Should be able rate Ash a solid ten out of 5. I hunted for an artist for a couple of years, saved up my pennies and knew exactly what I wanted. I was extremely fussy but also concerned because being a big girl, was scared I won't find anyone willing to work with me to get what I wanted. All those fears was unnecessary - Ash contacted me straight away, I sent her as much info as I wanted, she never made me feel like a pain (or an annoying Karen). I had a really big session yesterday and being a back piece it was very painful. Ash was so professional, so encouraging and incredibly patient. She completely understood what I wanted, made me my custom piece and I am absolutely STOKED with the end result. It is a very personal piece, for my own reasons and this means so much to me, that on top of the wonderful service I received from my beautiful amazingly talented artist has made this one of my favourite experiences! The rest of the team was also incredibly friendly, professional and accommodating, I will definitely be back again! My husband and I recently had memorial pieces done in honour of our son who we tragically lost in a vehicle accident a year ago. (Junior for my hubby & Ash for mine) they both captured our visions perfectly. Everyone at Tattoo Gold made us feel welcome and were compassionate and professional. Coen, my tattooist is a true professional. This was my first tattoo experience so was very scary for me regarding the pain etc. My fears soon vanished as every step was explained to me & it was important to Coen that I was comfortable & happy with the final result. This place is absolutely amazing!! When I first got there and walked inside I noticed right away the beautifully presented and so so clean. The artist who did my tattoo was Jarad, he was polite and friendly and super bubbly, as I’m an anxious person it was nice to be in the presence of someone who isn’t intimidating and carried on a conversation. As for the tattoo itself, he was gentle and precise and very professional. I’m obsessed with my new piece and will definitely be back for more. Tattoo gold is second to none in my opinion! I specifically chose tattoo gold because I wanted my tattoos to stand out amongst the rest and my expectations have always been exceeded. I have been to tattoo gold for my sleeve and recently started a back piece. Coen Mitchel is extremely skilled and i have been consistently impressed how each piece has turned out. The studio balances an extremely professional setting with a hospitable, friendly and fun environment. The other artists there that I've met so far - Maxime, Cristiana, Kieth and Miti are all great artists and provide some great banter while visiting, each of them has a unique style which really makes this place your go to for any type of tattoo you could imagine.

I got my first Tattoo here at Tattoo Gold by Junior Silivaai and I would recommend this shop and this artist to anyone. His wife Erin did a very professional job at helping figure out the design and booking the appointment. Then once everything was set, Junior did a great job at taking it easy on me with plenty of breaks since I never had a tattoo before. After an almost 7 hour session we finished and I received the instructions on how to continue the healing process. The info pamphlet and products they gave us after our session were very helpful and perfect for the healing process. I don’t know a lot of places that give the proper soap and moisturizing cream after getting a tattoo so I was most grateful for that once I noticed that wasn’t widespread anywhere you go.

Such an amazing space full of talented staff and artwork. Coming to a new city it hard trying to work out where to go for tattoos. The whole process here was perfect start to finish. Was really good watching all the artist 🎨 work on their clients and their amazing skill level. So Impressed I've booked again

Stunning shop. It's really modern, clean, and spacious with a great atmosphere. Ti-An was my artist, and she did a fantastic job. The line work is great - clean, neat lines. And although it was only a small tatt... she didn't treat me with any less professionalism than someone who was getting a full back piece. I am sure I will be back.

I saw Ash for my first tattoo. Ash was amazing. Professional, informative, and an incredible artist. She took my concept idea and produced something even better. The fine line work was outstanding. It took me 22 years to get a memorial tattoo for my late husband and at 59 it was my first tattoo. I cannot recommend Tattoo gold and Ash in particular for such a positive and supportive experience. I loved how Ash listened to what was important to me in a design I wanted and guided me through the process. She is a talented artist and I felt in very safe hands. Highly recommend and I will be back.

Junior at tattoogold is the best artist for black & grey realism! I spent over a year searching for the right person and came across Junior's Instagram profile, where his work speaks for itself. Erin was also amazing with bookings, aftercare follow-up, and discussing my tattoo ideas for a full sleeve based on family, travel, and football career. Working with Junior was great; we had awesome chats and lots of laughter during the sessions. Every time I sore the progress & end result on my sleeve, I'm left speechless by Junior's work. His ideas perfectly align & exceed what I wanted for the sleeve. He's a true lad and a talented artist! Can't wait to see you again soon, bro! This review is about Junior, not specifically tattoo gold. I had a large piece done here over multiple sessions and I didnt have a great experience to be honest. The design wasnt shown to me until the day leaving me very little time to decide if I was ok with it or not and no time to make adjustments. At one stage his wife erin said the second half of the tattoo had been designed but i cant see it and to trust junior. Junior is a good artist but I think design work should go back and forward weeks before the appointment rather than the day. As a result im not that happy with my tattoo and am working on changing it. Shop is good otherwise. Clean, some parking.

This has to be the experience! Especially cause it was my first tattoo. This tattoo means a lot to me. So it took awhile for me to finalise who I was gonna to. But man Thanks to the uso Junior for getting it done perfectly! Definitely the best experience and this tattoo has kept me going despite what happened. I Had my calf sleeve done over a few sessions and absolutely loved it, junior and Erin provide such a good service and you can tell so much heart goes into all of juniors work! He has such a deep understanding of all types of Polynesian art, and is so in touch with his cultural roots it made the tattoo special for me and all the more meaningful being half Tongan myself!

I initially contacted Coen regarding the tattoo I wanted and he was very honest about not being able to do it for me and recommended other artists who could do the kind of work I was looking for. Finally I consulted with Ash and that was the best decision I could have made. I got a memorial tattoo of the last conversation I had with my grandfather. Ash was able to beautifully put my idea and her artistic flair together to create a pictorial representation of the conversation. Saying she did a beautiful job is an understatement.
