This was an interesting experience. As a kid I grew up on Old El Paso Mexican. This was all I knew until about age 21 when I was introduced to real Mexican food. After living in California on the boarder of Mexico for a year, I have quite a good taste for Mexican. This restaurant was not proper Mexican by an means. This brought me back to being a kid and eating Old El Paso Mexican. The food was by no means bad. But it was definitely not good Mexican. The tacos (pictured) were all made with hard corn tacos (I’ve never seen this in any restaurant). The queso dip (pictured) which is normally a creamy cheese dip was simply melted cheese on salsa. Not bad tasting, but definitely not what I was expecting. The service was friendly and portion sizes were good. The food even tasted fine. However I wouldn’t return here because nothing about the food seemed authentically Mexican.

Had an absolutely fantastic meal. Great staff, reasonable prices and cold drinks. Honestly you couldn’t ask for more. And if you want a tip, the Eye Fillet was absolutely sensational!

The staff were lovely but unfortunately the food was just okay, not really authentic and very small portions! Was only given 1 potato and just like 4 beans with salty mustard chicken not sure if they were having a bad night or what the fuss was about with it being rated so high in riverwood , we also ordered the corn with the mayo and chilli flakes that was really lazy nothing to do with what an elote is supposed to be if that's what the chef was going for, our food was pretty salty. I honestly expected better i have been thinking about coming here for the longest time but I don't think ill come back here for mexican food.

A very lovely family-run restaurant. Every item we've tried was top-notch! The nachos tasted very 'fresh' - maybe because of the cheese they used, which was stretchy (& I'm not a fan of cheese) as well as the quality of all the other ingredients. I think because they make their own tortillas. Their tacos were great as well. My friend can't compliment enough on their rib eye steak with its gravy-like sauce. And even though we were full from the entrees and mains, we decided to share the leche quamada & strawberry crepe. It speaks to the level of tastiness that we still found the dessert to-die-for despite our full stomach. And the staff were very warm and friendly. And downright hospitable, as you'd expect from a cosy family-run restaurant. Oh! And extra 100 points for their hot sauce! I love it! Though it burns just about every orifice in my body - but that's my own fault for being a glutton for (chilli) punishment!

Very small servings. Garlic prawns was 4 prawns in oil - not even any bread to soak up the garlicky oil. Chilli con queso was okay but I’ve had lots better / more cheesy. Not sure if I’d go back - maybe - to try something else but I’ll make sure I eat before I go!

Was taken back by the brilliant customer service. Staff were highly hospitable and served our meals at the same time. I recommend the combination options as they definitely offer good value. Most importantly the food was excellent. This restaurant serves as a shining example to other restaurants the true definition of a unique guest experience.

Came here twice and both occasions did not disappoint. I had the beef taco combination $26 and it was delicious. Cocktails and desserts were good too. Awesome vibes and service was friendly but a bit slow at times. Would recommend.

We went with another family to Pancho's. Thankfully we made booking because the place was booked out on a weekend night. Because one of their wait staff was off that night, the overall service was very slow. It took time to get our orders and even longer for the drinks to arrive. We even had to remind them about the drinks a couple of times. Hope that this was a one off. The food was really good and tasty. But it could be because we were so hungry by the time the food arrived. But none of the kids complained so I'm happy!

Staff were so polite and helpful with recommending food, food tasted amazing I could tell by the look of the chef the food was gonna be amazing. The boss or manager was very polite to me and my friend. We had a great time here would recommend 100%

Usually a big fan of this place - the food is sensational. But, two weeks ago, we booked on-line via Quandoo for nine people for my wife's birthday, only to find we all turned up yesterday to find the place is shut. Granted, in hindsight, their hours do say closed on Mondays, but it would have been nice if they had called to advise, and not leave us to all turn up and be left stranded. Would have happily taken my concerns up with them directly, but doesn't help that the email address on their website just bounces back too.

The food is fresh and the service is amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful. LOVE this restaurant.

Brilliant the Mariachi Band was awesome. Thanks for a wonderful night of great food, drink and entertainment. We had a ball. Especially the Mariachi Band doing a wiggles song for our daughter.

An extremely enjoyable modern mexican restaurant in the heart of Riverwood. Food is absolutely delicious and the ambience spot on. Service is impeccable and a good selection of drinks is on offer. The meals are generous and as long as you are a Mexican food lover you will thoroughly enjoy it.

A work function done right... Staff and food were amazing!!! I'm pretty sure we overstayed out welcome well past closing time, but the staff made us feel most welcome. The chilli sauce 10/10 👌

Pancho's is a tex-mex style, family-run and owned restaurant. The owner is lovely and makes you feel welcome and like part of the family. Our favourite entrees are the bean dip extra spicy and small chicken nachos. Hervey makes an extra spicy sauce that is an amazing accompaniment to all of the food but especially goes well with the jumbo chicken burritos and chicken tacos. Love the food here and love the house-made Sangria too! Highly recommend ❤️

Being to this amazing restaurant to celebrate local Physiotherapist’s party. This is one of the best Mexican restaurant in Sydney. The food was delicious, the hospitality was warm, the ambience was lovely and the people are just fantastic. They go above and beyond to serve the customer in a safe and efficient manner. Their COVID plan is excellent and the way they clean table, chairs and surroundings is top class. Definitely recommended.

Great service, tasty food. Sampled all the soft tacos and eye filet, found them to be cooked well and food came out quickly! Positive experience, would come back.

Cozy little restaurant. Food was nice but nothing out of the ordinary.

Garlic prawns were $17.50 and only came with 5 small prawns. Although, Taco combination was really nice and well prepared with a decent serving size but Quesadilla was average taste.

Three of us enjoyed a very relaxing dinner last night. The food was absolutely delicious and good value and the staff were fantastic -- great customer service. Thank you Pancho for our family celebration 🍾
