After years of eating from here I’m so disgusted and disappointed that I found a roach attached and cooked with my chicken. My husband orders from here 2 to 3 times per week and sometimes even multiple times a day. The prices have always been so low for good size portions but now I’m left wondering if that was the trade off. I can’t stop thinking about all the roaches we’ve must have eaten without knowing because I almost missed the roach attached to my chicken. When I called to let them know they have roaches the individual who answered was very apologetic and offered to remake the food but I told him unfortunately I don’t trust your kitchen anymore as you clearly have roaches. I don’t believe it’s possible to have just 1 roach so surely there is more. The manager refused to speak with me which was telling. I explained to the man that I was only calling as a curtesy to let them know they have roaches so they can correct the situation. The man said they take preemptive measures to ensure this doesn’t happen but clearly those measures did not work. It’s not like the roach crawled into the food after it was cooked, the roach was cooked with the chicken. It was burnt and stuck right to the side of the skewered chicken. It’s a very sad, disgusting, and disappointing situation. Unfortunately I can no longer recommend or support this establishment.

Been coming here for the past couple years, and I have to say it's really good. Everything is fresh. The taste of the food is phenomenal. It is primarily a takeout spot as others have mentioned. It is best that you call ahead for your order as it takes 10-15 mins to prepare. Pictured below is the Pork souvlaki dinner, which comes with: Pork Souvlaki, Greek salad, fries, pita and tzaziki sauce. This costs about $15 but considering the portions, it's worth it. The staff is nice too. Overall it's a good spot 5 stars.

So far so good. We try this Gyro today and we really enjoyed it. The place is small but nice and tidy. A few tables are available. A lot of people came to pick up orders to go. So we also order to go. Their serving is big enough for sharing but it also depends on your appetite. The gentleman who took our orders assist us so well. Will surely come back again. Yum 😋

I'm originally from Hewlett but for a few years I lived in Valley Stream. Chicken GD became one of my favorite places to visit and have a delicious meal. I loved the food so much. I would either order online or pick it up. So good!. Also the guys are so well mannered and very helpful. Always a good reason to go there and have an amazing food experience for sure.

This place freakin’ RULES! Everything, and I repeat EVERYTHING on the menu is amazing. I’ve had not one bad meal from this place. The gyros, chicken souvlaki gyros, ribs(best in town, no lie), chicken fingers, chicken nuggets, rotisserie chicken, rice, coleslaw, salads…last but not least the BURGERS! I can’t say enough good things about Chicken Delicious Everything is fresh, the delivery is always so fast, your food is piping hot. The ordering process by phone is great, the staff is so nice, personable & patient. I’ve asked a few times in the past if they would be so kind to not ring my doorbell upon delivery (b/c my dog will go nuts) which they did no problem. I don’t know if it’s because I order too often? Or that they have made a note on my phone #? But I don’t even need to ask anymore because the delivery folks just know to give me a call, rather than to ring my bell. I know that’s something so minimal but I appreciate them paying attention to those little details. I’ve ordered online a few times too and everything went smoothly, no different if you were to call. You get a lot of bang for your buck, each meal has large portions. They do not skimp out stuffing those gyros, the ribs are meaty & the burgers are huge! This place is a 10! Thank you for never disappointing Chicken Delicious!

I had their large Greek salad with lamb and it was so yummy! The salad is huge so if u get it just know your skipping dinner. The place is more of a call ahead grab and go type vibe but they do have a few tables and chairs. They have a huge menu so trust you will find something you'll like but that Greek salad comes highly recommended from yours truly!!

Their food is very good. I have been coming here for years. They usually are quick to make the food unless it is very busy.

Horrible.... worst food ever..... The service was good but the food is not authentic at all... boxed and frozen ... the tzatziki sauce was store made and the chicken was not seasoned and the fries was oily..... and men just sitting around with the company shirts on like they are security.... I will never ever go back here again......

Usually call for food to be delivered. Food always arrives fast and hot. Quality of the food has always been excellent and the menu has an abundance of food options.

Been a customer for years, always love their food. The salads and the chicken gyro is a high recommendation.

If i could give this place more than 5 stars i would! Their Chicken Gyro Platter is my go to. Chicken is super juicy and delicious. They're generous with their servings too! super worth it.

Very disappointed with the potato salad. No taste and is more like mash potato than anything. And they put it in a small container. 😔

I have been meaning to write a review for chicken gyro delicious for a while. They have been a staple on Rockaway ave in valley stream for decades. We use them for ordering dinner and catering parties. The people are so nice and helpful and the food is always fresh and amazing. They know their business and they do it well.

Definitely give this place a try. You won't be sorry. Great food and service. I come here pretty often and they are always on point. Very friendly on the phone and in person. They always get my order right and it's always ready when I get there to pick up. What more can you ask for?

I had forgotten that this was a regular place for us when we lived in Valley Stream. We were in the neighborhood and ordered take out dinner for our family while we were baking Christmas cookies. The food was just as good as I had remembered. We ordered barbecue fried chicken with Greek salad, Fried shrimp platter, And chicken souvlaki platters. All the food was fresh and ready when we came to pick it up.

We always get food delivered and always in a timely manner. The food is hot & delicious. The people working there are polite, friendly and helpful.

Clean, cozy, efficiently run shop. Souvlaki and double salad prepared as ordered, smartly seasoned and delivered 5 mins early. Very good staff chemistry. Very satisfied this being my first visit hers

Pretty good local food with friendly service. The nuggets were great, but their onion rings were just okay, as was their BBQ sauce. But, I can still recommend this place!

Once again, Chicken Gyro Delicious was awesome. I placed an order for 6 individuals and requested for delivery at a specific hour! The food arrived on time, hot and fresh and as usual Delicious!

This place has changed drastically, in the past 6 years! I ordered a 4 piece chicken dinner & a burger meal, two rice puddings they billed $51.00! Not only was the price outrageous, the chicken was dry & disgusting, the mixed vegetables were soggy & grey. Sorry to say I'll never go back there again. They don't even deserve even one star. What a shame and a rip off.

This is my favorite neighborhood spot, and the food is fantastic, reasonably priced, and the staff is absolutely amazing. I highly recommend the burgers, and the salads. A side order of gyro meat is a flavorful addition to your entree! Support local businesses that do good work; Chicken Gyro Delicious is one of the best spots!
