So, you make your way to the other side of the shopping centre to access shops or parking or exits. It is especially hard if you have a trolley or pram. Good luck navigating the shopping centre during school holidays or public holidays. It’s an absolute nightmare! The variety of shops are good but could be better. The supermarkets, Kmart and BigW are the crowd pullers.

I am a care worker which was looking after a 79 year old female client involved in an incident at the pathology centre today. I would like to give mention about the security team that assisted us through this incident as they were absolutely brilliant. Not only did they arrive to the scene incredibly quickly but they were also very attentive and helpful. The original security officer who arrived was very friendly. He called in help immediately, helped me with explaining to the ambulance what was happening and he stayed with us throughout the entire waiting time which was probably close to 3 hours. The security Supervisor (Matthew was his name I think) who then arrived to the scene took down lots of notes, called a doctor from the medical centre next door to check on my client and make sure she was okay. He took down all the relevant information from my client while keeping her laughing and smiling with his brilliant sense of humour. After speaking to the ambulance several times we figured they were going to take forever and so he began to contact all different kinds of emergency Services personal to see if we can't get someone to help. Even after sitting on the floor for hours and being in agony my client left with the biggest smile on her face and was so grateful as was I to have such extraordinary people there to support us through this very distressing situation. I cannot express how brilliant they were. I do hope that they get the recognition they deserve for this especially the supervisor. NOT ALL HEROES WEAR CAPES. SOME OF THEM WEAR SECURITY UNIFORMS.

Most of the time, this place has the right places I need/want such as Kmart, Woolies/Coles, Dan Murphy, medical and Pathology centres and beauty places too. Entering and navigating through the car pack can be confusing for the first 10-20 visits or so. Once you get used to it, you might find the right entrance and preferred level 90% of the time (lots of levels). It would be great to have a department store like Myer again one day!

The staff are great with kids, especially ones who are impossible to sit still. I'm really happy with the fact they were more interested identifying if glasses were even needed in my son case instead of dismissing our concerns or worse pushing unnecessarily expensive frame on us. If you have a young kid who is showing strange behaviours when trying to read, look at the whiteboard or watch TV then give these guys a go.

Retail sectors scattered all over the place (food shops for example are at different ends to each other). Lifts are constantly out of service resulting in long queues for the working one and with a community which lacks understanding and courtesy often ignoring the sign to prioritise people with shopping trolleys, elderly, prams and disabled fall on deaf ears, worst still is the unsympathetic people who choose to blame those most in need of the lifts than call out the selfish lazy types who took up the lifts when they are abled bodied with hardly anything to carry. The facility and layout is generally satisfactory, but don't expect any kindness there.

  • 4/5 Matthew K. 3 years ago on Google
Great shipping centre, only real issue is the escalator setup is poor on the lower levels which then makes everyone use the lifts which are always packed

The cinemas are clean even though the seats are fixed and don't recline. Buy with gift cards and in person to save some money. There's always plenty of parking (drive up to the topmost floor). They start the preludes on time, punctual with the movie. Some screens are smaller than others, but are sufficiently loud. You get another free hour of Parking with your ticket so 4 hours in all. Lots of restaurants in the malls so good food options. The app is excellent and easy to use, eliminating paper tickets. Apart from seats, everything else is top notch. Would recommend. The food is all self service. Just walked in and Lisa found the colour I wanted straight away. She also does fantastic nail art. Rosa Nails and Beauty next to Cotton On in the food court has lovely friendly staff.

We asked if he would serve us a $20 Burger special (another day) rather than pay $30 menu price. HE said no so we eft No food option for Monday lunch (only alcohol in the late afternoon) No seniors discount. No compromise. No reason to stay.

Not all escalators worked. Difficult to find the shops. If you use different escalators went you go back to your car you have to guess where you are. All you know is which aisle you are in. But which end??? NOT GOOD. But the service is good in the shops. Also there is ONLY ONE INFORMATION DESK, and only on one level. VERY, VERY POOR.

Modern building design, with plenty of car parking spaces on the basement levels. It also has a bridge connecting to the other side of the road, sheltered bus stops outside and close to various other services. Very well managed and has a Concierge/Info Desk to help you find your way around and a comprehensive set of lifts and escalators. Ryde Council's Library is also located somewhere within the building. Would be better if the NSW Government can construct a metro station outside Top Ryde to reduce the number of traffic along the main road.

One of the worst Shopping Centre in Sydney. Parked at the level "best for cinemas" and it was actually the furthest away. Couldn't find parking on the entrance level so I went to the top and it was empty, for good reason because you're literally in a giant room with 4 walls and one stairs that take you to the level below. To get to the cinemas (from the bottom) you either have to take escalators which you need to loop the centre each time to get to the next one or you take the lifts (one up, one down only) which are always busy because people cram in with their shopping trolleys so there is a long wait in each level. When you are at the lifts the level information tries to direct you to an escalator. Don't expect a quick visit because there is a lot of walking and/or waiting. Shops are very separated and there is a lot of empty space. It's definitely a very awkward centre to be at. The only upside is that it's not crowded.

This is one of the massive shopping centres near me and convenient. I sometimes get lost because of the massive number of shops. All the mobile services providers are here and easy to access from level two. From Optus, Vodafone and Telstra. Lot of restaurants are outside from level three.

Nice neat and modern shopping centre with almost everything you need. Basement car parks a bit labyrinthine but we’ll sign posted. Know your exit street otherwise can be a challenge to get out. I’ll come back!

There have been many stores closing down at this centre that many customers rely on, and in place they continuously put in more service stores that we don’t need. Maybe the owners should consider lowering the rent. Also side note, what kind of Christmas decorations are these, what a joke!!!

About Strand bag store Top Ryde: Worst ever service , staff is really rude and doesn't help if we ask any questions.I can give zero if it is possible . Bad experience never go to this outlet again and would never recommend to anyone either. I visited the site this evening and for the entire hour that sales staff was very busy browsing her phone. Couple of customer left just as she didn't help anyone around. I think it's waste having her at the store. It can better a self service store. Also her attitude to check on stocks was rude, I felt like leaving the store without getting the bag. Spoiling the reputation of the store.

Nice mall. Lot's of walking areas so you don't get much congestion. I go here for my Laser at Laser Clinics Australia, they're really good! All the staff are professional and friendly, efficient and knowledgeable.
