Portugese chicken has really nice sauce. I found it quite odd that at lunch time, they had to reheat their roast chicken on the BBQ grill, but it ended up pretty good in the end. Service is nice and friendly

One of the best places for chicken in North Ryde. I love their Portuguese chicken with hot chilli sauce. I like almost everything from this place. Their fried rice, roast veggies, rice pudding, pesto pasta with sun dried tomatoes are few other favourites of mine. It's a clean place, can get busy at lunch time. There are few seats to sit & enjoy your food outside. The staff are very friendly. I mean, like really friendly. Will make you feel welcomed even during busy times.

A roasted chicken specialist shop. Exceptional quality and very reasonable price. There are types of roasted chicken can be chosen from, BBQ, Portuguese and Hanasa.

I have frequented this shop for over a decade and a half but the owner is now ripping me off, everytime I come the older woman keeps charging me for half a chicken as two quarters or a full chicken as 4 quarters. I know times are tough but that doesn't mean you can breach ACL. Congratulations you just lost not only me as a customer but my entire family. I Hope a couple of dollars each transaction was worth losing roughly $1.5k-$2.7k annually from my family plus the people who will see this review and also decide not to go to your shop.

Waited 10 min in an empty restaurant after ordering a wrap, asked how much longer it'd be and the lady said she would start the order in another 10 min. Didn't realise she hadn't started, so I cancelled and she just replied 'I'm busy'. Definitely won't be coming here ever again.

Recommend for takeaway chicken. Great taste and good price for the chickens. Salads are not as good and the price is also a bit more than places with salad specially. Not much space for sitting.

One of the best BBQ chicken in the area. I like their Portuguese chicken. Soft, smooth and juicy. Unlike other BBQ chicken shops. The menu is not easy to read, you will need some patience and intelligence to understand what is included in different set meal. Street parking only. Limited seats, mainly serve takeaway in the neighbourhood.

After a few more visits, I’ve updated my rating to 5 stars. Something as simple as rating charcoal chicken requires a deceptive amount of meticulous analysis to get the balance right. Skin: 5/5 The chicken is roasted well, with the skin done decently. Sufficient colouration and not too much charring. Stuffing: 5/5 This one is a fundamental requirement to a good chicken. The flavour of herbs and mash consistency is key. This shop has done it well. I’ve eaten here a few more times and have to say it’s definitely a 5 now. Meat: 5/5 No complaints here. Chips: 4/5 Can't rate a charcoal chicken shop without the classic vanilla accomplice. The chips were decent. Crispy where they needed to be. Seasoning was adequate. Some were unfortunately a tad overfried. Value: 4/5 Compared to other shops of a similar nature, this is much more pricier. This holds true for the combos on the menu. However, i feel the price is justified by the quality. Menu: 5/5 I'm impressed by the salads and the roast vegetables were excellent. Although I'm not here for these, they're worth a mention. Verdict: 5/5 Chicken, stuffing, and chips are great. Would recommend.

I went to buy a half a BBQ chicken, small chips and small pasta salad for lunch for my mum and myself only to get it home to discover unsalted chips, dry chicken and the pasta salad was half juice and very oily. I won't be going back.

Loved the Generous Delight Burger (mine had garlic and chilli sauce). They make the smashed patty themselves; it's well seasoned and so tasty. The staff seem to take a lot of pride in their food. Would recommend.

Have been visiting this family run business for quite some time now. Staff are always friendly, the quality of food is always excellent and is great value for money. Keep up the great work guys!

Got the family deal chicken, chips were not nice very dry no flavour and the roasted veggies looked promising but wasn’t hot and missing flavour too. I ended up getting slight food poisoning from one of the dishes, I’m assuming it’s the roasted veggies since they were on the cool side and who knows how long they were sitting there for during the day.
