😠 I always ensure I get to my appointments on time however Dr Ahmed is consistently late. I made an appointment for 9am and I saw her walk into to the practice with all her stuff at 9.25. I have to book time off work for appointments and when I’ve had to wait over an hour, it’s not great. I can’t thin... People often mention results, time, practice, clinic, late, appointment, care,

I always ensure I get to my appointments on time however Dr Ahmed is consistently late. I made an appointment for 9am and I saw her walk into to the practice with all her stuff at 9.25. I have to book time off work for appointments and when I’ve had to wait over an hour, it’s not great. I can’t think of one time when she’s been less than 45 mins late. In addition to poor time management, the care just isn’t there. It’s like they just want to get people in and out, and they don’t care if the problems are properly addressed. I’ll be switching doctors.

The only saving grace are the brilliant receptionists who are extremely courteous, polite and helpful. The doctors are always late, even when you have an appointment, minimum wait time (every single time) is 1-1.5 hours. I wonder how can every doctor be so late every time. It happened with every member of the family with different practitioners at this place so can’t even give benefit of doubt. Someone definitely needs to look into this, this practice requires discipline from the practitioners. I have seen so many people walk out due to long wait times

My son had an accident nearby Westfield, at the playground and had a bad cut on his forehead. Blood was running every where, he didn't vomited or lost his consciousness so I decided to took him to see a GP. We went straight from the playground to the Centre and although they were closing, they provided caring assistance and took good care of my son. We were new patients at that point. I would love to thank beautiful receptionist, nurse and doctor who gave us much appreciated support on 30/10/2023, closing hours and they stayed after-hours to make sure everything is OK with my 4 year old. ❤️

I have been a patient of Hornsby Medical Centre for many years. I am very happy with them. Twice I have needed emergency care, and both times they have been exemplary. For the rest of the timer, it has been routine, and I cannot say anything bad about any of the staff that I have dealt with - including at least six different doctors, two nurses and many receptionists.

Completely unethical practice - abusing bulk billing / funding. I should have read the reviews here before attending this practice for a medical screening test. The doctor explicitly told me I would ONLY be called back if results were abnormal. If my results were normal, I would be told as much, & that I didn't need to come back. In retrospect, I realise she also "warned" me multiple times not to freak out if I WAS called back in, as not all abnormal results are anything to worry about. (Incidentally - this particular test only has two possible results - normal or abnormal. There is no grey in between area.) Sure enough - a week or so after the screening test, the practice advised me that I needed to come in for the doctor to discuss results with me. Of course this created a bit of worry & stress for me, as I was expecting results to be "normal, no follow up required". By this stage I was already not trusting the clinic (& had also just read the google reviews!), so had my results sent to my regular doctor instead, who confirmed with me that my results were completely NORMAL, & that no follow up consult / appointment was necessary! I can only assume this practice is abusing bulk billing / funding by FORCING patients to book completely unnecessary follow up appointments, to only be told (within a 30 second appointment I assume) that their results are NORMAL, & that no action is required! As an aside - this clinic claims that it's "mandatory" to wear a mask in a healthcare setting which is completely untrue in late 2023. It may be the clinic's policy for patients to wear one (which I am fine with), but please don't lie & tell us that it's a mandatory requirement in a healthcare setting. Strangely enough, none of the reception staff wear one! They just tell everyone else to. The clinic was also dirty & cramped. I advise finding ANY other practice to attend instead of this one. As a friend said to me - you could make a sitcom about this place if it wasn't so infuriating.

Sofia Khan is not a professional practitioner. She cannot listen, comprehend and try to understand a patient. It was such a waste of time. I understand what happened today had nothing to do with me. If you read the news alot of things are happening in the world and what someone goes through necessarily may not just be about a single event. Thank you for seeing me Dr Husne Ahmed in replacement of Sofia Khan. I'm very glad to get professional and unbiased opinions in relating to women's health. Thank you for the nurse I saw today, she was very kind trying to make me comfortable. I will contitnue to go to this practice for the convenience such as telepath consult (really helpful) and for the odd times when I meet a really good practitioner, such as Dr Asela Catalla.

I visited the clinic with my father today. While I am helping my father with his consultation payment at reception desk, he was coughing and using tissues to manage it. My father, at a distance of at least four to five meters from the reception desk, was coughing while walking out of the clinic and disposing of his phlegm into a tissue he had with him, he then placed in trash bin outside of the clinic. Unfortunately, the front desk staff witnessed this and reacted unprofessionally, describing the situation as "disgusting." I believe it's important for clinic staff to maintain professionalism, especially in a healthcare setting where patients come for support and care. No one should be made to feel uncomfortable or judged based on their health condition.
