We recently had catering for a large party at our house for Diwali by Thornleigh Curry house. Both food and service were exceptional. Highly recommend them. They made the process of ordering for a large party so easy.

Delicious curries, tasty desserts and good service. The Goat Bhuna Masala in particular is excellent

We have not dined at the Curry House in Thornleigh for many years but after our recent visit it will not be long before we return. The food was wonderful and the service very good. We had Salt & Pepper Cauliflower Bites and Tandoori Prawns for our entrees. Our mains were Madras Chicken(just the right amount of heat) and Lamb Saagwala. Both very good and very generous servings. In fact, we could not eat it all. The Garlic Naan was simply the best. It was light with just the right amount of char, garlic and coriander.

It was my first time here. I loved the food, atmosphere and service. There is usually a wait to be seated so be prepared to wait up to 15-30 minutes in peak times. Booze is available. Old Monk (Indian Rum) is a must-try. 👌 We celebrated a friend's birthday and we got a sparkle ✨️ on the cake 🎂. Chicken and Vegetarian dishes were amazing. Roti's and Naan breads were aptly prepared. This is slightly towards the expensive side. Ample parking. Overall, loved the hospitality.

It's more like 2.5 stars but I thought I would round up. Service fine. Food, mmmeh. I was recommended to come here by people from India and was disappointed. I love butter chicken but this was like chicken in tomato soup. Too sweet and watery. The tandoori lamb chops were average, I've had better. It's Indian food, it's just not great.

Curry dishes were generally very tasty. In fact all our dishes were excellent. The manager provided friendly service and changed a wrongly made curry dish (we ordered vindaloo but got a korma) without our asking. We'll definitely be back for more..

First time order was during a stormy night! EEK! The food came quicker than expected. Hot and delicious. Paid cash on delivery which scored us a discount (Thank you! That was unexpected!) Lots left over and the kids are now battling over who gets it today! I think I will win that battle! haha We will def be back for more yummy Indian Food! Thanks Curry House!

Excellent and prompt service by the lovely staff! Food was tasty and arrived so quickly. Butter chicken portions were a good size. Good value for money and very filling. Will return for more. You are looking at approx. $30/person including soft drinks and sides.

Loved it! Haven't had a decent Indian curry in quite a few years and had an opportunity to try a few during a long drive home. Freshly prepared naan [garlic & cheese], balti beef so good it fell apart, chicken tikka masala full of fresh capsicum and onion, and one of the best butter chicken curry to date complete with burnt ends. The strawberry lassi was also quite morish served along side tandoori prawns. Price was a bit steep but considering the brilliant service, prompt delivery of food, quality and freshness it was well worth it. Cosy restaurant, restrooms available, child friendly. Will have to make it a date night staple.

My first and last visit to this establishment. The food was delicious but it was drowned in bowls of sauce and one had to fish out the food to eat. Chefs plz provide substance to your meals, we like to eat not drink our dinner. The most disappointing aspect was that we were one of the first to arrive and the last to be served . If we were one of the first there then one would expect our food to arrive in the same order. However other patrons that arrived after us were treated to their dinner first. Our dinner arrived two hours late and we were preparing to leave the restaurant and go to the Asian restaurant next door for dinner when our dinner arrived after my husband advised them that they had 10 mins to redeem themselves. We had a table 12 for dinner. I asked for hot water 5 times before receiving it. The grand finale was at the checkout. And Yes we understand that it’s difficult to break up the receipts but we were 4 family groups and so it would’ve been fairly simple. We are from QLD and so we wanted to pay for our meals and leave, but thankfully the cashier relented and we were able to finally settle our bill . Definite no no to this restaurant . If you want to enjoy a great meal go someplace where you will get a decent meal and not heaps of gravy and be prepared to wait a long time to have food on your table.

Have been dining here regularly for nearly 30 years. It has been consistently good always. Good food, good serving size and good service. We keep going back!

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Delicious food. 3 of us had entrees, mains and drinks for $50 each. We couldn’t finish everything either (though we came close) Try the cauliflower bites with tamarind sauce. Amazeballs….

We ordered the banquet, the appetisers were pretty nice, and the main was two meat curries of your choice and one vegetarian curry of your choice; the curries are refillable so you won’t go home hungry. Would recommend.

We tried this place for the first time and weren’t disappointed. Customer service was amazing. They helped by suggesting what to order and when I mentioned on the phone that I’ll pick up, they even offered to arrange a delivery. The food itself was fresh and full of flavour.

After searching for a nice Indian restaurant over the last two years we finally found the hidden gem in Thornleigh. The food was absolutely delicious and so well presented. Chicken tikka was succulent and very tasty with a stunning dipping sauce. The mains with delicately spiced sauces, lamb korma and rogan josh. The papadams were just the best, lighly flavored and not oily. The restaurant has an excellent services, all staff are happy and smiling, such a great experience. We will definitively go back there again. Love the place, love the food!

We had a birthday party hosted and it was one of the best experience we encountered at Thornleigh curry house. The staff was very friendly and the food was amazing. So I would definitely recommend this place if you want best service along with delicious food. Thanks once again for making our party a memorable one

I can’t thank Anoop and his team for such a wonderful meal they catered for my daughter’s birthday party. The menu items we selected were samosas, chicken tikka, chana bhature, vegetarian biriyani, goat biryani, raita and salad. Every dish was delicious with everyone commenting and asking for the caterers’ details. Special mention must go to the samosa’s which were outstanding! Perfectly spiced fluffy potatoes with just the right amount of peas to balance them, in a crispy and flaky pastry, resulting in nobody being able to stop at 1…in fact 1 guest ate 7! The service was professional, friendly and efficient with everything being delivered hot and on time, with a smile. I would definitely use them again for any future functions and highly recommend them to anyone looking to cater their event.

Genuinely delicious (and I must add well presented) authentic Indian food. One of the better restaurants in northwest Sydney. And last but not least, ambiance of restaurant is good (lots of sunlight and smells clean). Must visit (choice for celiac as well).

Lots of good reviews for dine in. We had home delivery and were underwhelmed. Roti was like cardboard and $3.50 each. Overall most main dishes were flavoursome but the 2 starters and accompanying bread were very disappointing.

The best Indian meal in years. Lovely wait staff too. Great atmosphere. Now on our list of places to come back to next time we are in Sydney.

Pleasant and clean environment. Good and tasty food. Very friendly staff. Enjoyed each and every dish. Been there few times and tried out the different dishes each time. If you are not used to hot food, let the waiters know beforehand. if you are a Bariyani lover- try the chicken or mutton Bariyani. All in all its a place with amazing mouth watering food.

This is our go-to restaurant for Indian food and we're so glad we have such a great place so close to us. We get take-away or eat in once a week and the food is sensational. The service is great and the staff are really lovely too. We've eaten at many other Indian restaurants in Sydney and Melbourne but rarely do we find any food that comes close to being as good at we have at the Thornleigh Curry House.
