I was there tonight and the way patients are treated in emergency is pure disgrace. Playing musical chairs moving from one chair to another whilst holding a sick child or worse even someone that had a leg injury was told to keep changing chairs till we were assessed. Also if the receptionist’s continue to service people with no sympathy and no respect oh & A I don’t care attitude.. maybe go find another job if your that unhappy serving sick people that need your help. I was in emergency from 4.30pm and was still waiting at7.40pm with a 4 year old on me and it was seriously worse than a zoo! I went outside to grab warm clothes and food and when I got back my name had been called. I said can I please go next in line and she could see my 4 year had slept on me and I was uncomfortable.. her answer was “you probably have to wait another 3 hours or more” without even checking or even attempt to find out. By that stage I was so frustrated I left. I told her to take my sons name off as I’m leaving. Again no attempt at trying to see if there was anything she could do. What happened to customer service liverpool hospital, shame on you considering it was a child with breathing difficulties that needed your attention.

Honestly, the worst hospital I have ever been to. I visited this hospital a few months ago and was disappointed in the care level given to me however it’s my local hospital so, I presented there again Tuesday morning 5am in agony. My muscles were stiff and very sore. I could hardly walk. My head was aching so bad I could hardly keep my eyes open. When the nurse first spoke to me I was honest in telling them that I had consumed an illicit substance at a party on Monday just in case my symptoms had anything to do with that. Their attitude then changed really quick toward me and I was basically just looked at like nothing. This made me very frustrated. I waited until about 8pm where a mental health team member spoke to me and then not until around 10am was I checked, over by a doctor. He did a very basic examination of me and told me it was a reaction to the drug I took. He gave me panadeine forte and Valium as I was very anxious and asked me to speak to drug and health. I declined as I do not have an addiction to this substance I do it recreationally. I asked the doctor if he needed to run anymore tests and he said no, it’s a common side effect and was very rude to me. As I was waiting to get my medication I could hear the staff saying very negative things about me which caused me to cry and feel horrible about myself. I didn’t get home till about 11:30am that morning and went straight to sleep. I then woke up in the middle of the night coughing, body still aching and my head throbbing. I decided I would take a rapid test for covid at home to which I tested POSITIVE. I am so angry this could have been dealt with so much better. The care factor the doctor had for me was none and now I am stuck at home alone, no pain relief, haven’t eaten anything and I have no one to care for me. If you need health assistance do not go to Liverpool hospital. You’re better off going to Campbelltown or a medical centre in my opinion. I will never attend that hospital again. Absolutely hopesless, unprofessional and rude staff.

Took my mother into emergency due to very high blood pressure readings which did not drop in addition to chest pains, blurred vision and dizziness. Got blood tests, x-rays and additional blood pressure readings done which was actioned within a relatively reasonable timeframe. However, waiting for a doctor to provide the results was another story. Results from the blood tests and x-rays were available, however 7.5 hours later we were still waiting in emergency for the results. We ended up leaving just before 6am as we could not wait any longer due to work commitments. We arrived at 10:30pm and the blood test results and x-rays were available some time later. Saw the nurse who took additional blood pressure readings and confirmed everything now appeared good, however the doctor needed to go through the results (which was completely fair, however, waiting that long as a Private health insurance patient was absolutely ridiculous). I just expected better service by from having top tier hospital cover. If you do find yourself in an “emergency” I would reconsider going to Liverpool Hospital as your Private Health cover does not provide you with any additional priority or urgency. The service by the nurses was very thorough, welcoming and professional. The service by all other staff we found quite questionable. At times we felt like we were spoken to in a very condescending way (hands on hips and talking down to us level of condescending). Finally, there are two reception windows. One that reads “patient enquires” and the other that reads “patients come here first”. It would be prudent for you to add some sort of signage at the windows to confirm what patients need to do. For example a sign at the ‘Patient enquiries’ window that reads “If you are a new patient, please register at this window” and at the ‘Patients come here first window’ a sign which reads, “Please come to this window if you are an existing patient or if you have already registered at the Patient enquiries window”. This will reduce the noise and complaints and won’t contribute to the already convoluted process to check in. Two stars for the outstanding service and care provided by the nurses. I wish I could give additional stars for the overall experience but unfortunately, it was not a great experience.

The Nurses and Doctors are so understaffed but are the best I've ever experienced. Their level of knowledge and skill is generally amazing and the empathy and caring they provide is outstanding. Especially when considering the work load. They all deserve a pay rise and the government should be ashamed of itself.

If someone needs to see worlds worst hospital system and most pathetic customer service this is the place you need to visit! I do not think there are any bigger fail in whole Australia than this Liverpool hospitals emergency department! I wonder if this hospital have an operational manager and if that manager have minimum qualification for his post and control over its staff! A bunch of careless, untrained, pathetic people wasting tax payers money! What a pure disgrace for NSW health system! You guys are definitely not short with resources! While 6 clown sitting and doing rubbish talk between each other! Be a normal human being! Customer service people are extremely rude, have no clue what they doing, no time management, no respect to the patent, no system in place which prioritised most vulnerable patent's! If you really need treatment do not bother to visit that place! If you are not even sick this people will make u sick! The girl at the counter laughs at people when they cried in pain! I felt disgusted in my stomach after seeing that! I really pray and hope one day this staff members will be on other side of the desk like us and goes through the same horror people goes through here! Most funny thing is this people thinks they are untouchable! And they actually are!

I have an open mind to public hospitals and have huge admiration and respect for all health professionals.. but this hospital and the emergency room is like something out of a American Horror story episode. Not only is hospital FILTHY you wait 12 hours to see a doctor with an emergency in an emergency room with uncleaned vomit on the floor ( left there hours ) , blood fresh all in the parents baby room , more blood on chairs . I was mortified this is actually happening in Australia. It was like a third world hospital . Actually a third world hospital may be more professional.A fight broke out in the waiting room . A lady standing dripping in blood no assistance . No wonder the staff are so abrasive , cold and complacent.I expect they get a lot of abuse and working in that unhygienic environment. As a health professional myself I was mortified as to all that I saw and experienced. I have documented my poor treatment and the failings of the hospital to provide a follow up and acceptable level of care . After my experience I will be contacting the ombudsman because Australians deserve better than this . Dont even consider taking a child to this place. Disgusting!

Sat in emergency on 28th Oct from 9pm till 4am. Seen by a young Indian doctor who asked me 5 questions and let me go home. I was told there is no surgeons available over the weekend for blocked artery that I went for. I can barely walk and am in excruciating pain but it seems like these young doctors are fresh from the Uni and have no idea what treatments should be given. No pain killers or anything was prescribed or administered. Then this staff named Jess at the patient info counter with the worst attitude when we asked for our documents back. The ED was filthy with rubbish laying around on the floor. I was in so much pain to think about taking photos. Doc told me that my condition of blocked artery was serious as the clot can travel to my heart but he had no idea how to help me. Its a joke this place. When my daughter told them that she will take action if my mom suffers heart attack at home, the staff Jess said” yea no problems”. These people don’t work because they are sympathetic or passionate about their jobs, but they become nurses for money. Working in this profession myself for over 20 years, I was shocked at these staffs attitude towards people who are in pain. Remember no one wants to sit in ED just because they have nothing to do but because they are suffering so have abit of compassion towards the people. If you want to be treated with politeness then FIRST learn to be polite too. Its give and take. Waste of time visiting this hospital’s ED which I will never be doing or recommend anyone to do so. Shame on you JESS girl..

Unfortunately there is no less than one star to rate Liverpool hospital emergency. I waited more than 4 hours in the waiting room from 12am to 4am today to be called in and the nurse tells me you won’t see the doctor before 2 more hours. The wait time, the rudeness of the nurses and staff is just another level of very poor customer/patient service. I ended up leaving and visiting a GP in the morning. Totally not recommended.

My son just released from this clinic. The training specialist and medical officer, who are not yet qualified to be considered as licensed and registered specialist, are already have big heads and no empathy to the needs of the patient and the family involved. Most of the staff are just pretending to be busy. They all look at the computer terminals, even nurses, they don't even read the records for the patient and just pushes you away. You can really feel that they don't want to help and provide what you needed. They expect you to keep waiting, while what you needed are already done. You just need to ask a print out of the results, they make your request as a difficult tasks to them. Danielle Herman. she is hesitant to provide me the printout of the blood test. When they called us, the training specialist, Nasim Boksmati, is just bluffing me, about the tests done but no test was done at all, as advised by the male nurse. This is the worst public hospital that I have encountered. Is this where the taxpayer's money going....paying these people who wants to be a field of medical care but does not care..... Our government should not even try to pay them at higher rate though they asked. They should be paid depending how they show professionalism and empathy to all of their patients and their family. I suggest that the government should always request a client feedback every time we are released from this clinic so you have the visibilty what kind of people who are hiring and working for this hospital. The toilet stinks....

This hospital is absolutely disgraceful. Completely understaffed, unbelievable lengthy queues and the most unprofessional and unskilled admin, medical staff (nurses, doctors, surgeons) I have ever met. My 16 year old brother was wrongly discharged 4 x with wrong diagnosis. Doctors simply discharge a patient without sufficient testing purely because they are under resourced and overwhelmed with patients. They openly laugh at patients have no concern over the patients wellbeing simply because they are “too busy”. The entire management team should be fired for accepting such terrible standards in Australia in 2023??? Hire and train more medical personnel so you can more efficiently treat your growing number of patients!

I was skeptical of the reviews before going there. But what a horrible service. Utterly useless doctors that are slower then a snail. I went there as my 2 year old Son was really sick. I finally left the ER after waiting 4 hours (Yes 4 hours) and no doctor came to check on my son. NSW health really really need to investigate and audit this hospital and why they don’t do their job. They should be held accountable and strict action should be taken against the lazy staff.

DON'T GO THERE BECAUSE YOU'LL GET NO HELP! I went there last night to get some help on some terrible allergy reactions. In total, I waited for 7.5 hours until 5am and still couldn't be treated. From the get go, the comments I got from the nurses were there's not much they could do apart from making a specialist appointment which I already did. First of all, I waited one hour just to be triaged, it was almost like I had to beg them to accept me as a patient. The triage nurse told me that it'd be 1 to 2 hours wait, if nothing happens at 2 hours, go find her. And I did, she told me there were only 2 patients before me. Another hour passed, I got to see the doctor for 2 MINS. Took a tablet and a blood test. They told me if I don't feel better in 30 mins, they can do something else for me and the blood test results should be back in one hour. Another hour passed, I told them I'm not feeling better, in fact, it was worse. I talked to the lady at patient enquiries and a nurse NUMEROUS TIMES, all they said was you're on the list to see a doctor, we don't know how long. To a point, every hospital staff was OUT OF SIGHT and NOWHERE TO BE FOUND for HOURS! The triage nurse has finished her shift at this point. 2 more hours passed, at least 5 patients have left the ED without seeing a doctor and waited just as long as I did. When a doctor came out to call another patient, I walked up and talked to her, her words :" Unfortunately I'm the only doctor working here. There are many other patients have waited longer than you did. I don't see anything on your blood test results that are concerning. I can't give you a prescription and there's nothing else I can do for you." So then I walked to a nurse to take out the needle on my arm and left, she told me to see a GP, that was 5am in the morning. To the doctor, if you knew my test results and no further treatment can be provided, why didn't you just have a one minute conversation with me? Instead, you kept me there waiting for hours for absolutely nothing! If this ER represents our healthcare system, I have absolutely no hope. I think unless I'm near death, they would probably, just probably, spare some time on me. I'm never ever going back there, there are so many red flags and so much more improvements needed.

Absolutely disgusted, went in via ambulance and after that there was no care what so ever. The nurse’s are rude and uncaring. Was taken into the emergency waiting area after my COVID test came back negative with a fever and severe stomach cramps and no where to lie down to give myself comfort. I asked to have my cannula taken out the nurse was extremely rude to a point I said I’d take it out myself. I was left crying in the waiting area. All this and I finally find out not because of their medical expertise that I’ve got vibrio parahaemolyticus contamination though recalls of oysters on the news that I ate on two occasions. They only care about stretching out their work load when there isn’t much work going considering the emergency waiting area was pretty much empty. I’m disgusted!! Filthy lazy nurses and doctors. If you want better treatment go to Campbelltown or ask your ambulance to go to Campbelltown especially when they expect you to pay a lot of money for an ambulance. Also the receptionist ‘sissy’ or ‘Sophie’ is rude and speaks over you. Refuses to put you through to anyone that handled you whilst you were there. She needs to find another job! Totally unprofessional and nasty.

My first time going to the emergency room in Liverpool hospital and shocking is an understatement. With all the tax dollars going to medical, there needs to be a better process. Why did I wait 6 hours to just be given Panadol and Advil? Having to re-explain my symptoms to every nurse and doctor is emotionally and physically exhausting. I felt no one took me seriously and I was sent home even more discouraged and in pain. I was there alone with no family or advocate. I have a recurring fever that hasn’t left for a month. Chest, shoulder and back pains when breathing, shivers, dizziness, no appetite. Chest X-ray, bloods, ecg and urine came back clear with no sign of infection but with my GP’s advice - I must have an underlying chronic condition for these symptoms and recurring fevers. I don’t know what to do and im scared. I have decided to go back to my GP and get referrals. It will take longer but at least I will have personal care without being dismissed.

As a facility implemented to preserve life this place is absolutely appalling, and the NSW health department should be ashamed to call this facility a hospital. My father was here for a little over three weeks. During that time, he had excellent care from one particular nurse that genuinely cares about his very important role. The rest were absolutely disgusting. You have nurses prioritising their attention to wealthy dying patients in an attempt to get some money when they have passed while there are three other beds to attend with meal trays, used tissues, and gown / glove waste laying all over the place. I should not have had to finish work, drive to the hospital and then clean my father's room because your nurses refuse to complete all aspects of their role. My dad had food brought to him on four occasions I'm aware of when he was nil by mouth for surgery. You sure know how to psychologically mess with a person already in a challenging situation as it is! A bit of communication goes a long way! To top things off. I call the hospital to discuss collecting belongings after my father's passing only to be told they can't find any of his items. Ward 3A didn't have anything, nor did palliative care, so where did they go? It has not been three months since his passing, so you had no legal grounds to disregard the items! Not only do you have terrible practices, but you also have thieves in your facility! If you value, the lives and care of your loved ones. steer clear of this place. A formal complaint has been made to NSW health.

Great service. Kourtney the triage nurse was so helpful and caring. As soon as I got to emergency room I was greeted by a very nice man who added me to the system then 5 mins later I got seen my Kourtney, straight after by the doctor, completed the required tests then sent me into the waiting room. Didn’t wait long until I was sent to x ray for chest, straight in then blood tests were done so rapidly. Shout out to Hind, Annabelle, and Dr Johnson the specialist in the emergency rooms today (not sure if that’s her name) they were caring, friendly, and genuinely wanted to assist as best as possible. May god bless you all and thank you for looking after our sick in these horrible times.

What a disgrace!! As soon as I walked in I see patients sleeping around with with fluid bags attached to their arms in the waiting room which no one came to check up on them! My relative was fainting next to me when i wanted to seek some assistance I had to wait so long for the nurse to assist me. As I was telling the nurse that my relative is fainting and can’t breathe, she kept insisting that we have to take a seat and wait. We then got to the emergency ward, which very sick patients were cramped up in one tiny room!! Every nurse walked right past the room and not even checking up on the patients. Absolutely disgusted and appalled!

Nursing staff: great. Doctors: fantastic. Administration: absolutely horrendous. I was excited to be told by my surgeon this morning that I could go home early. Wheeled into the discharge lounge more than five hours ago, I'm still waiting - with no hint of anything happening over the next five hours.

After being picked up by an ambulance at 10:35 and dropped off at 11:00. I am finally being seen by a nurse it’s currently 4:32pm they gave me Panadol and a drip and told me to go back to the waiting room and wait. My partner told me to drive to Sutherland or Bowral hospital. There are no seats and only 3 nurses working and about 70 people in the emergency room waiting to be seen. This isn’t a reflection on the nurses. But NSW health is a complete joke of a government organisation and needs a complete audit. The fact that people are sitting on floors with drips in their arms for the last 3 hours that I’ve seen. I spoke to one man who has been here since 7:30am with a laceration to his lower arm showing tendons. But he is still waiting. The fact the government has the audacity to take money out of my paycheck for this is disgusting. The nurses try there best but obviously the issue is NSW health as they clearly have no idea what to do.

I had a horrible experience with emergency services at this hospital. They were shuffling me along and not explaining what they were doing. I was left waiting for hours not knowing when I would be called in. As a casual contact, of course I expect to be placed in a separate room but they were just awful. They gave me a really uncomfortable mask along with a face shield and insisted on shutting the door in an enclosed room where I was claustrophobic. After asking 3 times within the hour, they couldn’t tell me when I was going to see someone until the covid test came back. They were not accomodating which I didn’t respond well to. After my negative result and waiting 3 hours they tell me I was still not assigned to a doctor. Basically the system is such that you have to pay for private health insurance. You’re otherwise nothing in this system. Unless you’re having a heart attack or life threatening crisis you get mistreated here.

If I could give negative stars I would. This hospital is a joke and always has been. Public Holiday affected medical centre availability and the only remaining option was this pathetic excuse of a 'Hospital.' Stayed 8 hours in emergency for a patient with serious health conditions and risk - never admitted and it took 2 hours for the doctor and staff to provide discharge papers. The end result? A prescription. For an industry that receives plenty of funding, there's 10 nurses to every 1 doctor and people sit and waste their life away in the 'emergency room'. Id love to see what the 'regular rooms' are like. Do better.

I broke my knee at a basketball game and called triple zero for an ambulance. Waited 1 whole hour the ambulance didn’t arrive. After another call for triple zero they informed that someone will come with the next 40 mins. 2 hours passed finally the ambulance arrived. The paramedic just looked at my knee and said it’s all good and nothings wrong with it but I was having severe pain. She kept on saying it’s because of Ice. Then we came to the Liverpool hospital which was the closest from the incident that took place. I arrived there at 3pm and have been waiting till 7.13pm and no response yet. I’m originally from Sri Lanka and being a 3rd world country the healthcare system in Sri Lanka is way bette than in Australia. Emergency is an emergency but the staff and doctors who work at LIVERPOOL HOSPITAL DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE PATIENTS AT ALL. They have fun talking to each other and making fun of all the patients instead of treating them. This is so bad! PLEASE BE RESPONSIBLE AND HELP THE PATIENTS. We didn’t come here to see the staff giggling with each other and having fun.

The emergency department here is disgusting, if i could give it zero stars i would. Went in with swallowing problems and was sent home instead of it being investigated. They told me that because I didn't have breathing problems It was fine. But i do have muscle weakness in my mouth and throat if I drink fluid I choke or it comes out my nose and food gets stuck in my throat BUT, its not worth investigating. If I had breathing problems then it would mean that food or fluid had already gone into my lungs causing aspiration . Then when I got home I called the after hours manager who was so rude, his attitude was disgusting, he just told me to go back to emergency and wait to be seen by a Doctor again. No thanks I'll take my chances with pneumonia.

Thank you so much for all the nurses and doctors for their hard work and dedication. During my time here, I felt everyone was trying their best despite how overly busy it is. Staff were attentive and kept me updated throughout the whole process. Everything was explained clearly and nurses go beyond their call of duty at times. Thank you again and apologies for taking up your resources.

The doctors and nurses saved my life. I came in at 3:30am with anaphylaxis symptoms, I was taken to the emergency bed and treated with adrenaline after a short consultation. Doctors Chris Loupos and Amy, nurses Monik and Sam, and the nurse at the triage room were giving the best care and professional treatment that they can. They were so patient in explaining the steps of what they were doing, come to check on me when they can to see the progress. They have to work on many other life critical patience at the same time. Even in this high pressure environment, they were gentle and caring to not only me but to all other patients. Monik would hum some tunes when she’s near me to calm me down, her sense of humour eased me a lot in the serious situation. They are like angels to me and seeing how they work throughout my stay in the ER, I have the highest respect to the doctors and nurses in the Liverpool Hospital Emergency department, they deserve the best respect, payrise and support from the public. 💕

I can say its a bitter sweet at Liverpool hospital. I say this because it depends who you come across at the hospital. Sometime happy staff or mean stuff (I don't mean their bad, but meaning as in their stressed out, had a long day, burn out) Hospital parking is out of this world so hopefully that extra car park be finishing soon. Long rant short maybe more direction or more maps better explaining where to find the rooms we need to go to it's still confusing at times. 🤔

Went in for post surgery complications and was treated with respect and the right treatment. Yes it was a very long night but people should understand that the hospital is for EMERGENCIES. The staff are doing their best to accommodate everyone and treat people accordingly. A special thank you to the triage nurses who have to be so professional and provide their care and services. And be the front line to all the people who get frustrated on the waiting times. Thank you Tilly for being so caring and understanding in my treatment. She actually called the ER her family, working there for many years. It was a shame to see that the ER is so run down, the staff are working in chaotic conditions and the facility is not kept clean with so many people coming through with all sorts of health issues not once did I see a cleaner come by even to change bins. Government needs to take a tour and start helping. Staff - 5 Stars Facility - 1 Star

Would have rated better if every rules and regulations were adhered with visitiors and not bent with individuals. ICU visitors are allowed to be there between 10-8pm and thats with only 1 visitor ONLY! Saw this people came with the teenager daughter and father to see their sickly person. 🤦🏼‍♂️ But othe administration lafy allowed it while she was denyed with other admin.? Its not fair. Our families are waiting to see all of us together how come they are not!!

This is the most HORRIBLE, NEGLIGENT hospital in Sydney. My aunt went in for an ovarian cyst and ended up with lung and ovarian infection and bleeding. As well as pneumonia. They had to do scans because they thought they had perforated her bowel or uterus. They burned her with an extremely hot heat pack where she now has 5 big blisters. They have put her life at risk and she almost died. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! They wouldn’t allow her to transfer or go to another hospital either and tried to push back with fear tactics and constant lying.

Service is very terrible. You just see staff and nurses chatting nonsense to each other while patients are waiting for hours to be called in. Such a waste of time!!! Seriously, they need to hire and put more doctors in the emergency area. Because patients go to emergency to be seen ASAP! NOT TO WAIT HALF A DAY OR MORE! VERY FRUSTRATING!!!

I gave birth here at Liverpool Hospital, had to be induced early at 37 weeks and the midwives/doctors have been amazingly supportive throughout the whole process! I can't thank them all enough for keeping myself and my baby boy safe. I've had a beautiful experience despite the unseen complications during the pregnancy and birth!

Liverpool eye clinic is a place where psychopaths enjoy torturing clients. Severe breach of COVID social distance and bad treatment.

Liverpool Hospital is a hospital of excellence despite being positioned in Liverpool. A few weeks ago I was operated on in the Gastroenterology Clinic by Dr. Milan Basson, and his team. The surgery was game changing for me and has returned so many pleasures to my life. The hospital is undergoing massive rebuilding work and so there are a few disruptions but, generally speaking, it is going well. It is THE STAFF that make the hospital such a great place. Yes, I would have preferred my own room, as a Private patient, Yes, it could have been quieter while I recovered, etc. But, the service was excellent. Thank You Liverpool Hospital.

Female psychiatrist showed no empathy or understanding what a person with high anxiety and depression goes through. Recommended a website that requires payment. Thanks for that but I needed professional help. The mental health system is broken. Good psychiatrists are all booked out 2-3 months in advance.

I came In on Sunday very crook. I was very well looked after and treated so nicely. It was a long day but the nurses were doing their best. They were so busy and did not stop, I dont even think they had breaks. Great Job and thank you for all of your time and help. I feel alot better. 😊 Heather R.

A shame I couldn't give a higher rating for the majority of midwives in antenatal. Most of them were amazing besides a few. Reason for the 2 stars is because of my terrible experience with birthing unit reception staff the night I went into active labour. Long story short, staff were rude and turned me away because they said there was no room available. They didn't give an alternate solution but just kept saying, "we can't have her give birth in the waiting area" like where was I supposed to give birth? Out on the streets Aren't you called birthing unit for a reason? But no, that's what they just kept repeating while I was crying in pain from labour. Eventually a room became available and i went ahead and gave birth shortly after...but I wasn't impressed with the way they handled the situation so unprofessionally. I plan to have a homebirth or go to a different hospital if I do decide to have a second child. First impressions count and this surely left a bad taste in my mouth.

I recently came to Liverpool hosptial as my daughter broke her arm. Before we were even seen a staff member offered her a bag of ice and organized the triage line so she did not have to keep moving. Once we were in emergency every single person we dealt with was so kind and caring towards myself and my daughter. Despite the ward being full and the staff being run off their feet they took the time to explain what was happening next and always had a smile on their face. All of the staff I had the pleasure of interacting with were a delight and a credit to the hospital.

I am 9 weeks and 5 days pregnant. I came to the Liverpool emergency section as I was having bad pain in my stomach. The lady in the inquiry section keeps telling me you will be seen soon by one of the doctors as I have been waiting for the last 5 hours. And now after 5 hours they are offering me pain relief tablets and laughing. They said only 2 Doctors are working if you have bleeding let us know. Like they are waiting for miscarriages. As you can see most of the beds are empty but still, there is no one to look after me. This is disgusting. If anything happens to my baby I am going to take strict action against them. The staff doesn't have any manners on how to deal with patients. I am still waiting for Doctors to come and see me. Now it's 7 hours of waiting for the last 2 hours they said there was only 1 patient in front of me. And the staff is very rude. I left hospitals without seeing Dr. If anything happens to me or my baby LIVERPOOL EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT and the whole staff will be responsible.

Came to the emergency department because I have a thrombosis in my leg although I am on very high dosage of blood thinners. Been here for 4 hrs, haven't been seen by a Dr yet cause apparently it's not high risk. Nurse tells my husband the Drs will see her and discharge her, no need for any scans to be done as clots can be "resolved in the community". So my GP sends me urgently to hospital but apparently it's not urgent enough for them to react. Also, I asked for a blanket to put on my leg because it's getting cold; the answer was: "we don't give blankets as they are tripping hazards " ... 🤷 Disgusting. I wish I can leave -stars review.

Extremely long wait. Came here with my grandmother after she sustained a deep laceration on her hand. We’ve been waiting for over 3 hours and she started to lose feeling of her hand

The NURSES are extremely kind, incredibly supportive and most compassionate people ever! I had an emergency quinsy removal today. One of the nurses (sorry I didn’t manage to get her name) made me feel calm and collected at all times. Amongst the regular check ups, blood tests and initiating the iv and antibiotics and even during the quinsy removal. She helped make the entire experience very comforting with kind gestures, having conversations (about crocs haha) that distracted my mind from my fear of needles/injections and even encouraging words like “you got this”, “your doing awesome” and holding my nervously shaking legs during the quinsy removal. Overall, the nurse continuously went above and beyond to provide the best patient-centred care which significantly eased all my state anxieties and felt super welcomed and supported throughout the entire process. Also shoutout to another nurse who made a joke about where the cannula is supposed to go haha. Also shoutout to the student nurse for being so kind and supportive as well. Also shoutout to the EMT for her continuously accommodating and encouraging during the entire quinsy operation.
