I stay at a lot of HI Express hotels for work trips. This one did not measure up. Rooms are very small. Bathrooms are even smaller. Workspace was very limited. Tiny desk. My room was not cleaned properly. Hair all over the shower. Drink stains on the desk and nightstand. The TV and internet were good. Staff was friendly.

This Holiday Inn Express is located in a pretty isolated area, next to a police station, with one restaurant bar in another nearby hotel as a local option. Otherwise you're commuting for meals and drinks. Friendly staff and fairly helpful. Pool is dull and not appealing. Breakfast was good and staff ensured they didn't run out. Overall not great value for the price.

The room was great, staff very friendly, quick check in. Beds very comfortable and breakfast was good. The bad: the toilet in room 607 ran all night and only flushable by reaching into the tank and flushing it by hand. Ki da gross we had to do that but it stopped the constant sound of water running and it flushed. I did report to the lady at check out. Hopefully they get it fixed so future guests don't have to do the same.

This place is the definition of a hit or miss. First of all Location is not ideal. They’re not a lot of spots to go to in that area besides the police station. The room was OK and had everything you really need. Some minor nit-pics like the blinds letting too much light. When we were there, the TV was not working and we were not notified about it. The Wi-Fi kept dropping, but was functional. Our safe wasn’t even working and maintenance was no help. Speaking of the service the front end service was pretty good. No issues with them. They were really nice but when we ask help on the phone, they didn’t really help us. The amenities of the place, were by the books they had a pool, a gym, and breakfast. The food was hit or miss. The first day was whack, but the second day was OK. What I recommend this place to anyone no. But if you want to save the buck or two maybe it’s worth it?

No hot water. Did not advertise pool been out of order. Update, Nice letter from head office. Blah blah blah. Refund please, or at least partial. We paid for this room and expected at least some basics. Other than bed and tv.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY! Most of the photos you see are for the old hotel, not the new one. The rooms were small and still had a nauseating smell of new construction. Not even enough space on the counter for a make-up bag. Barely enough room for our bags. The pool was still closed. Parking was confusing since there was construction. Breakfast was fine, but there were fewer choices than other HI Express. I felt like they were charging so much because it was mew, but that was the main thing that made me want to leave. Still need to let it air out. We were supposed to stay three nights but left after the first. The only good thing was how accommodating the staff was.

Irene is amazing! Excellent customer service, whatever they are paying her, it is not enough. She's very professional and was extremely helpful. Breakfast was pretty good and dining room and kitchen staff were excellent. I hope the management realizes how good this staff is and that they pay and treat them well. We enjoyed the pool and the room was pretty comfortable. Great to have a fridge and a microwave. The place was clean, we would definitely stay there again.

We went to a music festival at Downsview Park. This hotel was 6.5 km away (20 cab ride in the late evening) and was conveniently located right off the 401 so the transition is great for travelers. The receptionist was polite and helpful and check in/out the easiest I've ever had. The room was clean and newly renovated, beds comfy and pillows labeled soft and firm, which I loved. The complimentary breakfast was great and included eggs, bacon, cereal, muffins, cinnamon buns and a pancake maker. Coffee was good! Thank you!

Never was ask how our food was, never was asked if I wanted more coffee, or water for my partner! Food is great, with good portions for the cost! Great restaurant by last visit server's were very bad!

Cancelled our reservation 2 weeks before out trip stating hotel was not built or would not be renovated by our arrival. We were not given an alternative or suggestion. Poor customer service. We should have not been able to book the room at all if it was not built.

This hotel has just been remodeled and appears in many ways to be brand new. However the pool is out of service and there is so much road and train construction around the hotel that it is next to impossible to get in and out during morning and afternoon rush hours. We will be checking out early and finding a hotel in a better location.

This location lost a client. Disgusted with the lack of customer service I received. The beds were the only good experience here. My flight was abruptly cancelled, I did not have my credit card with me, only credit information and my debit card. This location made an exception for me, apparently, on the first night as I had booked and prepaid online prior to check in. However, when I asked for another night the next day, the worker very politely refused to help me.. because I didn't have my physical card with me. He said he couldn't take my debit card either. He provided no solutions, only a consistent "sorry this is our policy". Shameful. But get this!! I made a reservation at the holiday inn just 10 minutes away AFTER the conversation I had with this "front desk" attendant. And that location was more than willing to actually HELP me and provide the information I needed. I am already stressed enough, with my flight being cancelled and my new flight two days away, having to take time off work and navigate through insurance BS, and the workers that were here at noon on Tuesday June 27th were horrendously under skilled and left me feeling MORE stressed, upset, and completely uncared for. It is not hard to take care of clients, you should not be in the business of customer service if you can't do that.

While the hotel is fairly close to the major roadways, I would not recommend it. The elevator was not fully functional for my entire duration. The hotel is showing its age and is not in a very nice part of the city. The breakfast was mediocre but having too much of a focus on sausage.

This hotel really was nice enough for the price. They offer US AAA as well as the Canadian car club discounts, which is awesome coming from the states!. It's a tad off the highway, but that makes it a nice quiet place to stop at. Breakfast here was really nice for a free continental surprisingly. Check in, even late at night was flawless, and as I said, it's pretty quiet if you're looking for a good nights sleep. It's about 15 minutes from Canada's Wonderland theme park, so its close enough and yet far enough that its not an outrageous price! I believe it was under $70 (US) at the time. Rooms were comfortable, and clean.

Overall good experience. Staff here is fantastic and the room is good. The location isn't the greatest but lots around if you are willing to drive a few minutes. Gym is okay as it only has the most basic and the pool is good for its size. Breakfast is included and tastes great. I just wish it opened earlier then 630.

Lots of features I enjoyed. Friendly staff that helped us keep an eye out for keys we lost. A really great breakfast. Easily accessible computers of which you could print from free of charge. Pool and gym were of a satisfactory quality. The only thing is the beds were doubles in a standard 2 bed room so it was a bit small for my wife and I.

As far as staying in a hotel goes, this was absolutely wonderful. The staff are extremely friendly and compassionate, and they truly make you feel welcome! The room was absolutely gorgeous and well worth the price, and your room deposit is returned when you check-out. The view from our room, allowed us to see the CN Tower (not sure if my spelling is correct). If you have a chance to stay here, you'll definitely enjoy the experience.

Currently being used as a shelter to help with overcrowding hostels. Staff is optimal at the hotel. I am very much grateful to be living here currently giving me the opportunity of moving forward from here and find permanent housing. I feel safe!!
