I Booked a service for my birthday, my first time going out to dinner in over a year. The stylist asked what I wanted done and I asked for the “Holly Would” style which is supposed to be full of large voluminous curls. I’ve had this style done by many others in the past and it’s always beautiful. This stylist did not take a single heating tool to my hair aside from the blow dryer. No curls were added as you can see from the photos taken 1 hour after my service. As she was ending the service I asked her if she was sure I was done and she said you’re finished. When I asked “really?” she snapped the towel off the back of my shirt and said “You’re done.” I have never had a bad experience here. I wasn’t even spoken to by the stylist for my entire service, which made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. The girl cashing me out didn’t ask if I liked my hair or even compliment it - she simply told me my total and asked if I needed the machine? I called literally in tears and crying on the drive home and spoke with someone at a different location who was extremely kind and apologetic and assured me that the manager of the Bayview Village location would contact me during the following week to discuss this. No one has called. No one has emailed. No one has made any attempt to contact me at all. I am exceptionally disappointed with Blo Bayview and won’t be returning to that location again. Edited to add: The owner left a comment on the review asking me to reach out to her, which I did immediately. I received no reply for 2 weeks and had to reach out again. Finally, I received a response that offered me a $20 discount on another service to give them another chance. That’s it. No questions about the service or my satisfaction or what can be done to coach employees. No recognition of error or on their part, no offer to refund, nothing. The entire point of it was to look good on this review and like she is trying to correct a mistake. I’m even more disappointed now than I was before. Be advised this same owner owns the Bayview, King West, Thornhill, Vaughan, Yonge and Yorkville locations.

Thank you Angie for the amazing service. I booked an appointment here super last minute and I’m so glad I did. I wanted an updo and makeup but there wasn’t enough time based on the bookings they had online. But when I told my hairdresser she said it’s no problem and she can do my makeup for me. She did everything time-efficiently and still made sure everything was perfect and in place. My makeup and hair lasted for 12 hours ( and probably more if I hadn’t taken them off) after lots of dancing and sweating. I’m grateful for my experience and will come here again !

Very happy with the hair wash and styling, Silas took very careful care in her technique. Every curl was created with intention, ensuring I got the perfect swirls. She took my input as she worked and asked me what I liked before doing it, which I really appreciated since I don't like hairspray or tacky products in my hair. Thank you for all your hard work, the results exceeded my expectations! Would definitely reccomend.

Just not good. Go to an actual hair salon if you want professional service. 1. Only shampooed once, did not repeat 2. Did not properly detangle my hair before hair drying. Therefore she was ripping through the knots with the round brush 3. Did not use a heat protectant before using the flat iron on my hair 4. Also ripped through my hair with the straightener, surprised I didn’t get whiplash 5. Final result did not look anything like the “featured look” they had on their mirror. When I got home and looked at the back of my head, there were straightener dents all over my hair.

Amira was absolutely exceptional! Her expertise in handling my hair was truly remarkable, and what truly impressed me was her dedication to involving me in every step of the decision-making process for my blowout. Not only did she listen attentively to my preferences, but she also made sure that my desires were reflected in the final result. My experience during the appointment with her was nothing short of delightful—I felt truly valued and heard throughout.

Writing this on behalf of my mother. She had asked for beachy waves , and it turned out like this ...... what a surprise on her daughter's wedding day! She was not impressed.

Ridiculously bad service. I went there for prom hair styling and my appointment was for 1 hour. They hardly spend 1/2 on my hour including the wash. Didn’t put any effort at all. Just played with my hair a little bit and charged full price. I wanted volume with blow dry but she made my hair flatter than they acc are otherwise. wouldn’t recommend at all

They have cancelled on me twice blaming their computer system. They should have at least offered a simple discount for future use. They have no idea how to run a business their customer service is horrible. If your business has to cancel on someone then you should rectify it. If I had missed my appointment they would have charged my card the whole price. So then it goes both ways. Go somewhere else especially if you want to make sure your appointment has any priority.

My stylist, if we can even call her that was rude and sucked at what she did. Which is comical considering this place is supposed to specialize in blow outs. She soaked me while washing my hair. Didn't dry it properly. Didn’t put any tension on the hair so all I was left with was a frizz ball. We fought over her applying a heat protectant I literally had to beg her to do it. Left me with wet hair and burnt my face. Didn't even apologize and tried to tell me she did a good job

Not sure if the name of my stylist as I was quickly “greeted” and immediately rushed to the sink. The stylist didn’t even ask to take my jacket or give me a moment to take my hair out of my pony tail. I understand your are under time constraints but I did book extended time and a little customer service goes a long way. After a quick wash, I was rushed to the blow dry chair and the whole rest of the service was aggressive and rushed. I was burned by the heat on multiple occasions and despite making a face and pulling away, she didn’t ease up. I’m assuming she had on the highest setting in order to get it done faster. My hair looked ok at the end, nothing to write home about… not to mention fell completely by the end of the day. When I mentioned the service only took 55 min and not 1hr 15 min which is what I had originally booked, she still charged for the extra time/fee. Won’t be going back to this location, unfriendly and lacked customer service, not to mention all the other stylists looked miserable.

Super friendly staff and VERY efficient — they started with me even though I was a little early for my appointment, worked quickly but effectively and got me out early! My hair looked glamorous and held up all night!!

Good staff, great reception. Usually my hair style last for a week but this time my hair got fizzy after a day . It was my first experience in this shop and asked them please don’t apply any softener lotion or cream to keep my hair style longer. I may try another time.

found the pricing a bit on the higher end for not the most amazing results. My hair fell flat within an hour. Not sure if it was the products/equipment or the stylist. However- It was still nice to have a wash/dry by someone else. The staff was pleasant. But the salon is very small and very tight with all the seats filled.

fast, friendly service and hair looked nice. Person doing my hair pulled a little too hard at times, and hair dryer was a little too close to my scalp (felt some burning sensations) but overall was pretty good.

Booked a service that included scalp massage and deep conditioning treatment, the hair washing experience felt no different from any regular hair wash, as I looked on to how other clients were being helped, the same amount of attention and care was given to all clients. My hair was also not styled in the way I had requested, I had asked for big bouncy voluminous curls which I had a showed picture of Farrah Fawcett, as I was going to a 70s themed party but the stylist who helped me asked me to choose a signature style so I chose Holly Would for the “big barrelled curls” as specified in the description but what I ended up with was loose curls with no volume, my hair fell flat even before the stylist was done and she was hesitant to use a hot iron until I insisted. I would never pay for such a service again.

I highly recommend Honey to anyone seeking a talented and personable hair stylist. I will definitely be returning for future appointments. Thank you for making me look and feel fantastic!

It was my first time coming here and was referred by my sister in law. I went for the make up and lash application. The experience was great and make up was amazing too. I loved it when I left. I got the makeup for my engagement shoot. I gave it 3 stars because in almost all of my photos you can see the glue from the lashes. It's really disappointing as I loved the make up but I guess I shouldn't have done lashes. I would definitely come back for make up but not lash application.

It was my first time here and with no direction Angie did a great job & my hair looked great! Definitely exceeded my expectations. Also like that this location has an outside entrance and you don’t have to walk through the mall. Only downfall is it’s a little pricey and there should be a 5 min grace period between appointments instead of back to back clients so that if you’re running a few minutes late it’s not a big deal.

I love the ladies at Blo Bayview Village. I go there almost every week and they are always so welcoming and I leave feeling beautiful!

Salon was insanely overbooked. I waited 30 mins for my appointment at 10am. The stylist used no product in my hair and it fell flat within 30 minutes. Extremely dissatisfied as I paid $75 to have my face soaked and covered in hairspray.

Unfortunately, I didn’t like at all they did my hair - I asked twice for volume and big wavy curls, instead I got zero volume and small curls as they didn’t have a bigger curler. When I asked to do the curls with a flat iron, they couldn’t do it either as they applied something on my hair (without asking me) that would make it difficult to do it. So I had to redo my hair at home myself(( The makeup was decent, that’s why I’m giving 3 stars.

The first time I went their sink overflowed because hair was blocking it. The entire back of my shirt and pants got soaked and there was water all over tthe floor. The second time I booked I cancelled the day before via phone and they did not honour the cancellation because it wasn’t via email or website Not impressed at all.

Madison is an amazing stylist. I always get lots of compliments when she does my hair. She also has a lovely demeanour and makes you feel very comfortable.

I felt rushed with only a 45 minute window and my hair looked exactly the same as when I do it myself. I felt I wasted my money and didn't have a good experience

Nicole was phenomenal! I will be going back each time having her service me. She asked amazing questions and took care of my hair the best it's felt.

Have been going to Honey regularly for over a year now!!! She is so talented, I always feel confident going to special occasions after she does my hair and get so many compliments . The bonus is it looks beautiful for daysss.
