Love this place! After having a bad experience at a salon a year ago I was bit hesitant of getting my hair done again. I explained to my stylist,Sue, my situation and she was so sweet and understanding. Anytime I got anxious I would let her know and she would let me cool off and reset myself. Hair wise, the bottom of my hair wouldn’t really pick up the bleach and we were scared of how to blend it all in but she killed it and I was left with beautiful warm blonde highlights and a stunning layered haircut. This place is a bit pricey as my bill was around 500 dollars but so worth it giving the end result! Will be coming back for sure!

Our fist visit , is the way we decided to come again for the second ..and for the future ! Our experience, at first visit is , well pampered ( it’s for my mom ) . It’s was so perfect. Ms. Sue did apply the colour, then the second person came to wash my moms hair . I highly recommend this location. They’re all makes our better world so to speak . Salon is located right outside the Bayview subway station, which is very convenient for anyone coming from far away. The salon is big and clean. I got my haircut from Sarah, and she was incredible. The hair cut turned out one of the best I had. My hair looks summer ready. The prices are good considering they use very good products on hair. I would be going for hair color very soon.

I love Nicole. She always gives me the best style based on what I ask for but also what’s best for me personally. I’m always offered something to drink and treated like royalty. I will never go to another hair stylist as long as I live in Toronto. I went to Nicole with very long hair and decided to cut it all off. She did a beautiful job. I thought I would be emotional cutting off almost a foot of hair, but Nicole did such an amazing job that I wasn’t sad at all. I was soooo happy.

I’ve been going to Emirson for over 9 years and I’ve never been disappointed. I’ve referred multiple friends to him and they’ve only been happy with his expertise. He takes the time to understand what you want and when asked, recommends what would be flattering to us and would match the texture of our hair. Also, Sarah has been cutting my son’s hair for a few times now and she expertly cuts and styles his hair. It always ends up looking very stylish and fashionable

After a few bad experiences at other salons, I was so nervous going into the appointment … but Nicole did a really amazing job! I cannot stop looking at my hair and I’ve gotten so many compliments!! The colour is exactly what I was looking for and the cut is perfect too 😊 My favourite thing about the salon (after it’s talented staff) is that they keep a file for you on which products they used and services you’ve discussed so you can always return and get the same great results. Sarah cut my hair today and I love it! I tried cutting my own bangs and angles recently and she did a great job fixing my hack job by blending everything in nicely. She was quiet, which I really appreciated because I have had bad experiences in the past with stylists feeling like they need to small talk me and then they get distracted and give me a haircut that I don't like. Sarah was also really gentle with my hair which I appreciated since I have a sensitive scalp. Highly recommend booking with her! Thanks Sarah!

My experience with Sue was great from start to finish. She took time to listen to what I was wanting to have done, explained things thoughly and super friendly and easy to talk to. I was so happy with my hair in the end - I highly recommend her. Will be back :)

They have phenomenal customer service here. I got my hair coloured by Nicole three weeks ago and called the other day to see if I could get the colour adjusted slightly. She did an amazing job but wanted it a tad darker. It’s out of their policy, but I explained the situation and they let me come back in to get it done to my satisfaction. Nicole did a great job. Super nice staff and very attentive!

I was recommended this salon by my friend. First, salon has great and pleasant atmosphere. I want to do my hair with Emirson and he is very busy, so you need to book your appointment in advance. Emirson done my haircut and I am soo happy. I have a curly/wavy hair and it's not always easy to do right hair cut. Emirson is very patient and he's listening what exactly you want. I got my first super short haircut here and it was a great experience! Nicole was super attentive to the cut I wanted and was very professional. I'm so happy with how it turned out, and the salon overall was filled with friendly staff and had such a nice atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

I want to enthusiastically recommend Sarah from DBK Salon -- Bayview. I require a basic men's haircut, nothing difficult, but Sarah takes her time, is highly skilled, detailed, gentle, and never makes me feel rushed or like she wants to move on quickly to the higher-value clients. On my first couple of visits, she asked detailed questions about what I was looking for in the cut and I am now completely comfortable just letting her do her thing. The price is reasonable, the location convenient, and the staff are friendly. And one more thing: whereas most salons offer a perfunctory quick wash, Sarah gives a head massage that you'd pay a premium for at any spa. I'm planning to get my hair cut more frequently just because it's such a pleasant experience. Guys, if you visit DBK Bayview, you're never going back to your old-school barber.

I used to be nervous about getting my haircut until I started coming here. I’ve been coming here for two years now and I’m always happy with my haircuts! Sora is super nice and gives you exactly what you ask for. You don’t feel obliged to make conversation so as an introvert I appreciate that. The receptionist is nice and welcoming as well. I also like that they’ll be playing a sitcom in the background that you can watch when getting your hair done and listen to music so it doesn’t get boring sitting in a chair for too long! I’ve recommended this place to everyone who asks where I get my hair cut and they’ve also been very happy too.

After trying out several hair salons around the area, DBK salon gave by far the best experience among the other places that I have recently been to! While I highly recommend this place, Sarah, one of the hair stylists who took care of me made the additional great impression!:) She was incredible and knew exactly what I wanted with my haircut with layers, which I could be pretty picky with! With her excellent proficiency and customer service, I am definitely going back here for my next haircut/style!

I have been to DBK twice and it was a great experience both times. They take care of you and your hair really well. My favourite stylist is Sarah. She is the sweetest! I was really satisfied with my haircut both times. The best part of the whole experience is the way they gently wash your head before the cut and give a little head massage which is suuuper relaxing!

I’ve been going to Sue at DBK Salon Bayview for a few years now. Sue repaired my damaged hair from my at-home hair colour attempts. Her hair cuts are absolutely beautiful! What sets this salon apart from others is their meticulous cleanliness, professionalism and gracious service with a smile. Highly recommended!

Sarah is AWEsome! I have been to see her twice now, for the same services. She takes the time to understand exactly what I want, and her skills are excellent! I have finally found the salon where I can relax and rely on looking amazing after my appointments!

I received a cut and colour treatment from Sora. The colour treatment was great but that’s about it. As I sat in my chair I was not greeted and the hairstylist didn’t make me feel welcome at all. We sat in silence for probably 95% of the appointment. I got a half head of highlights and I was pleased with the colour as it matched my previous colour. I asked for bangs, a trim and to have my hair thinned for the summer as part of my cut. I did get bangs (which I loved) but the stylist did not trim my ends nor thin out my hair overall. The appointment cost me close to $300 which I would’ve expected to pay for a full head of colour, not just partial highlights and a slight trim.

I highly recommend Nicole from this salon. This is my second time getting hair cut and style with Nicole and I'm thoroughly happy with the service. I'm quite specific in the kind of layering that I want and Nicole really listens to what I wanted and most importantly delivers. I must also say that the head massage that she gives is almost totally worth the visit on its own. She's definitely my go to stylist now. I should also note that the salon itself is conveniently located near Bayview Village - a little trip to the high end mall after getting my hair done is a bonus. Also, they serve you cappuccino while you wait for the hair artist to clean the washing station after washing your hair. I appreciate those little gestures.

Got my hair done by Nicole and I was extremely happy with the result! My hair before was pretty dull, with barely any texture and layers. When I got there, the lady at the front was very welcoming and kind. Following my welcome, I was greeted by Nicole who spent 10 minutes talking to me about my hair and what I wanted. After that, I had the best hair wash ever! Nicole asked me what my hair needed and chose shampoo and conditioner that was best suited for my hair. The lady gave me a nice head massage with the wash and constantly made sure that I was comfortable and enjoying my experience. I had told Nicole I wanted layers, specifically face framing layers, and that v-shaped cut; and she did exactly that! I was very happy with my visit and I am glad I was recommended to her. I will definitely be going back. If you are also looking for someone who is affordable in terms of cut and style, personally I found the price was great! Can’t wait to visit again!

I went for my haircut it was good with Sarah. The lady at the counter was super rude only care about money. I booked for highlights and they wanted deposit of 100$ over the phone with my credit card, I was not feeling safe to give over the phone I offered them If I could e transfer she said its not possible. Next day they just cancel my appointment, I took time off for my hair colour. She is actually not willing to listen to customers need and cut off in between while we talk over the phone.
