Karahi house happens to be perfectly located in an area lacking food with such truly amazing ethnic tastes. I’ve shared pictures of two separate visits; in my first visit with a friend we ordered the mixed grill and chicken masala. The mixed grill was to try all of the meats they had to offer seeing as it was my first sit down there. In my second visit I wanted to go more traditional so we ordered chicken korma in one dish and lamb curry for the other, always accompanied by the delicious garlic naan. Both visits I truly left satisfied and the food is fresh most importantly and a double bonus as the food happens to be fairly priced (a steal of a price to me for what you’re eating)

The service here is terrible. Waited about an hour after ordering food. After a while we got tired and asked them how much longer will it take because the people who came way after us were getting served. The waiter’s reply to this was that “we make food fresh, the other people ordered before coming in”. This was absolutely a lie as I saw the family ordering in front of us. The waiter was also showing attitude. I was really upset and had to leave after because I’ve already wasted about an hour. I was really looking forward to trying food from here but after having this experience I won’t step foot in that restaurant again.

Not sure what people are complaining about, fresh food takes time to cook. I ordered the chicken kharahi, it was impeccable. Will definitely go back.

I suggest the owner to please close the restaurant on its own before his/ her heart aches when no one will visit it amymore. Tastless frozen food is served after warming it lightly in oven or a stove. Karahi and BBQ are absolutely below average. Service is poor. I saw other customers too who were complaining after food quality. No more visit from me and my friends to this place.

The beast chicken karahi I ever had in US 🇺🇸They only make it fresh after an order is placed, so do expect them to take some time. Very reasonable prices.

Clean restaurant, good environment and great food! I loved their service also. It’s really good and worth the money and wait. I’d suggest them to serve food all at once instead of serving one by one.

Visited them last weekend after 8 months. They never disappoint MashaAllah. We enjoyed perfectly made karahi and flavorful mixed grill. Our usual order. JANUARY 2023: Visited their new location today. Happy that they didn't loose their food quality. Awesome spot. Loved their Mutton Karahi! Meat was so soft... presentation was outstanding. A karahi made with passion and served with love. Our go to halal pakistani karahi place.

This is my second time coming here, the first time was very good- our food was very flavorful. Today was the second time I’ve been here and I’ve never been so disappointed in a restaurant. I never ever leave reviews and have never left a bad review so you can understand how bad it was. The service was so so bad. We came in, ordered our food, we ordered our appetizers, chai and then our dinner all at once. The salad came out and while we were eating it we found a cut rubber band in the salad which is a little gross but sometimes accidents happen! So not that big of a deal. Anyways, we’re waiting and our food comes and it is literally all bone. We got the goat kirahi and of course goat has bone but there was barely any meat- completely different than the last time we were there. Not only that, we ask if we can get our chai now and he says in a minute. Well we eat all our food (the little we had) and the chai And the appetizers didn’t even come until after we were done eating. How does the dinner come before the appetizers? we were there 1 1/2 hours and we didn’t get our drinks until we were leaving.. I’m very disappointed because I hyped this place up for my family and everyone ended up really disappointed. I don’t mind waiting for good food, but when you wait so long for scraps and bad service it isn’t worth it. We told the guy our disappointment, being respectful about it and he just ignored us. I don’t think I will ever come back, maybe sometime in the future I may give it another chance but I don’t think anytime soon.

This food was AMAZING! I had heard about this place and finally decided to give it a try and WOW. I wish I went sooner because everything was delicious. This is easily one of the better desi spots in the NY area and you should absolutely give it a try. The service was amazing as well, and when you combine that with great food, it’s a no brainer that I’ll def be back.

I wish I could rate his 0 stars but unfortunately google doesn’t allow that. Im the type of person who doesn’t really review places unless they really mess up. I cant believe what they served me. I bought butter chicken and chicken tikka masala and I kid you not it seemed like it was prepared in the same pot. It was too oily and uneatable. The glare you see in the photo below is a thick layer of straight oil. I would never recommend this place to anyone and please take your hard earned money somewhere else as you will surely regret spending anything here. I forgot to mention that the worker at the front forgot to punch in my order even after taking the payment. Talk about only being open for the money. Smh EDIT: Lol the restaurant replied after 3 months, poor management

Haven’t had poor experiences like others. Definitely rank their kebabs, they are different than others, more flavorful. Stick to seekh kebabs and chicken karahi. Both have been a hit each time.

Tried this place out on a whim a couple of weeks ago and have been back three times since. The mixed grill platter, biryani, pulao, and Karahi are outstanding. All the food is cooked fresh, so expect to wait about 15-20 minutes once you order. The place has been recently renovated, so it's clean and well appointed. If you're a fan of Pakistani or Indian cuisine, try it out. Absolutely worth the twenty five minute drive for me. I'll be back!

Ordered lamb biryani and it was not flavorful at all. They claim the lamb is boneless and it had bone. The lamb was also way too spicy but the rice was bland. Will not be ordering from here again.

This place is incredible. I had the chicken ginger with sesame and garlic naan and it was one of the best combinations I’ve ever had in my life. The service was great, the ambiance was really good and honestly I will be a regular at this store !

I came into Karahi House for iftar and I enjoyed every part of my meal. The owner explained to me the history of the Karahi dish and was very attentive to me. The flavors were perfect but I had to ask them to go easy on the spices. I had the gulab Jomun (I don’t remember how to spell it) for dessert. It was so good, I bought a half dozen to go. Karahi House is a full go if you’re looking for traditional Karahi cuisine!

My family and I went out for my sisters birthday. We were all craving desi food. I remembered a friend had recommended Karahi house. We decided to try it out. I’m glad we did, everyone enjoyed the food. We tried the goat and chicken Karahi and both were great. Mix grill was really good as well. Chicken biryani was very good. Top it off with birthday cake ( Bought from outside bakery), we all had chai, and chai was excellent!! The hospitality by the owner and his staff was tremendous. Wished they had more space Bc they will Be packed all the time. Thank you Kashif

Visited here on a whim for dinner. Service was great. We ordered ahead as was told by the host. Arrived at 8pm. Food came out shortly after. We ordered, chicken Tikka Masala, chicken Korma, lamb madra, garlic naan and classic naan, chicken jaz frezil (not sure of the spelling). The portions are huge We could have shared and ordered less. The korma was really good. The lamb madra was salty for our taste and I thought the chicken jaz was served too oily. The chicken and veggies in the dish however was really good. Overall I would visit again. The price was also affordable.

Order karahi ghost, waiting time was little longer than expected but karahi ghost was on point , chicken soft n juicy flavorful and Samosa chaat was good but needs more chutney ( imli tamarind sauce)

The food was amazing . We ordered goat buryani and goat karahi and the taste was unbelievably great. It was so authentic, all dishes are made fresh and you can tell by the taste and wait time.Every minute is worth the wait . Loved it

OMG they have best Lahori style chicken karahi .Lahori food lovers must try .

Visited with my family, Lamb Karahi was something extra special. It was surely one of the best I have ever had. Also the Tres Leches Cake was really good. Customer service was great also, we were taken care of well.
