    They said they open at 9. My blood test needs fasting , so I am super hungry haven't eaten anything for breakfast. And I have gastro problems I have to eat. Waiting for the worker to come. She's very late. Waited for more than an hour. Not everyone does not need fasting you know. Please come on time. A lot of people are waiting for you

    Pathology staff was rude , I suggest to skip this collection centre as the Laverty pathology staff looks to take at-least 20-25 mins per blood collection . When i went to the centre i took a number card for the queue and waited for my turn. After waiting for approx 25 min the Laverty pathologist staff came and asked for the pathology request form. When i showed the digital form to her she snatched the queue card number from me and told me to take a new number card and get to the back of the queue because i need to now take a printout of the form. Getting a new queue number would mean to wait possible 1-1.5 hrs as my spot in the queue was cancelled andand i get pushed back to queue and I wasn’t told in the beginning to get a printout. The worst part was the rude pathology staff who wouldn’t listen or understand.

    Unfortunately waited a truly unreal amount of time. I’ve gotten blood tests a dozen times, waited in some hefty lines before, but never had a wait like this. The one person working took around 20 minutes per person, and without comfortable places to sit I honestly wound up with so much fatigue from waiting that it was starting to make me feel sick. Hours, literally, for hardly half a dozen people. I would do anything to never do a test here again, and I would earnestly urge any MyHealth or Laverty staff seeing this to seriously consider how this collection site is operated. Every other service that I’ve accessed in this health centre so far hasn’t let me down, but this experience was exceptionally bad.

    It was a really bad service from one of the pathology specialists, she was so rude from the beginning. That was my first time at this Laverty Centre because every year I go to Laverty at Waterloo Rd. Unfortunately, I have a terrible phobia of needles. I have had panic attacks with low pressure, and I have fainted many times before, having to call ambulances, so this is really traumatic for me! Every year I pass for the same situation, but all the specialists have been very patient with me. I went with my friend because I cannot basically do it alone, it gives me a lot of anxiety. I explained this situation to her, but she refused to let my friend get in with me, and she was so rude. she did not have any empathy, told me that I was not a child and just pretending that I was just overreacting. Obviously, I could not take my blood test there, and I ended up going to Laverty at Waterloo Rd, making my condition more traumatic. I just hope that no one has to go through a similar situation and receive such bad treatment from this staff because I am sure I am not the only one who has a phobia of needles, and the staff should be more empathetic and understand this condition.

    After terrible treatment at Douglas Pathology in the same shopping centre we went to Laverty on level 4 in the My Health Centre. On arrival a young lady by the name of Sophia asked us to take a number. Ten minutes later we entered the collection room. Sophia was so professional and her bedside manner was fantastic. My wife required a glucoses test and but unlike the other place Sophie explained that for best results the patient should go on a certain diet for three days prior to the test. She rebooked is for another test in three day time. Wow, what a difference a great staff member makes. All I can say is that Laverty have an asset in Sophia. Thank you Sophia.

    Still I have pain on my hand, where the staff put the tourniquet. Very bad experience. 👎 very rude behaviour by the lady who collects blood... 😒

    It’s a slowest pathology with average time per person is 20min. The pathologist works at a snail pace and patients will get exhausted while waiting. Also it’s worse if you are fasting for any test. They need to improve or make the system that people with fasting can do the test between 9-10 am . All other tests post that.

    Female Pathology staff working 4th of June 2022 making excuses like 'no can't do test because takes times to process tests... no you have to book', if your on shift and there are patients, you have a duty of care, you shouldn't take advantage of your patients' lack of knowledge of healthcare and just try and make money with the least amount of effort, if you're not qualified then why is Laverty enployeeing you? Not the first time this lady has refused service under the guise that 'it's not her job', how do ppl like this keep their jobs?

    Terrible Terrible Terrible Terrible service!!! It is my first time writing a google review. Because I have to report this!! I swear i' ve never received a worse service than this rude Laverty pathology staff her name starts with J. And i have suggested all my friends and families stay away from this place. I can't believe a center has a staff with so many negative feedbacks can still work here in such a long time. Because of this rude lady, I wasted the whole Saturday morning. Nevertheless, I failed to get the breath test eventually, and I was back home with a fasting stomach around mid of the day.

    VERY VERY happy and impressed with the Services provided by J.P. the Collector - He is efficient, curteous, perhaps most of all, very very skillful to locate my vien to collect my blood. Reason: very am a long term, over 35 years patient of Laverty, because of the chronic health issues, my veins are very scarred. When the main lab at Waterloo Road close for blood collection, he Area Supervisor of Laverty: A.C. recommended me to go to J.P. Well, she is not wrong and knows her staff's skill well. Thank You.

    came in by 9am, it's 10.13 now,laverty staff is still on train,waiting for more than an hour now,so ridiculous
