Popped into Meaden master jewellers to get one of the spokes fixed on my ring. They were so welcoming and lovely and they did it right on the spot for me!! It took the lovely man about 2 minutes to fix and much to my shock and appreciation there was no charge. I am over the moon to be able to wear my ring again and I cannot thank the team enough. I took my engagement ring to Gary Meaden for resizing - very happy with the results! Reasonable price and quick turnaround. They also cleaned the diamond so well it looks very sparkly and like brand new. The friendly frenchie at their office is definitely a bonus and gives you more reasons to visit!

I came in to get a custom bracelet made for my sister’s 18th birthday- was lucky enough to have Gary help me. He even managed to find me the most stunning ruby gem and ended up crafting one of the most beautiful pieces of jewellery so could have imagined for such an amazing price. He patiently advised and refined the rings until the final touches, showed us the 3D model and made a 3D resin model to try on. Gary offers top notch service!! I bought back an engagement ring from overseas which required resizing twice a few years apart. Gary took it on without hesitation on both occasions and did more than just resizing it. He also improved it's aesthetics by flattening some of the faces giving it a more pleasing finish. The additional gold was seamless, you wouldn't even tell it was there. Funnily enough, he could tell the ring was foreign just by looking at it as well. Highly recommended, he knows what he's doing, and he does it extremely well.

Today (31 Jan 2024) is my first time meeting Gary. But he is the first Master Jeweller who bothered to answer my email & communicating with me on the public holiday on Monday (Auckland Anniversary Day) ! Not only he surprisingly doing some work for his clients on a public holiday (showing his dedications to his clients) and also to me as a new customer, but he was willing to have my ring done urgently upon my request ! I had enquired with quite a few big and other smaller jewellery stores in Auckland about an urgent ring job , but they ALL told me I had to wait between 1-2 weeks ! Gary was the only one telling me to bring the ring over and that he would get it done on the same day. Lo and behold, it didn't even take the whole day. In less than 2 hours my ring was done and the workmanship was superb! I couldn't see any joining mark whatsoever on the ring band after it's being enlarged by 4 sizes ! So I am impressed by the workmanship and by Gary's work commitment to his new and old clients ! I told Amy, the lady who was serving me (who was also friendly ) when I was collecting my ring, that I would definitely be back again to upsize my other rings. So yes, I highly recommend Gary to anyone , as his integrity and work commitments are rarely found nowadays.

I bought a beautiful bracelet in Malaysia many years ago. The wires holding the delicate gold beads together stretched. I tried for years to get it fixed at various places in the UK, Holland and even at Jens Hansen, ‘The Ringmaker’ from Lord of the Rings in Nelson. None of them had the materials and/or skills to fix it. Then I contacted Gary. He, too, was uncertain that he could fix it - but fix it he did, and I am so, so happy. It looks like new and gives me a thrill every time I look at it. Gary has such expertise and, it seems, loves a challenge. He really is a magician! Lyn
