I inquired about having my dog come with me. It was originally included in the price then it wasn't so had to pay extra. I was told I'd be downstairs then when I arrived I realised I was upstairs in a very small room. It was totally not what I expected from the pictures and my dog was getting quite anxious so we left after 10 minutes. I rang the number and spoke to someone and told them exactly this. I then wrote two emails (2-3 weeks apart) and received no reply after asking multiple questions. I will not be returning. A very expensive 10 minutes

It would be really easy to post a whole lot of negative comments however if you find yourself homeless and you have pets then boronia lodge is one and only places where you can stay with your pets so I'm going to be real and say that I'm ok with the way I was treated rooms have free wifi foxtel fridge air-conditioning etc most of the people staying there are bludgeing of the government so they should not complain to much.

Rooms are dirty. Our bed had the last persons hair on the blanket and their dog hair all over it too. It was covered over with s white sheet to made to look clean. It is a nice place but definitely very slack with the cleaning.

Was very grateful to find a room at Boronia Lodge at short notice. Frank was very accommodating and pleasant coming to meet me at the front patio after the office had closed. The Lodge is very neat and clean. My room was the same. Comfy bed, bathroom free from grime and mold - very sanitary. Quiet location. Would be happy to recommend.

Absolutely horrible experience I had experienced at this accommodation! I left after one night at this accommodation as the residents residing were very unpleasant! I had gone there to seek refuge from a violent atmosphere and felt more safe from the accommodation I came from to what I had come into! This accommodation is more community based and are unwelcoming of incomers impeding upon their space! I refuse to go back no matter whether I remain homeless....

This is the most horrific place I have ever stayed in my life. I was booked in for 2 weeks - lasted one night. It is a boarding house, rooms are not only small, but unclean, mould all over curtains and blinds has never been cleaned. Opened up my bath towel to shower the first morning, black mould all over the bath towel. The owner of the property immediately threw away the bath towel and said "what do you expect for a 100+ year old building" My response "what I expect the property to be clean, fresh linen, no mould or health risks" With the Covid society we live in, shared kitchen facilities and cooking facilities should simply be a no go zone. The shared kitchen microwave has never been cleaned and the rotting corpse of food waste living in the shared fridge - the odour made me instantly sick. The room had coffee satches and sugar satches, no complimentary milk provided. Definitely no complimentary breakfast which they rave about on the website. The room had an outdoor sitting area directly outside my window, junkies smoking and talking outside my bedroom window all night. I told my employer who had paid in advance for this property, that I woudl prefer to sleep in my work ute as at least I know that my work ute is clean. Be warned before you even consider staying here, this would have to be the worst property I have ever stayed in my entire life. Photos on website definitely appear to have been photo shopped, as on arrival to this property you will immediately see this is a poorly managed, poorly maintained, old dump. I would not recommend this property to my worst enemy.

I have stayed here several times now, value for money is great, always clean, lots of hot water, crisp linen, always been very quiet and peaceful. Rooms are small but have microwave, sink, jug , fridge etc, all you need to heat up a meal. Air con has always been very efficient in the hottest summer night. Helpful staff. Would not bother to look elsewhere. Definitely five star for this type of accommodation.

This place is wonderful, it's cheap and has comfortable rooms for you and your pets. It also has common rooms and a common fridge/freezer.. out the back through the beautiful gate has a bbq and entertainment area with tables and chairs. There is also a smoking area out the back. Its all wonderful and Frank the Owner/host is amazing and very helpful. I would definitely come back again.

We had a nice clean room, with adequate space and all the essentials. There was easy access to the local Westfield shopping centre and the train station. The staff were also polite and helpful. The only issue was the tap water was a bit dirty in the kitchen sink, but otherwise everything else was quite good.

Clean room with the noisiest sheets I have ever had. Paid AU120 for room shown in ad BUT received a pub room. Breakfast is a bag of cereal n milk in fridge. Had to look for someone to help with checkin. Shown tiny room with double bed n sink, nothing like the photos on site. Had to find toilets n shower room ourselves . People upstairs seamed to stay up all night with creaky floorboards. Exterior doors open all night. Checked out at 8.30 n couldn't find anyone to hand key to so left it in the room. NOT WHAT ADVERTISED. Great location.
