Great things are happening here. The future is bright for this shopping centre owned by Serruya Private Equity. Many know the brothers who started their first Yogen Fruz location in the Promenade. Hope they can provide things malls lack these days... indoor plants and trees, fountains, amazing holiday decorations and trendy stores and some Canada First retailers.

Promenade mall has quite the amount of hidden treasures. Surely to leave you wanting to come back. The shops are well assorted and the food court is amazing. One star off because the washrooms are quite repulsive.

Been here a few times over the years. The mall is okay, it's quiet which is nice but nothing about it really stands out or grabs my attention. If you want to do your shopping in quiet this isn't a bad place to choose but other than that nothing really drives me to do my shopping here.

Used to be a nice mall. Bright and spacious. Now every brand store is closed or closing including H&M (Feb 20, 2022) and Aritzia, Old Navy, Dynamite - which is bizarre since a huge condo is developing right beside. Many empty stores or no name ones. Not much of a point going there now sadly.

Opting for this mall is ideal as it's rarely crowded, given its ample size, allowing you to concentrate solely on your shopping. Many of my preferred brands have outlets here, and the unique court on the third floor houses dentistry, Kumon, and various other businesses.

Used to be such a good mall now it’s empty all stores closed down or not open. Everything good is now closed don’t bother travelling to this mall

This is the worst mall layout I've ever encountered. Concepts like "east wing," "west wing," "front," and "back" are utterly lost in this maze. To decipher the "you are here" map, you must be an expert in cartography. I'm certainly not geographically challenged and can navigate any space with ease, from my own pockets to dense forests... any space but this dreadful mall. You can enter through any door and get lost within a few steps. You'll wander for an hour, repeatedly passing the same abandoned coffee cup. Eventually, you'll emerge in the least expected place, with the entire mall between you and your parked car. Fortunately, a couple of highrises were recently built nearby. Visible through the skylights, they provide some sense of direction in this hellish labyrinth.

Promenade Shopping Center is located in Vaughn, half an hour walking distance from intersection Bathurst and Steeles Ave W. This is one of the most beautiful shopping mall around the Toronto area. Promenade Shopping Center has a lovely food court.

Spacious and clean. Used to shop there during weekend and love the food court with lots of choices. Many empty stores or no name ones these days. Used to be a lovely mall, now many big name anchor stores are closed or closing including H&M and Aritzia, Old Navy, Dynamite during Covid. Now we only drop in TNT for groceries.

Promenade Shopping Mall is a popular destination located in the heart of Thornhill, just north of Toronto. This indoor shopping center features a variety of stores, restaurants, and entertainment options. Some of the highlights include large anchor stores such as Hudson's Bay and Sears, as well as a wide range of specialty shops selling clothing, jewelry, electronics, and more. The mall also features a food court with a variety of options for dining, as well as sit-down restaurants for a more formal experience. In addition, the mall hosts events and activities throughout the year, such as seasonal displays and concerts. The mall is clean and well-maintained, making it a great place for a day of shopping or a night out with friends. Overall, Promenade Shopping Mall is a must-visit for anyone looking for a diverse shopping and dining experience in the Toronto area.

Quite a bit of stores are permanently closed. Not many nice stores to shop at. Quite a waste for such a good size mall. Food court is nice.

This is a quiet mall that used to have alot of the known brands but nowadays, it's taken on alot of new entrepreneurs that are starting out and giving them a chance. There's new real estate going up all around this mall and I'm sure after everything is done it'll be the place of its former glory. T&T grocers are still here along with the dollar store. The food court has some good options as well.

Many things you need you can find all here. Asian or even Vietnamese products. Although the prices are quite high comparing to other super markets but the qualities go high with the price. The ready made foods taste great as well. Sure will think of it in the first place if i wanna grab something.

The reason I am giving promenade 4 stars is because I really like the amount and which store they have. I mainly go there for imagine cinemas, but just walking around the mall it was a great time and it was nice to see the all the stores.

It's an average mall but has lost the luster it once had before. It lost some of its anchor stores and most stores are out of business... but its a nice mall if you're looking for a quiet shopping experience with no lines.

Used to be cool but more than half the mall is just empty stores or random ones that no one ever goes to. There is literally nothing to do here except maybe visit the theatre. So depressing.

Mall had been recently renovated, looks really nice, but thanks to the pandemic, I'd say only about 60% of the stores are open. Will it come back to its former glory? Who knows...

Promenade Mall is a beautiful mall with multicutural visitors. The vibe is great when you see happy people enjoying their meals in the food court area. Agreed with other reviewers that the mall can make some changes with the stores. (On the other hand, there are some unique stores you cannot find in other big box malls) Other than that, it's a nice mall to hang around with.

Some major stores but a lot of empty/boarded up locations. It’s a quiet mall but not in the same way you might describe Erin Mills with its charm. If you’re looking for a lot of mall staples this isn’t the right place to go to

The shopping mall is less crowded compared to other shopping malls considering the size of it. Most of the stores were either vacant or closed when we visited. But, the food court was rather busy, which made sense for the weekend. T&T Food Market has an overpowering scent of fish which just isn't my thing and I didn't want to get close to it. It's good when you need a particular item from a specific store; get in the mall, go straight to that store, buy what you need and leave.

This mall prior to the COVID-19 pandemic was busy, I wouldn't say it's the same caliber as Yorkdale mall but it is nice. I passed by the Foot Locker and it looked really low on product. The TNT Asian grocery always has a crowd, there is a movie theater here, Venom 2 and the animated Adams Family 2 has just been released there were a few people entering though I was there in the daytime. There is a Walmart across the street and an M&M Meats on the same property just in the strip mall portion. Technically not a Toronto mall so if you are taking public transit it is a journey to get here.

Bed bath and body works was great. However the food court of KFC I give a zero as my husband got food poisoning. The chicken was burnt and smelled disgusting A&W was another 5. More customers at KFC realized that their batch was terrible and my husband got his money back. Parking was great

Great Visit to Promenade Shopping Centre! Loved the diverse selection of shops and the friendly atmosphere. The mall was clean and easy to navigate. Plenty of dining options too. Convenient location with ample parking. Definitely a top spot for shopping in Thornhill

We used to frequent the mall when we lived closer, but things have changed quite a bit over the years. In particular, many of the big-name stores/popular retail chains no longer have locations in the mall. Most stores are independent businesses or discount brands. Mall traffic is definitely not as much as a result, and the hot spot is mainly the food court, where many older patrons seem to congregate. The mall is, however, still conveniently located for many people, including those who use public transportation. The T&T is also still there making it convenient for those looking to grab groceries while visiting the mall (or vice versa). The cinema also still remains. Promenade Mall is oddly also one of the few malls that is often still open on public holidays, which makes it a good option for killing time on those days.

A clean, quiet, and well-maintained little mall. A lot of the good stores have unfortunately closed, so it's not what it used to be. Hopefully they'll come back once construction in the area is finished. For now, it's still a nice place to eat since the food court is never too crowded, to grab groceries since there are multiple specialty grocery stores (T&T Market and Nortown Foods), or just to walk around indoors when the weather outside is lousy.

Nice, clean mall! We went on a Wednesday evening and the place was almost completely empty. But it was nice to be able to sit in the food court without being super crowded like other malls lol

Close at 8. Having a large food court. Relaxed place in the area with good atmosphere.

2 floors of great stores, and a pretty good food court too. Nice modern facility. Parking all around it. Just check closing times because I noticed some stores close 5 or 10 minutes early. Don't be late! PS: has a small roller skating rink also. $20 per hour covers all.

The place is clean and bright, so is the washroom. Most of the time I come here for the movie theatre, and sometimes the movie is late in the evening, then it’s so difficult to get in or to reach the supermarket and other restaurants that are still open. Because they lock all the doors, and there’s construction lately, almost impossible to get back to the main entrance once you left the building. We were lucky last time that we ran into a janitor and thanked him holding the door for us.

Went here as we often go to Vaughan mills and we wanted to see any new places in Vaughan and this hidden beauty showed up. Expecting it to be a smaller mall, my family were pretty taken a back from the size of the mall. Going inside, a number of stores were on lease or closed, but there were a good variety of other stores opened as well! But boy, when we saw T&T, we were so excited to take a look and well...we walked out with 10 egg tarts and a dragonfruit drink. A star was taken down as the bathrooms had an uncomfortable sewer smell and the floor had wet stains and toilet paper.

Not a huge diverse selection of great stores. Good mall if you need something small and want to get in and out quickly since it’s not really a crowded place. It’s good enough to serve the needs of the neighborhood it’s located in.

I am a little disappointed that some of my favorite stores are gone. The vibe now is more laid back and mellow. I've been to the theater as well, and I'm glad it's been upgraded. Still quite a bit of construction on the other side facing bathurst, but I still enjoy the walk around inside.

This is a good mall. Everything is done very well, with the exception of the parking lot- it is very large, but the road itself (space between rows of parking spots) should be wider. I found it only wide enough for one car total. Also please add a paper towel option for the restrooms. Otherwise the facilities, signs, and mall itself are very nice.

We enjoy coming to this mall. But over the last year, many of the stores have closed down which doesn't leave many options to shop at. Still, there are some boutique stores where you can find unique pieces to wear. They also have an indoor play area, where you can leave your kids while you go and shop.

  • 3/5 David F. 2 years ago on Google
Not like it used to be. A decade or more ago it was sprawling with so many people. Lately, businesses closed and were replaced quickly. There are far less people in the mall nowadays and it's been happening before the pandemic. The food court is lacking in more selections.

I need a wheelchair and it was so easy to borrow one. We were able to get all our shopping done. All the stores had good supply and there was no waiting in line. We were able to get everything on our list. Super trip to a beautiful mall

In the history books of worst hair salons, the top contender is called Tonyc in promenade mall. My advice to all is "AVOID" this place. You will be richer than you think.

  • 5/5 manpreet k. 2 years ago on Google
Excellent place with an impressive collection of shops and with a very impressive food court. Find luxury and premium brands alongside familiar favorites. Lots of variety here. Great opportunity for options if one is looking for different designs and unique items. The layout offers a logical path to follow yet interesting enough to meander if one wants. If shopping is your thing would recommend checking it out. Touch less doors…..

A large "upscale" mall. There is an old Navy and a large Chinese market. Cinemas. There are many vacant stores. A good food court.

  • 2/5 Mark W. 2 years ago on Google
The promenade is going thru a huge transformation, new condos, etc. Because of this the mall has lost a lot of good benefits and vendors, loads of empty commercial spaces. Until the mall is completed Vaughan Mills is a much better alternative. Mark

Decent place to visit, not too crowded. But i like the place very much, they have a touchless door! At this time of the pandemic, the less we touch common areas the better!

In the pandemic, everyone should follow the same rule. Checking ID and vaccination proof is normal in this circumstance, but the security checked coming in and out properly depending on the race. It shouldn't happen whatever the reason.

Good clean mall, close to Cadillacs Fairview mall standards. Two level and some high end shopping. A good food court and free, safe parking near a main bus terminals stop.

Stopped for quick lunch .Food court good & still many above average retail merchants.

  • 5/5 Nelson W. 2 years ago on Google
    1. Clean and relatively quiet. 2. Touchless clean washroom. Rather unique all-in-one touchless water, soap and dryer. 3. Spacious food court seating, with nice Christmas music, especially early in the morning before 10 a.m. 4. Santa and helpers with large Christmas tree and several silver large reindeer statues in the mall for picture taking. 5. A great choice to do mall walking in the morning.

Even though after growing up here I love the place I still know it's pretty Garbo. All the stores are trash and there are basically no good deals or anything. The only reason to go is for the movie theater and the occasional restaurant. There's nothing to walk around and see besides for the occasional weird shop where they have no customers so they will do anything to make you buy an overpriced item you don't need. Showcase is a great example of this, love it or hate it there's nothing of substance there. Unfortunately as much as I'd like to give it a better review the reality is it's an "okay" mall and I hope that maybe one day it'll get better.

Great little mall! It is unexpected to see more popular brands in it but I came for Aritzia and found it easily enough. I did drop into other stores and found all the staff at the stores here to be completely lovely. Super friendly and helpful! If I'm in North York again I will definitely drop by here.

All the major anchor tenants are gone and it's a shame because I really love this mall. It's mainly held together by a lot of Independent stores and an okay food court and the TNT supermarket. Location wise there really isn't another good shopping mall around the area and I don't know why this mall isn't busier. The mall physically looks clean with lots of space on the inside. It's just simply not busy for whatever reason and it's always been like that even in its good days.

If you love cute stickers and neat little cardboard furnitures, this is the place to go!!! The store itself has an amazing back story and the staffs are so welcoming !

It's getting really sad because this mall used to have so many stores and options to choose from but soooo many stores closed down. There are alot of vacant units here. Not sure if it's due to covid or high rent. I would really like to see more stores added to this mall. The location is amazing and it's in such a convenient area. Just needs more stores. It's also very quiet now.

Lovely mall, designed in a manner you don't see any more. Lots of glass & vaulted ceilings. Spent my youth here & just visited after 10 years; nice to be back.

  • 3/5 Gal D. 1 year ago on Google
Used to be lit but isn’t as amazing anymore compared to the other malls. It’s nice and clean, quiet, has a cute cafeteria where there’s always a table to sit at (unlike other malls). Those classic stores are still there, like dollarama and T&T, but bulk barn and sears are gone so it’s a bit sad. Moreover, rainbow cinemas is now Imagine Cinemas and has great recliner seats and small theatres, so that’s always fun.

Mall is getting more run down.. been to this mall since 2010.. the quality of stores are declining, and now.. 15% of the stores are close. Remaining ones are lacking business... Only store with traffic is T&T
