I am a bundle of nerves going to the dentist, since I was a kid stemming from regular Novocain not working for me during my many fillings. Yesterday, I started off my visits with my arms crossed and hands tight and holding my breath some when getting my cleaning. I didn't really know what to expect when I scheduled my exam here. The staff are all very friendly, very informative with each procedure they are doing, stop to explain what they are doing and what they are looking for, they are truly concerned how I am doing and my comfort the whole time. Very thorough first appointment. I felt so comfortable I was actually relaxed in the dental chair after only a short time. I can't say I have ever had that at the dentist. I got my next appointment scheduled and then talked to the person about my bill and insurance coverage then got an estimate to fix 2 old chipped and bad fillings. Super group here. I would highly recommend and that takes a lot from me as I have a fear of going to dentist.

Once again Neighborhood Dental knocked it out of the park!! I got myself backed into a corner with a dental issue. From my initial call to them regarding my issue until I walked out the door I received the best care. Every single person on staff is kind caring and professional. I seriously feel like I’m family to each and every person I come into contact with. They are very supportive and understanding regarding my level of pain and the anxiety I personally feel. The staff listens to everything I’m sharing with them and react in a nurturing way with outstanding bedside manner. The dental work I receive is always painless and the outcome brings me much needed relief and remarkable results. If I were ever to move out of Yankton SD… one of the cons would be not having Yankton Neighborhood Dental within arm’s reach. Thank you all for genuinely providing the best care a person could ever receive in dentistry. When it comes to my smile the world stops and stares for awhile 🙌🏽 Thankful and Grateful!!!

I am a very nervous person visiting the dentist but the front desk, the doctor, and the nurses all helped ease my anxiety and were able to see me for emergency pain I was having. I was able to get the tooth pulled the next day very quick and (almost) painless.

Had and excellent experience at Neighborhood Dental. They got me in on short notice and took great care of me. Will definitely be back.

I can’t say enough about my Hygienist Alyssa and my doctor, Dr. Larson! They were very thorough and so kind! I will continue recommending Neighborhood Dental to anyone and everyone I know! Dr. Larson at Neigborhppd Dental is the guy you need to take care of your dental needs. He and his staff take the time to listen to your concerns and make sure you are comfortable before any procedure.
