I live a block from this cafe and have already been here on a couple of occasions. Its always been a highly rated cafe, mine and other's eyes so I decided to do a proper write up. The cafe has a nice modern feel to it, using plenty of wood and tiles used in all the right spots. They've got one table outside which is a bit odd and I would suggest putting more out there unless there is any legal restrictions. This put less burden on the tables inside which is always packed during the morning peak hour whenever I'm there. The coffee is always on point. As per my picture you can see the coffee art is nice and it stay distinct past the midway line as you'll expect for a latte. The real test is whether they can do the same with a flat white like my top five cafes, which has less foam. The large may seem expensive at $4.50 compared to the other cafe in the here, but the large is actually large and feels like it's more than the standard mug although this could be an optical illusion. The cafe doesn't do surcharges for paying with card and they have toilets available onsite. I recommend coming here for coffee, you'll get something that is well made, smooth and tasty.

The staff are always friendly and accommodating, even with my many last minute bookings during their busiest times. Food is consistently delicious and caters to different dietary requirements. We come here regularly and absolutely love it.

Really disappointed with what has happened to this place. I have worked in north Sydney for 10 + years and really enjoyed this place. Went back and got the crab omelette that was just disappointing. Ingredients missing and just no flavour at all. Worst of all, went to pay the bill and the barista charged the wrong table and i over paid. Upon notifying her, she then decided to berate me whilst sighing and glaring at me even though I told her what the table had ordered. Even whilst talking to the manager that was apologetic, she continued to stand and give a disgusting glare. Safe to say I will never return here with clients or even myself. Disgusting behaviour by staff.

I’m only in the area 1-2 days a week but within 1 visit your amazing barista knew my name and order and greets me each morning when I arrive. The coffee is fantastic and the service unmatched.

Amazing staff (Maria you’re incredible), stunning coffee and a really creative dish in the mushroom polenta (vegan version). Highly highly recommend

What a nice modern style cafe! The menu was so diverse and there is something for everyone on it. I had the steak sandwich and the choc peanut butter shake and they were both delicious 😊 Staff were super friendly and welcoming and service was prompt and lovely.

My friend (who is a nutritionist) and I visited this Cafe today for lunch. It was our first time visiting and it definitely exceeded our expectations. We were greeted by a friendly waitress (Mimi) in less than a minute and was quickly offered a choice of couch or chair seating, indoors or outdoors. We were quickly and comfortably seated with the menus pre prepared. She asked if we needed anything before leaving us alone for privacy and time to select. It was so nice to see an extensive menu of choices and amazing variety of all sorts of proteins, veges, sauces etc - you name it, they have it. They also had a wide range of drinks from kid/family friendly cold and hot, coffees and if you were feeling a bit fancy with friends, they had some alcoholic drinks too. We loved the interior decor, high ceilings, shelves of goods, billboard offering all sorts of milks under the sun, grab to go sweets and savouries as well as a board detailing where their fresh produce and coffee beans are from. We also loved the atmosphere of the place as many come for a work meeting. They provide a QR code to your table number or if you're not the social type, you can definitely QR your order, pay as you go and be left undisturbed. I had the mushroom toastie that was such a delicious combo with the sea salt flakes, crunchy but soft bread that had been perfectly toasted with the gooey soft cheese. Definitely my go to! My friend had their Broccoli cutlet (?) which she absolutely loved especially the sauce. It was fresh, home cooked, well portioned and nutritious and she even commented on wanting to research and replicate it for home and clients. We also got their skin on fries. To be honest, when we heard chipotle mayo and black garlic ketchup, we were a bit sceptical as it's not the norm but after a couple dips, we wanted to take the sauces home with us. Staff were super friendly with no dedicated waitress but everyone regularly came around and checked on us without being pushy and upselling more as some cafes do. Our food also arrived in less than 5 mins despite their busy tables. In the 50 mins we spent there, they had waves of customers but they never stopped checking on their dine in customers and continued to do so always smiling despite the stress they may have felt. There was no push either to eat, pay and leave. I am not local to the area but will definitely travel again with more friends. 11/10 - keep the great work team!

This place needs serious improvement. I’m not a harsh critic or reviewer but the cafe was extremely disappointing. Staff were unattentive nor welcoming. Just wants you to pay up and leave. They’re too busy with their own things to even care about the customers. I couldn’t even get service to ask for cutlery? Menu items were overpriced for simple breakfast meals. $25 for a Salad bowl? I can dine at far better places for $25. I can’t recommend this place at all.

Been coming here for coffee and occasional bit of brunch for a few years now. Never had a better iced long black anywhere else in the city! They really pay attention to the coffee and deliver a great shot. I've moved over the Bridge now but I still keep coming back every time I'm this side of the harbour.

Fantastic place - I went after parkrun this morning. Very quick and friendly service - I had an organic matcha coconut milk with honey. Totally recommend!

The Cafe is good but the only problem is almost all the tables are reserved after 9 am. It's not based on first come first served instead it's all based on reservations. Vegan options are very limited.

I took a group of 20 colleagues to this cafe for breakfast, and couldn't be happier with our experience. The staff were attentive and friendly. Orders were taken in turn, and food and beverages delivered quickly. Everything was presented beautifully, and tasted brilliant! Well done on catering to a large group in conjunction with the regular breakfast traffic, so efficiently.

The Acai here isn't very good. I have ordered both an acai bowl and an acai smoothie. They are super small for the price and taste really watered down :( I would skip it from here - The rest of the stuff is super good!

I visit the shop irregularly, but the young girl on the coffee machine this morning at 6am is an asset to your business. The times she(sorry don’t know her name) has served me it’s with a smile and always warm and friendly even when busy. 😊😊

Enjoyed breakfast here two days in a row. Both meals I had were delicious. Coffee is great too. This place gets ridiculously busy in the mornings, so be prepared to wait for a table.

We are from Melbourne , we came in Friday morning and ordered from a lovely Barista lady with a huge smile . Coffee was as good as it was in Melbourne and we are the apparent Cafe kings of Australia . Great service and great coffee.

I ordered a platter of sandwiches one day in advance and my order was accepted and then cancelled at the last minute (at the time it was due to arrive). When I called to ask if this was fixed, the lady said no because they were too busy and then hung up the phone on me, leaving me with no catering for an important meeting. Incredibly unprofessional and unreliable.

Staff are super nice, Cafe is well setup, tried to order their signboard special $15 smashed avo and have been informed it was takeaway only and $20 to sit it. So I ordered a green bowl which was $16, which was brocolli, avocado, peas and some leaves. No seasoning of any sort. Extra $10 for protein. For $16 for a plate of vegetables, one would expect seasoning, some dressing not a straight up side of vegetables. Highly suggest to make a staple including a more interesting combination with sauce or protein, or just take off from the menu. Also please don't suggest specials you can't eat inside to draw clients that can't get said special once they sit down.

Regular customer here....I wanted the smaller kids sized smoothie because I didn't want a large one. Staff insisted I order a larger one. Fine. Smoothie came out warm almost hot. If I wanted warm milk with barely any banana flavour I would have ordered that. Waste of $9.

I booked a group of 15 people for lunch. Great menu selection. We pre-ordered our meals which all came out efficiently. Everyone enjoyed the atmosphere, friendly service and great good.

Caught up with 3 work colleagues for lunch here, everyone managed to find something they liked and service was good and prompt. Good coffees to finish off and best of all, they were happy to accommodate our split bills with no reluctance.

We ordered morning tea individual boxes for our catering event at work. Shredded chicken bagels were very tasty. But It'd be good if size of the bagels were a bit bigger.

Ordered catering from Charlie & Franks for an event, I must say the whole process was amazing and simple. Natalie from catering and event co-ordination was very efficient and friendly. The food was delivered on time and looks absolutely mouth watering. The presentation is top notch! Thank you so much team! Will definitely be ordering again in the future! :)

This place is amazing! They are really generous with their fries (which are much better than Maccas' fries) and the grean pea (vego) burger is great (I have had it twice). The chicken protein bowl is really good - we took away due to the lockdown in Sydney and pan-fried the chicken - also the potato croquettes they make are better than the vast majority in Japan.

If you want a place that serves your coffee with a smile and amazing latte art, remembers your name and order, then this is the place to go. Oh and the coffee is top-notch! The food is also pretty damn good but I’m most certainly a coffee regular here.

Wow, Vegan Bowl is awesome! Perfect balance of ingredients, textures and cooking, I love it.
