Sunday Markets are the best. If you're living in Central you have to go! Amazing flowers, candles and fresh veggies with live music 🎶

Freyberg square is kind of cute with a quirky buildings that surround it. It has markets on Saturday mornings and one day I saw a group doing modern dance to techno music. The day I went was winter, I saw a few people there that looked a bit out of it, maybe high on drugs!? And a few families enjoying their day out.

I love this new place. Nicely renovated and a great place to sit down, relax and enjoy Auckland city life.

Relaxing spot for a chat and coffee. New colour scheme has brightened up area, instead of the same other boring color combos around the city!!!

Take a trip there on a Saturday morning, try a variety of Danish delights, sip on a coffee and listen to some home grown music. When the Sun is out enjoy the concrete steps and watch the world walk buy. It's certainly worth a visit even if you don't stay.

Freyburg Square is the home of the cbd community centre, Ellen Mellville. It is in High St (other side is Chancery Lane), and has 2 accessible carparks. This photo is of a non-disabled driver parked in one of them, driving away when he realised I was going to take a photo of his car and registration. Ellen Melville is a great community resource. Please do not use accessible parking... "just for a minute" ...and forcing us to drive by and go home unable to join family and friends at events or nearby restaurants because you are using our parking for convenience and not because you need it 🙏🦼

Freyburg Square is now the home of the City Centre Farmers Market, Saturday mornings, 8.30 till 12.30. It's a gorgeous addition to the city centre neighbourhood and well worth a visit. Really good selection of very fresh fruit and veggies, great choice of breads, Scarecrow have a flower and grocery stall, honey.... In January there will also be a cheese place, a butcher and coffee onsite. The wonderful Mark Laurent is playing guitar and singing... so come and share the fantastic community atmosphere
