Quite a spacious and well lit restaurant with a nice atmosphere. It wasnt full when we arrived. There seemed to be lots of groups and lots of staff to look after everyone, yet the service was a bit slow. One waiter was very attentive and proactive but otherwise we found ourselves looking around and waving hands to get attention. We were seated almost 5 minutes before we had to ask for a menu, then ask for water, then ask for drinks. It got better after that. The food was fantastic but the set meal for 4 is a little small for 4 really. 6 baklava between 4 seemed odd. Would certainly be back....hopefully the service will be a bit better next time.

A very classy nice restaurant. A warm welcoming, followed by an excellent service, with a lot of attention to details on order to please you. All the menu is delicious and excellent. No word to say that Hoummos Beiruty was awesome. If you have the opportunity to go eat there, do not hesitate ! These are some photos of the food served. :)

Not sure where to start! The whole experience was perfect! The food was amazing and authentic just like the food back home in Lebanon, we had cold and hot mezze platters and a grill main and every platter exceeded expectations, the dessert was just as good specially the Baklava was just yummy! The staff were friendly and nice and the service was 10/10. Highly recommend this place !

Amazing food and lovely service by the manager checking in on us and asking how we were doing. I'd say all the starters will be good but we had the smoked aubergine puree cold starter and the sautéed potatoes hot starter, both of which were incredible. We then had two dishes off the 'traditional' section of the menu, the okra with lamb and the slow cooked aubergine. Absolutely incredible flavours. I wish I could know the recipe! Excuse the empty dishes for the mains, they were demolished before I remembered to take a picture, they were that good! Lamb was melt in the mouth delicious.

This was a birthday surprise for me from my partner. We chose the pre selected menu option as I like to experience as much of the food as a local would without having the acquired knowledge of what to eat. We wanted the second option (of two options pre selected) but when the food started to come we got the other option. It was a glorified kebab and very much overpriced. The desert was awful. We both took literally one bite and send we don’t want it. The one member of staff on show said yes we’ve had a few complaints about the desert. So why do you offer it up still? Not to mention this wasn’t the desert we wanted! When we said this we were told the other desert wasn’t available that day! Didn’t think to tell us when we chose our dinner that half of what you want isn’t on the menu? I have never felt like not paying at a restaurant before until here. We paid but if I had been of a different nature you would have seen a different reaction. Truly awful and I would never go there again. I work in the city, and have a lot interactions with people regarding local cuisine and such like. I always always tell people to avoid this place based on this terrible experience. My partner emailed you and demanded an explanation and got….. absolutely nothing. Total silence. Worst place I’ve ever experienced. Because we try so many different restaurants and cuisines you would think this might happen one or two times more but I’ve never experienced it as bad as here. Half eaten. Half enjoyed. And a bill to match a kings ransom. Awful.

The food was good and the portion sizes were big but not oversized. The special sauce was very spicy, so try a bit before pouring it all on. The lamb was a bit bland but the chicken was very flavorful.

Awesome experience indeed. Incredible Food, Great Customer service, lovely smiles and laughter. Staff were were friendly especially the manager Abs and a lady called L who was serving us. I was very impressed with ABS suggesting the right food for us and especially he helping a lady on wheel chair and dropping her till her car.

The food here really is fantastic. Every dish is packed with flavour - the tabbouleh was sooooo fresh , the falafel had the perfect texture, the dips and warm Lebanese bread were delicious. The mouth watering meat is cooked to perfection and portions are massive. Make sure you go hungry 😋. We had so much food we couldn’t finish it all. It's pretty hard to narrow down the must-try dishes but our hot tip is to order the mixed grill and some of their delicious Moutabal (Grilled smoked aubergine puree) with some warm Lebanese bread. Thanks again for the service you did to us. Recommended

We went for lunch at Beity with high expectations and I found that it didn’t quite deliver on what I’d hoped for. The kafta meshwe was dry and there wasn’t much sauce on the side for it either. The salad was tasty but the rice was quite bland and needed some sauce with it. My friend got the kasbah, which had more spice and flavour, but wasn’t blown away. The kenafe was not what we expected either, having had kunefe in Turkey, it was quite different. Personally I didn’t love this version. The restaurant was practically empty when we were there, yet the service was pretty poor. The waitress took a while to take our orders and even when we wanted to get the attention of the staff it was difficult. Would say there are better places to try, this one wasn’t for me.

Was really looking forward to our visit at Beity, however it was underwhelming. The restaurant needs a refurbishment to bring it back to life, looks and feels very old and back dated. The service is is not that professional but the waiters were friendly. The mixed grill was nice and the starters were good. However, the moussaka was absolutely terrible, very bland and I was horrified that they actually served a dish that was that bland.

Very nicely set out restaurant with a nice atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I think this was my first experience of Lebanese food and I have to say, I was not disappointed! The food was excellent and not too expensive either. The only small down side, was the service was a little slow. I would definitely recommend eating here, don't miss out!

The food was excellent. I usually order the grilled chicken, as it is my favorite from Beity, but this time I went for the kebab instead, and it did not disappoint. The service was good and quick. The lady who served me was quite friendly and smiley. The owner of the restaurant himself, when he is there, makes sure his customers are served well and asks if we need anything else. Thank you for this wonderful experience. I would love to visit again and again.

First time visit for me, second time for my partner, he wanted to return today due to liking the food on previous visits. Now I normally write a good review but on today’s occasion I’m not too sure where the goodness is in my visit to this location. So let’s start from the top, when walking in we were greeted by a polite and smiling young lady who promptly sat us at a table, handed us our menus and disappeared- this was the last of the interaction for at least 30 minutes! My partner had to go up to the bar to ask someone to take our order, no drinks were offered when we sat down (like most restaurants unless you’re in Nando’s or a self service locations!) then upon ordering the food we were told that one of the dishes we ordered wasn’t available anymore (lucky my partner is happy to change) after all it was 9pm and they close at 11 so we excepted this, drinks and starters were brought over promptly, starters were hot, filled with flavours and the bread served was warm- not much could be said about how freezing this location was! I was sat with my scarf wrapped around me (generally frowned upon wearing your coat in a restaurant!) it was bitter and I was frozen! Considering it’s -2 outside right now, I like eating in the warmth! Shortly after finishing the starters the mains were brought over- the waiter didn’t even remove the other plates that were empty and stacked (just so they new they were done with) and left them on the table. I had the mixed shawarma and it was terrible, no flavour, very dry, meat felt like it was overcooked, I had a few mouthfuls and only ate the rice after, was very disappointed. My partner however enjoyed his despite the fact it was like warm, the tahini sauce brought out was like water- my partner is Egyptian and was really looking forward to the food, we were both disappointed. Once it came to the end of the meal- by this point no one had stopped past to make sure the food was ok, to see if we needed any drinks (again like most restaurants do!) everyone was stood around the bar/kitchen area not paying any attention to the paying customers, considering at this point there was only 2 of us in the restaurant so not exactly like they were busy or short staffed! My partner had to yet again go up to the bar to request paying the bill because no one was paying any attention. I’m sorry it’s a bad review from me today it’s not my normal thing to do but upon reading the other reviews I was expecting something different. Bitterly disappointed with the £60 bill for a poor service and poor food. Defiantly not planning on returning!

Really lovely staff. All wearing a smile and are very kind and helpful, nothing is too much to request. The food is absolutely delicious. Really liked the salads and the lamb was prepared and cooked to perfection. Really beautiful flavours from how it was marinated to the wonderful flavour of the barbecue. Not dried out or burnt like many places do. And most importantly not salty. I was even given a baklava on the house as a treat. I would highly recommend trying out this restaurant. Thank you so much for a lovely experience. Millie

Fantastic Restaurant 🍽 👏🏻 I really enjoy coming here regularly when visiting Southampton, the food is always beautifully cooked and gives you the traditional taste of Lebanese cuisine. The waitresses are also very friendly and will provide you with a good service when dining. If you want good traditional Mediterranean food, then look no further, this is one of the best in Southampton!.

We had come from Wales and were not sure where to eat. We ended up here after looking at the menu online yesterday. It did not disappoint. The food was delicious, portion sizes were generous and the staff were fab. It was a friends birthday and they made it memorable with a candle and music. Thank you so much. Definitely recommend this place

We booked a table here or a birthday meal, on arrival it took 20 mins to get menus and a drinks order. Then drinks were brought incorrectly, gin and prosecco?!? A latte in a dirty mug that looked like someone's old coffee mug. However, they did sort all this out and new correct drinks bought. Starters were good, mains were nice, just timings were way off 2 hours to get a main meal!! More went out in takeaway... haven't quite got the balance of restaurant and takeaway. Not a terrible experience, but be prepared to wait on a Saturday night!!

Although we only came for dessert, we were greeted with a warm welcome on our arrival. The desserts were amazing, just as good as their presentation. Really recommend paying a visit, especially with warmer days upcoming! Thank you Beity😇

First time visiting this restaurant & we couldn't fault it. The food was delicious, service fantastic and reasonably priced too. Great vibe for a midweek evening. Nothing was too much trouble. Will recommend & will return.

Decor could have been bit more special and we had to wait quote while for food...Tasty but could be more generous portions and more on presentation

Beity had a wide selection of dishes on offer, very nice Lebanese wine and plenty of indoor seating. The starters were very fresh and tasty, but our main dishes were a little disappointing. Some of our group had been given food that they didn't order and had to wait for replacements with no apology given. Has the potential to score higher with a few small improvements to service and finishing touches on mains.

Great food, plenty of it too. Staff were great. I will definitely be going back. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Very impressed apart from one thing. The Gents toilet is a bit of a minefield if like me you're disabled. Very steep, and deep steps down in to it, and the floor was a bit slippery. No actual disabled toilet. Apart from that, it's pretty good.

Great food but exorbitant prices. The food has always been top-notch but unfortunately the poor value let’s this place down. Prices weren’t always this steep and increased post-ramadan. This alone cost me £17. A couple of months ago, the same dish was £14.50 and moreover included extras; Garlic sauce, Chilli sauce and Lebanese bread. These extras are now charged separately and cost £3.50 combined. £20.50 versus £14.50. Why have prices increased by 40%? The same applies to other dishes. Whilst it’s tasty, it’s *certainly* not worth the price. Extremely disappointed.

I went to Beity restaurant with 16 other people from the Southampton Council of Faiths, to celebrate the group’s annual dinner & social networking. We were looked after hand & foot by the manger/owner & his team. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The food choices were as varied as they were delicious, with cold & warm starters and mains to satisfy both meat & vegetarian needs 😋 The restaurant was busy and despite our large group, we did not feel like we were waiting too long to be served. A great evening, pleasant atmosphere, delicious food, well worth a visit.
