The bar is awesome here and has a rock solid menu with some vegetarian options. Has a nice mix of dine in, quiet, loud, social. game-watching and dining—depending on your dinner intentions. Only real weird thing I found was that reservations, walk-ins are booked yet the place has seating. An obvious conclusion here is that they are short-staffed. Worth a mention.

Went on a weekend night, and was delighted! Superbly lifting ambience and great atmosphere! Drinks were awesome! Food was terribly expensive, but was tasty. The only downside was speed of service, server’s lack of awareness and nonchalant behaviour, as we were waiting for our food for over 45minutes… however, recommended for one of the best hangout spots near Yorkdale!

Made reservations for Happy Hour after shopping at Yorkdale. (Without reservations, it was about 30 mins wait). We asked for a table upstairs and were told that they were not able to accommodate. However, when we went to the washroom (upstairs), there were plenty of tables available. Our waitress, Amalia, was so polite and a pleasure to interact with. We were even offered complimentary bubbly upon arrival to our booth. Everyone from the hostess, our server, and even the manager were so kind. Best JOEY location thus far. Note - The restaurant is not accessible through the mall.

After reopening now in the beginning of 2022, this place is packed again! Great food and great and bright ambiance! I visited for lunch and big open windows are a great feature of this place which makes it so pleasant to spend some time there! Please just make sure that your servers are a bit quicker and more responsive! I know it could get busy and there is a lot to do, however just send a glimpse towards your guests’ tables just to see if they need anything.

Met up with some friends for lunch and we all enjoyed our meals. I had a tasty burger with fries, but my friend’s Cobb salad looked delicious. The service was very good and our server was very knowledgeable. I just wish that the menu items weren’t so expensive.

Went for dinner with a close friend of mine on a Tuesday evening. It seems the upstairs is closed on Mondays and Thursdays. The lady at the front desk ushered us to a table downstairs. She was very attentive. Loved the atmosphere here. The lady who served us provided a superb service. Sorry that I forgot her name 😔. I ordered a hand pressed burger with bacon and regular fries. Loved the burger. My friend ordered a steak with smashed potato spring rolls. Spring rolls ( I think I got the name correct) were sooooo good. Will visit this place again.

This was my final stop with my family before my flight back. Making reservations for 8 was considered a large group, which to me was shocking. It also meant automatic 18%gratuity. Our waiter was amazing none-the-less. We had a small baby in our midst, and two parents who were venturing out for the first time. A little upset my fav Ahi Tuna Tacos were gone, but food was amazing.

Great quality food and amazing drinks! The service was slow. For desserts we ordered the chocolate lava cake, we really appreciate the kind gesture when I told her about our anniversary:)

This was a great place to have Sunday brunch. The wait was less than 30 minutes as we didn't have a reservation. We were seated in the lounge/bar and our server was Alba; she was absolutely amazing. She provided excellent customer service. She was kind, courteous and funny. She also made helpful suggestions to our drink and food selections. Alba was very approachable and always made excellent contact with our table and was there if we needed anything. The food was DELICIOUS from start to finish. We enjoyed drinks from the non alcoholic menu of She Pretty and Matcha Mojito. The appetizers of Hummus with crispy pita and Joey's famous loaded mashed potato spring rolls with sour cream, bacon and chives....THIS IS A MUST HAVE!!!! Our mains were the Prawn and Lobster Ravioli with steak and Chicken Parmesan. We also had for dessert the beautifully made Individual Apple Pie with Maple Ice Cream. I'm happy to report we were apart of the Clean Plate Club....everything was FANTASTIC!!!! The restaurant was clean and all COVID safety protocols were met. I will definitely visit Joey's Yorkdale again. Thanks again and keep up the amazing work!!! Mr and Mrs Nicole....Alba will get it lol 😉🤣

We came a bit late, but the staff were amazing, helpful and incredibly friendly. The food tasted great, and our waiter was extremely patient with us as we chatted away and kept forgetting to look at the menu to order. Definitely recommend coming to this location!

Yes. The energy and ambience of Joey's is amazing. We had a great server and the food was good. The only negative comment I have is our food took longer than expected and the mgr was gracious and comped a large part of our meal. I thank her for that. Joey's is a great spot. Check it out.

Dinner was great, the atmosphere was very nice. Hostesses and servers were very welcoming and attentive. Had a short wait time to be seated but we were offered a glass of sparkling wine while we waited. All the food we ordered tasted fantastic!

Very busy location. It used to have good food. But we were disappointed this time - the French fries was cold, oily, so it really over priced - $25/order. The cauliflower comes with small pieces but priced for over $15! The dishes in general are not hot, and quite small.

The service: Very good, our server was prompt courteous and present. Service goes along way for making a good Resturaunt. The food: We had chicken burgers with fries and salad, and Bombay Butter Chicken with Naan bread. No complaints from the burgers, Butter Chicken was also good. White wine sangria, not so good .. seemed a little weak and they were $12 each .. we had two. Price: Over all… Bill was $120. minus the drinks your looking around $27 a plate. It was the butter chicken it was over $30. It wasn’t terrible for price but not great value either. It was the service for me on this restaurant…our waitress was great and the ambiance was good. If you want a nicer place to eat with good service and don’t mind paying a little more .. it’s worth a try.

Overpriced restaurant. Their food was average. Nothing special. But plating is beautiful. Our waiter was amazing and the customer service was good. But they charged us different prices than the menu. For example on the menu it said that the crispy tofu bowl was 23.50 but on the menu before tax and tip they marked it as 26.50. I didn’t love how they did that and didn’t mention it in any way. Atmosphere of the restaurant is nice but not really special for the prices. You won’t really get anything for under $15. Portions are okay but on the smaller side considering the price.

We dined here on a Friday night, and we did not have to wait to be seated. The attendant promptly walked us to our seats and was very accommodating the whole evening. My group ordered the following menu items: CAB Sirloin Steak & Sushi ($32+4), Chicken Parmesan ($26.75), and Prawn & Lobster Ravioli ($32). They all turned out great with the food plating and presentation being on point. The steak was the right amount of tender and juicy. The chicken parmesan was also equally delectable. Overall, I have nothing to complain about the whole dining experience except for a couple of obvious facts that may already be expected for a restaurant of this standard. The menu is on the pricey side, and there are small food portions for some of the dishes. The Prawn & Lobster Raviolo meal is one such example. It is priced more than the Chicken Parmesan, but comes in a smaller serving.

The experience wasn’t the greatest. I ordered the protein burger with truffle fries, even paid extra for the impossible patty substitution with cheese. They ended up forgetting to add cheese which is not a big. The biggest mistake was they gave me two different patties one beef and one impossible in the burgers. I generally don’t eat meats on Fridays but after I bit into it, it was too late. I don’t like wasting food, even though the waitress did offer to remake it. I also did not want to wait. The waitress did apologize and not did not charge me me for the extra cheese. The bigger concern was my friend who was a vegetarian almost took a bite. Overall not a positive experience. Just thought Joey would be a little more careful.

Good place for big or small groups. Nice, big place with 2 floors and an elevator for those that can't do stairs. Very clean and modern. The complimentary champagne on a hot day while we waited for our table is a nice touch. Kitchen forgot our appetizer but made it up with a free desert so we appreciate that gesture.

Me and my fiancé loved LOVED everything about our dinner last night… The meal was perfect and came out in a timely manner, given that it was busy last night (Monday Night) …. The staffs looked so pretty and were very polite…. Can’t wait to come try something else on the menu…. BRAVO!!! That crispy mashed potatoes 🤤… I’m coming back for that… The best.

Joey’s at Yorkdale has become one of my go-to spots in Toronto, and for good reason. The two-story restaurant boasts an impressive interior with high ceilings, chandeliers, and an inviting open bar and kitchen concept. The service has consistently been top-notch, with the host and waitress going above and beyond to accommodate our decently sized party. The menu offers a variety of options, and my friends raved about their burgers. I opted for the steak and torched salmon sushi, a boujee choice for an afternoon lunch, and it didn’t disappoint. I appreciated the lettuce ‘bun’ substitute for dietary restrictions. Overall, Joey’s is a fantastic place to unwind with friends after a day at Yorkdale. Highly recommended!

My family has been here for dinner after shopping at Yorkdale Mall. I wished I knew this place sooner because their food is amazing and the price is reasonable. I love how they made mashed potato in spring roll, crispy outside soft inside. Their rice bowl was good also. Will definitely come again!

Our server was ashley and she helped improve the experience. Ashley was amazing! So sweet and a great conversationalist to keep a happy vibe going while explaining the menu. She helped us celebrate a birthday and even helped clean the glass I spilled and didn't make us feel bad about it. Great service! I would definitely come again not to mention the food was delicious.

We went for a friend's birthday dinner. Everyone was very happy with their meals and the service/atmosphere was great. I ordered the roasted corn guacamole as an appetizer and it was really good. For my entree I ordered the Tuna Poke bowl. I asked them to make it spicy 🔥 and I wasn't disappointed 🙂. The tuna was fresh, the dressing, rice, and veggies were very flavorful. We were very happy with our experience.

I went to Joey Yorkdale with a group of friends and we had such a lovely experience! We arrived a bit early for our reservation, and the hostess showed us up to the bar so we could visit and get drinks before the rest of our party arrived. Our table was ready promptly at the reservation time and we were seated right away. Our server was very friendly and had helpful suggestions for drinks and food that complimented each other. Dishes we enjoyed; Steak Fries, Chicken Sandwiches. Apple pie, cheesecake. Peach Bellinis + Margaritas Overall it was a lovely experience. Our only feedback is that the drinks were not served in the style of glasses that they are made for which we felt changes the drink experience.

Held our company dinner here and had an amazing time! Had Korean fried cauliflower and truffle Parmesan fries for apps and they were so delicious! I could eat the cauliflower everyday! It had a nice crunch, hint of spiciness and just great flavor. Tasted like Korean chicken! The fries was so good too. These apps are good for sharing but can be eaten alone if you’re that hungry. Everyone got steak with different sides but I got the steak and sushi (got tuna and avocado roll). The tuna sushi roll was amazing! Tuna inside and on top! So fresh! The steak was nice and tender. Got it well done. Just a little bit on the salty side probably because it was soaked with soya. It was still nice because the sushi balanced it out. For drinks, I got the spicy passion fruit margarita which was so delicious as well! Had a nice kick to it which was amazing! Second drink was a sangria because it was happy hour already and it was so great too! Perfect if u want something on the sweeter side with a little bit of kick. Service was ok. Our server was friendly but took a while for the main course to arrive, probably half an hour so it was a good thing we ordered apps to compensate for our hunger. It was probably because it was a busy Sunday night. Overall, our experience was amazing. Our team had a great evening. Ambiance was great too. Will come back again!

Everything about my experience was wonderful, and exceeded my expectations as it's a chain restaurant. The food was great, the service was remarkable we had Katherine, and it's a fun atmosphere... If you're a sports lover seems like they have the games showing most times.

Went here for my birthday dinner with a group of friends. I wasn’t sure what to expect as it had been a while since I was last at Joey. We were pleasantly greeted with complimentary sparkling ✨ wine. Our spot was a little too warm for our liking, but we managed well with conversation and lots of water. Our server was Lee and he was sure to provide impeccable service from start to finish (and even took great group pictures of us) Everything we ordered was tasty, fresh and delicious, I got the blackened chicken which I thought might’ve been basic, but it was anything but that, I thoroughly enjoyed it and even had left overs. I was thrilled that they allowed me to bring my own cake as well and get separate checks. I had an amazing time with my friends! Thank you Joey for the best time and food!

Quality and quantity is great. Appetizers are a good size, especially for 3-4 people. The lighting and music makes it a great vibe for any occasion.

Eager to enjoy a well-cooked steak, I headed down there to be greeted by delicious food and an enveloping atmosphere. Onto what I ordered! I got 2 different steak dishes - the steak & sushi, along with the steak & ravioli bianco. Combining the rich flavors of a perfectly seared beef steak with the vibrant tanginess of ponzu sauce, eating the steak and sushi was a tantalizing experience that was made even better with the fresh, high-quality salmon slices atop bite-sized mounds of seasoned sushi rice. The second steak dish with the ravioli bianco featured a robustly flavored grilled sirloin, flavorful prawns that offered a delicate sweetness to the dish, grana padano with a harmonious, nutty profile that added umami richness, and a generously drizzled, velvety truffle beurre blanc sauce. Both the dishes combined made for a masterpiece of a lunch, leaving us utterly satisfied with the taste. Highly recommended! Great visit to joeys after so long. I was a little sad that all my favorites had been taken off the menu (chicken club and lobster grilled cheese that came with this sweet salsa and no flatbread!). Tried the hummus and tzatziki dip which was delicious with the fried pita! Also had the chicken burger which was okay but the kale salad with nuts was weird. It would've been better without the nuts and maybe a peanut dressing. I just had way too many big chunks of peanuts in mine

Wow did covid ruin this place. This was the first restaurant I’ve been to since covid and I was so excited then shortly disappointed. I used to always come here especially for the salad. Now the portions are less than half the size they were with barely anything in it. And the salad looked old. Let’s just say our stay wasn’t very long. By far the quickest meal we’ve eaten. I wasn’t going to complain because the hostess was so nice so we just finished and left. I don’t think we will be heading back here again after this visit. I hope things get better for you guys because it used to be so delicious here at the Yorkdale location.

I made reservations to this location a month in advance for 10 people. I called in qnd the staff were incredably nice and answered all the questions I had. I was able to bring a cake to celebrate a birthday and they were very accommodating. I love the ambience of this location. It is very relaxed and the decor is beautiful. The food and the service was amazing. They were very accommodating ... even with all the restrictions. Our waitor Daniel was super nice and was funny. He was very patient with us and answered all of our questions. I honestly LOVED the food.. that's probably an understatement. not only did I have my meal but I got to try the other dishes served to my friends and they were AMAZING. All the dishes were packed with flavour.. I would definitely recommend this location and come back here again amd again.

Had team dinner . Amazing vibe to be in and sitting . Ordered about 7 different appetizers and nachos were the best but others loved meat ones too . Food was good as everyone enjoyed it . Only con was it took like ages to get the food . Steak was not cooked and they new one which tasted so much better which they could have done better job first time .

My friends and I went to JOEY for a birthday dinner. Since they’re not taking reservations at this time, we were quoted a wait time of 75-90 minutes, however, they had a table ready for us within 45 minutes. The ambience was fantastic; the decor and the light fixtures are well-appointed. Even our seating was great-the booth that we were given might be the comfiest booth I’ve ever sat in! We ordered a few Spaghetti Pomodoros and Fish Tacos. The spaghetti was decent, it was fresh and the dallop of ricotta on top was a nice touch. The tacos weren’t as tasty, the fish seemed a little over-fried and wasn’t fresh. Thankfully, the sweet potato fries and the accompanying sauces were good. If it weren’t for the fries, I would have had a hard time eating the tacos. Lastly, our server, Haseena was incredibly friendly and helpful. She made our visit simply wonderful and served us with genuine care! While we didn’t get to have dessert as we had bought our own cake, we love Joey for their delectable sweets. In the future, I’m more likely to come back for the desserts rather than the main course.

Went there for dinner with a friend on a Saturday night. The host was nice and the waiting was no longer than 45mins. Loved the lights and place but it was obnoxiously loud that I had a hard time listening what the person was saying who wasn’t even across the table from me and it’s not even a club! The $15-$18 drinks don’t even get you slightly drink. The red sangria and the Joey signature cocktail drink was a waste and so disappointing. The food was meh, except the mushroom dip thing that came with the fries.

Ordered a medium rare steak frites and it comes out as extremely rare. Before the team could cook it and bring it back, my whole group was done eating so they packed it up to go. Just to open the packs and see this. I received only arugula instead of a full salad with tomatoes mixed as well. And then this piece of meat and tiny amount of fries for the price I am paying is absolutely not worth. The service and ambience was fantastic, and that would be the saving grace here.

Lovely evening dining at Joey Yorkdale. We ordered quite a few apps from their menu and enjoyed most of it, but I can't stop raving about the main course - Katsu Chicken Peanut Salad. Great balance of flavours; the highlight was the miso ginger dressing...👌🏽 For dessert, the warm Italian donuts were heavenly; the perfect ending to our meal. Overall, beautiful ambiance with friendly and prompt service. We're looking forward to another visit.

Came for an event with a group of about 13 people. I understand serving a large group is inherently more challenging, but the experience was not the best/only okay. The Good: We were seated nicely by the hostess. Waiter was very friendly when we mentioned we were going to wait the extra 5 minutes for the happy hour specials. The restaurant also accommodated our request to bring out a cake for a birthday. The Not so Good: Started with the lady bringing the drinks bringing out a diet coke to our guest that had ordered a regular coke. She just said okay when we told her that there was a mixup, and she never came back so we had to ask the waiter for the regular coke. One guest's dish was given to another table, so he had to wait a long time for it to be made again. To be fair, one of the waiters did bring that guest a free drink to make up for it, so that was appreciated. Then when the bill came, everything was charged non-happy hour prices. So we had to send the bill back to be changed, however we believe the restaurant applied the mandatory 18% tip to the original prices. We were in a rush to go to another location so we did not have the time to confirm. Probably wouldn't come back here for large group gatherings.

The food was good. Ambiance was nice. We ordered steak (NY steaks) and after 30 min we were told they don't have any more NY steak. Staff, waiters, waitress and even hostess were shaking hand and hugging people on this one table, like there is no pandemic.

The service was great, fast and the staff were friendly. I got the yellow tuna salad and it was very delicious as well as filling! I also got the sushi cone and was surprised that it came with two cones! I thought it was only one, but for the price, it’s a bargain. It was also delicious and great as an appetizer. Recommend coming here!

The website said there was no reservation available, but my family came anyway hoping to walk-in and be seated, and it worked! So don’t lose hope if it says there are no tables available online. Anyway, it’s a really cool and nice place, with great music and lots of room. The fried cauliflower was so good and the guacamole appetizer was pretty good. I ordered the tuna poke bowl and thought it was pretty yummy. My dad and brother ordered the handcrafted burger and said it was really juicy and delicious. Sister ordered the salmon and said it was okay. It was a fun dine-in experience. I recommend.

Nice ambience but slow service. Food was okay, nothing too special. We had the Spaghetti Pomodoro, California Chicken Club, and a side of sweet potato fries. Asked for more sauce for the fries and got charged extra on the bill at the end - not a big deal to pay more, but would’ve been nice if the server gave us a head’s up when we asked.

Food is always good quality and cooked/prepared consistently. Service can sometimes be hit or miss depending on the people working that day. Some workers are very pleasant some are more serious. I love JOEY and have been to every location, I would say this one has one of the most consistent service and food quality

Joey is always a safe and good choice for dinner. This location serves complementary wine. The restaurant is beautiful especially comparing with other Joey's. Food wise, is a hit or miss. There are photos of foods on Google map just few days ago vs few months ago vs few years ago vs mine are all different.

Let’s start with the good things: I ordered a spicy passion fruit margarita which was delicious and got a peppercorn steak that was also really good . I am giving only 3 stars to this place because the service wasn’t good . My server tried to be nice when she asked what we would like but after that she almost forgot about us . While I was eating I wasn’t asked only one time if everything was ok or if I needed another drink( I was actually hopping to have a beer because my cocktail was gone long time ago). As soon I finished my meal , she comes and grabs my empty plate while my girl friend was still eating .( took them forever to pick hers after). But the wait wasn’t done , I still waited almost 30 min for someone to ask if we wanted something else , I actually wanted desert before that long wait , but when people take too much time to serve you , you just want to ask for the bill and leave … that’s what I did. To finish I only gave 10% tip because of food , if it was for service I wouldn’t even give . Really good food but in my opinion you should work better with staff .

I went here for my friends birthday and it was a vibe. The food did take a little long and the portions were a bit small in my opinion so if you’re someone who has a large appetite this place wouldn’t be for you. I got the California chicken sandwich which was a 4.4/5 it was good but once again I do wish the portions were a bit heavier especially for the sandwich’s! But the atmosphere was great and our server was a beautiful kind lady and service was 10/10!!! Making very enjoyable. She was also very patient with some us as well!!
