Best Falafel! I went to Tavlin to get some falafel balls. I was surprised that they made them fresh for me! As I waited I checked out some of their Mediterranean staples and was happy to see packed shelves with pickles, jams, breads, salads and cheeses, plus wide variety of snacks...they even had an olive station! Will definitely be back!

They have the best baba ganoush on the planet! My wife, my 2 year old son and I are hooked. We drive 40 minutes from Ronkonkoma just for the baba ganoush.

Love this place! Today was my first visit but my parents have been coming here for years! The owners Sarah and Marc were so kind and personal and they remembered people that have been there in the past. The selection of the Mediterranean food was amazing I came home with so many exciting things to eat and I can tell you already the hummus is delicious!

We live on eastern Long Island and for years have driven an hour each way to go to Tavlin. This place is really something special. The hummus, baba ghanoush and falafel are incredible. We also love the boreka, laffa bread, and their olive bar is great. They also carry Syrian cheese which has become really tough to find. We have ordered party platters from them and everyone comments on how insanely good everything is. The owners are great people who really care about the quality of their food.

Great selection of homemade food, Mediterranean delicacies and rare cheeses. Really nice, helpful owners and staff. Every visit is a pleasure. It’s a neighborhood gem.

There are no words to describe how amazing this place is. I have been coming here with my grandmother since I was a little girl. Everything is homemade and absolutely delicious! Sarah and her husband have owned and made everything from scratch for 30 plus years and the quality as always been at the highest level. I cannot say enough about the homemade food here . The babaganoush there are no words for. It's the best thing you've ever eaten, it is a must try! All the barakas are absolutely delicious, flaky and warm and moist. The eggplant salads, the olives, the homemade dried fruit and nuts I can go on for days. And make sure you don't leave without getting a piece of halvah!!
