Had wonderful tours with this awesome company. Our day on our Waiheke Island wine tour with Bil was a great day - he's got us convinced to move to NZ when we win our millions! Alex was so friendly and accommodating for our full day Coromandel trip and our half day to Hobbiton. Was only us and one other young lady in our group which made for a lot of great chatter on the hilly drives! Thanks again for the great restaurant recommendation!! He's a great guy who loves his job! I can’t recommend this group enough. I did the Hobbiton and Waitomo Caves Tour from Auckland and it has been my absolute favorite part of my trip. Not only were the attractions incredible (and they really were both absolute show stoppers in their own right), but the our guide Damian was really what made the experience what it was. He was entertaining, informative, kind and just made the entire drive itself a fun experience. It’s very clear that he loves showing people new to NZ around and sharing the history and cool trivia about his home. A wonderful experience from start to finish, and it wouldn’t have been nearly as amazing without his energy!

My wife used this tour service to book a few tours and mainly for the tour to Hobbiton and the glow worm caves. Pickup was very easy as they came right to our hotel at the four points Sheraton and when it went to pick up other people the driver would even walk around to look for people and I mention this because my wife mentioned how people complained that the bus didn't wait for them.. however I noticed the exact opposite. The drivers for both days had a lot of tidbits of information making the drives interesting. The first day we had to change a bus early on because the bus picking everyone up was not the one for the tour, but the second day where the drive was long they had a bidet bus picking everyone up for long drives so they didn't have us change. I really enjoyed our tours and I do believe it's worth booking with them. I couldn't get any pictures inside the glowworm caves because they weren't allowed, but I got several from Hobbiton and from the Waitakere ranges. I would say it's an easy way to see some things around New Zealand and learn some interesting info from the tour guides. Will tell friends to use them when they go.

Bush and Beach service is 100/10! ⭐️ First tour-Alan, Erin and Phillip on the Best of Both Worlds tour were simply the best guides we could have asked for. Erin and Phillip were both so knowledgeable on everything you need to know about Auckland- from the wildlife, to the people, and the land. Truly an amazing day along every stop from the city center to the rainforest. Second tour- The Hobbiton to Rotorua tour is the best way to get from Auckland to our next stop Rotorua. Our guide, Wayne was incredible. He was kind, knowledgeable and all around a complete pleasure to hang out with for the day. Overall, Bush and Beach was incredible and we would recommend them to anyone traveling here. Also shoutout to Crystal in the office for making sure every detail of running these operations is smooth sailing. We are so thankful for this team.

I would highly recommend Bush and Beach. We ended up doing the “Best of Both Worlds” tour after our original booking was unavailable due to the recent cyclone. Customer service and communication was excellent, and everyone went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Our tour guides, Allen and Milton, were friendly and well informed. We had a great time, and the scenery was beautiful.

We did a tour to Hobbiton, with pickup / drop off from our hotel in the CBD. Our guide Damien was wonderful. He shared useful tips and information about Hobbiton and NZ in general. Provided very clear instructions for where to meet before and after the walk through Hobbiton. Bush and Beach was also very accommodating of my young child, providing a car seat for our infant. Would highly recommend this company for any of your NZ adventures!

My spouse and I were looking for a tour to Hobbiton out of Auckland for July and found the highly recommended Bush and Beach tours. We are very pleased with our choice which included a tour to Waitomo glow worm caves. We had the best day, with a wonderful tour guide who was knowledgable and added so much information during our drive. It was a long day, but fast-paced. I recommend bringing some snacks for the in between times. We highly recommend this company!

We had the pleasure of having Damien as our tour guide. He was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Damien made the journey to Hobbiton and the Waitamo caves a comfortable experience. We had a wonderful day exploring the film set of The Hobbit. What a magical place! The buffet lunch was beautifully presented and delicious. Our trip to the Waitamo caves was a fantastic cultural experience and wonder to explore. I would highly recommend this tour!

We did a tour to Hobbiton with Bush and Beach and honestly, they deserve the 4,9/5 rating! Very friendly and helpful tour guide (Thank you, Max!). Would have loved to do another tour of Auckland city with Bush and Beach, but we were pressed on time and the tour on the only other doable date was fully booked. Maybe next time!

On our Waitakere Regional Park/Piha Beach tour we had Tony and Murray as our tour guides. For the Hobbiton tour we had Tony and Michelle. We had a very pleasant experience and found the guides very knowledgeable about New Zealand’s natural surrounds and history, we learnt a lot from both tours. The guides were helpful, friendly and fun. We highly recommend Bush and Beach Auckland if you’re a tourist!

What a great way to see Auckland. We booked a half day, Wayne was our man at the wheel, he was knowledgeable and entertaining. The whole thing ran like clockwork a great introduction for us to Auckland.

We had the best day with Tony going from Auckland to Rotorua via Waitomo Caves and Hobbiton. Our guide was friendly, easy-going, organised and thoughtful. He ensured we got the most out of every moment. It was also wonderful to hear about the good the company does to give back to the local environment. Couldn't have asked for a better guide!

We had the great pleasure of having Mr Wayne as our guide for the 2 tours we took for Auckland, Waitomo and Hobitton. You cannot go wrong with Bush and Beach being such a reputed agency and you definitely want Wayne as your guide. The whole tour felt more like a family get together, from the chats to the laughs we had. Oh yes.. the laughs, Wayne is really witty and with so many humorous stories and jokes. He is full of energy and very passionate about his work! We never once felt bored during the drives to get from one location to another since we had so much to chat about. When we finally left in Rotorua, we all felt sad saying goodbye to Wayne and felt we made a new family friend! Thank you Wayne and Bush and Beach.

Smoothly managed guided tour of natural highlights around Auckland. One-mile forest walk was instructive about native flora, especially the kauri tree and the kawakawa bush, and the history of logging the area. Beach stops showed off black sand and tidal changes.

I had an amazing experience visiting Hobbiton and the glow worm caves with Bush and Beach! Booked because of all the rave reviews, and they were right. Our tour guide Damien was awesome! The whole tour was super smooth, fun and informative. I would definitely book with them again and suggest you do as well.

We had a private tour from Auckland to Hobbiton and Rotorua. Alex from Bush and Beach looked after us at every step. He is super-knowledgeable and kept us thoroughly entertained for the 12 hour tour. I highly recommend Bush and Beach.

Very kind to both me and others he was looking after all while being professional. Jason was not the only one as the employees are reliable and eased my fears more than once.
