Honestly, beautiful park but the toddler play area sucks, everything is old and falling apart. This really needs to be updated, not asking for a lot but does need to get everything replaced. There is how ever a bigger play ground with swings and climbing ropes, with money bars etc. but this is defiantly for kids 4 and up. I have a 2 yr old and he loves slides but they way the bigger park was designed doesn’t allow him to go up on his own or even with my help, it’s way to high up and the stairs are not good. Please fix the toddler play area!! Thank you ♥️

Please don't let your children play in this park. If you go into the forest there's dirty needles everywhere disgusting

Nice large park in the middle of the city, filled with Tennis Courts, Basketball nets, a community centre providing washrooms, soccer fields, and a baseball diamond.

Bring your doggos and doggas to the park at 4pm. That's when everyone is having fun

Very nice and big park. Great place to have a picnic or to take children to play. If you're lucky enough you can see bunnies and squirrels. The only thing which I don't like is that there is a bit of trash every here and there.

Offers an out door pool, community centre, tennis courts, small splash pad, separate park for little ones and for the larger kids and a library conveniently located smack in the middle of all the fun. There's definitely lots to do.

Two parks beside one another; one for toddlers and one for bigger kids within walking distance of community centre. Lots of fun to be had here

Great park. Lot of open space and secluded from the main road

Love this park! It's huge, beautiful, great playground equipment, huge fields for soccer, 3 baseball diamonds, basketball courts, tennis court, library, and community center!

Amesbury Park is a nice park. Lots of baseball fields, soccer fields, but still lacks some picnic and long walk perks. This is more for the sports person as the community center has other activities that you can enjoy in the park too. Bring your library card if you have one and check out the library.

There was a dead animal in the wood chips. If my daughter was younger and had come across that, it may have been problematic Otherwise the park is quiet but more suitable for ages 3-6 in my opinion. It was really cute

Big spacious park, sicker fields west end, baseball diamonds east end, washrooms and picknick tables in between under the trees, nicely designed park.

It's a small park and got many people enjoying their afternoon. The ages here are wide... You get from kids to seniors. It's nice to see all happy faces. There's a library just besides it. You gotta watch if you are taking the kids there since it is very close to the main Street. Many restaurants and shops are close by.

I've attended the Canada Day festivities for over a decade. There is usually an ice cream truck there in the summer. They have upgraded the playground multiple times over the years. It's a great park!

Beautiful park in the summer. There's a basketball court, a tennis court, and an all-round sports court (which people have used to play soccer). The playground has recently been renewed in the last few years, and there are a few swings if you like it. Amesbury library is also nearby with the Amesbury Sports arena which has huge parking space. The splash pad opens in the summer and I see lots of kids and their families go to enjoy that. The pool is not too large, but good for kids learning to swim.
